The Sanroku Clan is a clan that has been for a long time on a mission to try and capture summons in order to give them the title of being Guardians. These Guardians were set to protect any and all members of the Sanroku clan whether it is with all the powers that they possess or with their lives. Although the loyalty does go both ways as the Sanroku clan member is obligated to treat his summon the same way and thus the Sanroku Clan created a relationship with the Kuchiyose fighting style that can’t be matched by other average shinobis. It is a good time to look for a Guardian now and Dengen believed that today was a day that he will get lucky and find one that can match his needs. Dengen is a picky summoning shinobi as he wants his summons to show if not certain traits then a special one none the less. Dengen has always been seeking power within outside forces and he seen the “animals” from beyond the space and time to be quite fitting to his needs. The Great Monkey Prince Ema is a perfect example to how Dengen likes his summons. Ema is both sharp and elegant in his fighting and Dengen wanted something that is much the same. The Sanroku Clan began with Dengen and Dengen fascination with the space and time fighting style must have come from the stories he heard as a child. Always hearing about werewolves, vampires and all kinds of other monsters always got Dengen thinking about the mythological and historical base of the stories. Sanroku noticed as a young man that all stories have their origins and all origins harbor a character from those stories. One story that Dengen researched as a young man was the story of Tora.

The story went as such.

“Tora was one of the first tigers to have ever stepped foot on God’s green earth. Tora along with a few other wild animals witnessed the birth of humanity. It was all good until a bear asked Tora one day what it would be like to walk on hind legs and Tora responded with blank stare. Wild animals never thought of such an idea and after hearing about it, that idea became a dream for the bear and the tiger. Tora envied humanity so much that he wanted to become one, God hearing the prayers of the two beasts, gave them a deal. The deal was that if they could endure the darkness of a cave with nothing but their own minds to keep them company for 100 days, then they would be transformed into humans.

The bear succeeded and achieved her dream in becoming human, while the tiger couldn’t refrain from his urge to wonder and failed. Fortunately for the tiger, God respected the wild and unearthly dream of the tiger and gave him a second chance. Although he will not be fully human, Tora became a Guardian and got the ability to walk on his hind legs and still be able to revert to his old form if he wills it.”

Dengen was just 18 when he found Tora, or better yet when Tora found him. Dengen walked with a few of his peers through the Valley of Mountains. Knowing that it is there where all the real powerful animals hide when they come to the material world, well that is a something that Dengen translated from old text of a story of monsters coming to haunt the living man who works in the mountains. This story was like many as it had its eccentric truth to it, since the locations named were actual locations in the Valley of the Mountains. The Valley of Death for instants is an area where nobody trespasses in and the soul reason for that fear of entering is the old storybook readings of monsters within caves. Dengen began his journey with just two of his closest friends of the newly formed Sanroku Clan. When they got nearly to the center of the Valley, Dengen came up with a bold plan. He told the two shinobis that it would be better if they split up since they will be able to cover more land, but at the same time Dengen advised them that this was also not a wise move. The plan may not be as perfect as it seems because of the dangers in the mountains. Although Dengen only has stories to follow with he still knows those stories have certain truths to them, and with that in mind Dengen couldn’t stress enough the fact that they should watch their back and be safe while walking these mountains.

Dengen went on ahead, moving forward while the other two went on in separate directions in a fork road. Each member of the Sanroku Clan had just one mission, to catch and gather a Guardian. If they each caught one then they will have three Guardians to bring back to the Sanroku Clan. Dengen didn’t need to go too far in order to see an odd cave on top of a mountain. The cave was odd because instead of being dark within it almost looked enlightened. The cave was releasing a certain light, it wasn’t real bright but it was a light none the less. This is a valley of mountains it is odd to see caves, and especially caves that glow like this. With many paths leading to the top of the mountain and towards the cave, Dengen went blindly heading to the odd scene. When Dengen reached the top he was able to see across the many mountains in the Valley and it was far but Dengen was able to see the east of the village since the Valley stands east – word of Iwagakure. When Dengen got to the entrance of the cave he noticed many paths, and he remembered thinking, “it could take a while before you're done sightseeing here.” Since it's so deserted here, Dengen though this was a perfect place for these “monsters” to hide; walking slowly but surely into the mountain he found a few birds that ended - up flying across the place since Dengen bothered them in their slomber. Dengen wasn’t going to lie to himself, he was somewhat discosted and this was because of a few insects that crawled up and into his sandals while he stopped and let the birds fly out of the cave. Dengen froze when the birds flew at him in all directions and then he began to jump as insects began crawling on his feet. While he was making a fool out of himself a tiger stood staring straight at the young man.

