Kekkei Genkai Description: Adechi possess the ability to manipulate the amount of kinetic energy in action around them, freely translating it into potential energy and back again at their leisure. This grants them several abilities.
- Deny Locomotion. An Adechi can create jutsu that use the Speed Values as a decrease to others' movement speed. When they do so, they can use single-target ranges as normal, but can only use radial ranges of 1 rank lower. If a living being has its movement speed reduced to 0m/s - after factoring in all other modifiers to their speed, such as item passives or positive speed jutsu - they are immobilized for the duration as if by a jutsu of equal rank.
- Deny Entropy. Likewise, an Adechi can reduce the amount of energy being wasted by others' efforts. By choosing a technique with a single-target speed-reduction jutsu, the clansman can attempt to convert all its energy into potential energy. A boulder might halt harmlessly in midair, a fireball might fizzle, and even the loss of heat from cold can normalize. A jutsu that has its speed reduced to 0m/s is dispelled, as if it had interacted once with a defense equal to its rank.
- Potential Energy. Each time an Adechi successfully uses a jutsu that immobilizes someone or dissipates a technique using the above abilities, they gain 1 spark of Potential. They can hold one spark of Potential at a time as a D-rank ninja, and can accrue one more for each rank higher.
- Release Potential. An Adechi can create speed-boost and stat-increasing jutsu that can be created with an additional max effect. These jutsu have an additional activation requirement of one spark of Potential.
