1 Fight Club Proposition Pt 1 [Exhibition|Kennosuke] Wed Jan 30, 2019 10:29 am
Teiho
D-rank
Taiho teased his jaw as he spat over to the side, the pain from the previous fight sticking with him just a bit as he idly contemplated that maybe he had taken it a bit too far. Of course if you really asked him there was no such thing as too far, but he could feel that perhaps these battles were taking a bit more out of him than he’d actually like to admit. Wiping away the blood that leaked from his busted lip with the tattered sleeve of his jersey, he’d rest the arm over the respective knee. He was certain the other guy looked similarly as fucked in the face as he did, the thought that his opponent had actually managed to sneak a few shots in here and there to surprise him only affirmed his choice to fight him in the first place. He could see however that it was growing increasingly harder to fight his opponent in an approved manner, the last time they had clashed the judges did not seem to agree that the force either boy used was necessary in any sort of ‘friendly’ or ‘competitive’ fashion. Of course neither boy heeded the warnings given to them, and now had the battle scars to prove it. But the climax of the battle only left Taiho wanting more. Ignoring the pain and the aching muscles, the thrill and exhilaration of fighting someone near his skill level left him with a bit of want and need that he didn’t know he actually wanted until now. However it also left him with a sense of melancholy that they would never be able to battle in a full sense without others interfering with their battle.
Looking over to the side to observe the village before him, he’d hawk loudly to clear his sinuses of the collecting mucus and blood before spitting it over the side once again. He could hear the indignation of the civilian he had hit with his disgusting discharge, but he didn’t care too much for it at the moment as he crouched there in contemplation. His cerulean blue orbs could see the abject beauty in the village, the peace that came with sleeping in a partially tucked away portion of a chaotic and war torn world. However that peace also lead to a sense of overprotectiveness that stifled the warriors within the village. Coddled so by so called rules and regulations that kept many of the fighters from reaching their full potential. He could tell his opponent could be so much more if he was allowed, the young man often times meeting his own ferocity if only to not die in the fire and the fury. It made him wonder how the boy would fight if he were cut free, free from the stifled life of peace and order. Free to embrace the chaos of battle and thrive in the fires of conflict. Of course he wasn’t talking about war persay. No that was too chaotic, too many variables that could lead to one of them losing their lives in the process. No some order was necessary, but how much and for how long was debatable. Maybe he would talk it over with the young man to see if he too shared his ideals. If so, then this village may have some hope for it after all. If not, well... there were other ways to convince someone that conflict was good.