When Dengen stopped jumping and fussing about the insects and birds that engulfed him in such a short time and in such a spontaneous manner, he noticed the tiger standing and staring at him. Dengen didn’t know what to do. He has been preparing himself to catch beasts but now that he faces one it is almost certain to say that Dengen forgot everything that he learned or what he was thinking on doing as soon as he seen the tiger. Sanroku may have looked serious to the tigers view but in reality and underneath that tough layer of skin Dengen was actually fairly scared inside. It was odd he explained, as he felt the feeling that so much people have wrote about before but little have had the un – luckiness and the pleasure of feeling such a unique sensation. Dengens body froze and his body felt more than numb as it he got the feeling that he was losing color as well as the feel of his body. Starting from his toes the turning “white” started and ended when standing all of his body hairs. Dengen then got the courage to speak as he became numb to the numbing fear. “Wh – Who are you?” The tiger didn’t say much as he looked dead into Dengens eyes. Then the tiger turned and began to walk back and into the cave. Dengen didn’t want to lose his chance to speak to the odd beast so he willed himself to be able to move once again. Following the tiger Dengen was wondering about the situation. He thought that this tiger can’t be a normal tiger since for one, it hasn’t attacked him yet and two, it is far too calm to be a wild animal. The tiger walked as if it had no care in the world and paid no mind to Dengen who followed not too far behind. “I know you are not a normal wild animal. You would have been attacked me by now.” Dengen let out a small chuckle after saying this. “You don’t even look back when I speak. A tiger would have done that. You show signs of intelligence.”

When Dengen said intelligence, it must have triggered something in the tigers mind as it turned around and looked at Dengen once again dead in the eyes. Dengen stopped shocked and even a little afraid of the sudden change in demeanor, “Was it something I said?” The tiger then closed his eyes and appeared to almost roll his eyes at Dengen as it turned away. Dengen got mad and said “You ignorant little cat. Why can’t you speak?” The tiger then turned again and slowly began standing on its hind legs. Another glow appeared and it was nearly blinding so Dengen closed his eyes, and when he opened them he noticed the tiger now in a full - fledged humanoid form. The tiger was anthropomorphic in his appearance as it showed features of being human although it was distinctively a tiger. “I knew it. Are you…. Tora?” The tiger then looked at Dengen but this time the face expression wasn’t as cold as it was before. Maybe Tora was glad that someone recognized him but either way he seemed to have liked Dengen just slightly more now after he said Tora’s name. Tora has been in the cave for so long and God gave Tora a mission to be a Guardian, the tiger was confused though since he didn’t know who he will be a Guardian for but after seeing Dengen, Tora began to wonder about his place in his life.

Tora didn’t think much before giving him a test in life, a riddle none - the - less. This riddle was set to decide the destiny of the two warriors and Tora explained the riddle.
“The kage left a 100 Ryo bill on his desk and left. When he came back the money was gone. Only 2 people could have seen it or taken it: the Jounin and the ANBU. When he asks the ANBU, she said that she saw and money and put it underneath the book on the table so no one would steal it. When they look, the money wasn't there. When he asks the Jounin he said that he saw the money where the ANBU left it and put it inside the book so it's safer and even wrote down the page number so he could remember: between page 45 and 46. After talking to his ANBU and his Jounin, the man knew right away who the thief was and called the police. Who's the thief and how did he know?”

“What in heavens name does that have to do with anything?” After saying this Tora staid shut, obviously awaiting the answer he was going to receive. “Ok. Ok. Well, I wouldn’t have trusted the Jounin with what you said so I believe he stole it.”

“Explain your case shinobi.”

“Its simple really, you said that the Jouning remembered the PAGE he left it between. The word wasn’t plural and last time I checked you cant put anything in between one sheet of paper.”

Tora was amazed at how fast Dengen got the answer but he is a man of his word and although he took a little while to speak, he said what he needed to at the end. Thus Dengen got his second summon.

....Dengen, I nearly had a bitch-fit to post to you; however I am not an ass and double checked before I did. Thankfully; your approval for Tora stands; so I don't have to go into that.

I am going to ask that you don't post training like this anymore. Jutsu/summons/etc really should be posted in a single post unless they are EXCEEDINGLY long (EX: Middy's 12k training). It's not against the rules; and you did post decently lengths; so you aren't in trouble. You did break the rule for posting too quickly: please wait 2-5 minutes between posts in single person threads from now on; kay? Verbal reminding, no warning.~
