The Hōzuki Wisteria Conserves Technique exploits the unique biology of the Hōzuki clan to reshape the water in the both of the user's user's arms into a form more suited for battle. The Wisteria Conserves Technique transforms the user's limbs into thick cephalopod limbs similar to those on an octopus. The user may choose to transform any one of their limbs into tentacles. The limb affected by this technique will bloom open, splitting into ten separate tentacles as if they were the lower half of an squid. The ability for members of the Hōzuki clan to use the Hydrification Technique on armor they're wearing extends to this technique, allowing any armor the user was wearing on their arms to fuze into this new form and retain any protection it might have originally given, but lose any function that it may have beyond physical protection.
These ten tentacles begin as each having the same length and thickness as the original limb that they transformed from. These tentacles may extend in length up to 70 meters longer than the original length of the limb, being able to extend and retract their length at 40 meters per second. The intense flexibility these tentacles have and the number of sucker pads formed on the underside allow the user to hold and use items just as easily as they would with hands, or support the user's own weight as if they were legs. The intense flexibility even extends to the creation of hand signs, allowing them to continue to form hand signs and cast jutsu with their tentacles with no reduction in efficiency. The tentacles created by this technique may be used as if they were weapons, being able to produce enough force to shatter bones with concussive force. The sucker pods lining the underside of these tentacles may be used to suck onto objects, and these are easily able to support the user's weight for the purpose of climbing terrain. Should they stick to a person or object, they require S-0 rank strength to be removed unless the user wills it. While these tentacles can form hand signs, they do not allow the user to cast jutsu at any extended ranger further than normal.

The Apricot Temptation Technique creates a mass of light orange goo that surrounds the user. The goo takes the form of a blob that will have a radius of 15 meters. The user will float upwards to the center of the blob, but they may continue to move without any reduction in ability around inside the blob. The goo blob may move as fast as the user would be able to move by sliding forward similar to a very fast slug. The blob is considered as a part of the user's body for the purpose of supplementary jutsu that the user may cast. The user may move around within the blob or even partially exit it, as long as they have a part of their body remaining inside the blob they may retain control over it. If separated, control may be regained by simply making contact once again. Four pseudopods may extend from the blog, acting as though they were the user's limbs, either arms or legs. The pseudopod limbs likewise function as if they were the user's limbs, being affected if other jutsu or effects would target or apply to the user's limbs. These limbs can not form hand signs, but the user is easily able to still form hand signs within the goo. The user has a basic amount of shape changing ability regarding the goo, able to form it and its pseudopods into different shapes due to how the blob can retain its shape. The pseudopod-limbs may be extended to up to 60 meters, and extend and retract at 35 meters per second. The goo has a basic stickiness, able to stick itself to objects and climb up vertical surfaces or even across ceilings with ease. The blob itself is semi-solid and generally behaves as if it were a solidish slime. It's semi-solid nature and stickiness makes it nearly more solid than liquid, and because of this, the Apricot Temptation technique doesn't conduct electricity as water does, although raiton jutsu still can damage this technique normally. The true purpose of this technique is its ability to collect and drain water, rehydrating the user to a basic extent. On contact with living skin or tissue, the goo is able to draw a large amount of water out and use that water to hydrate the user. This dehydration effect will produce major third-degree tissue damage through the amount of water being removed from the tissue.

This technique was developed by Chigetsu to extend the general abilities of his clan. The Hydrification Technique transfers the Hozuki's basic ability to liquefy their body to items they carry, such as their weapons, armor, and clothing. This is what prevents Hozuki clan members from losing their clothing and being forced to fight in the nude whenever they liquify. The Generous Jelly technique is simply a logical extension of this ability. A very simple technique with many different executions, the Generous Jelly technique sends a pulse of water vapor through the air to turn other objects into a pseudo-liquid gelatin-like substance, similar to what his own body would turn into when he liquifies. The jello-ification effect may be transferred through contact with this pulse. The pulse itself is silent, invisible and only noticeable to those who have the ability to detect chakra, and will travel at 35 meters per second. This pulse will affect any solid objects within the radius, and liquefy them into the above-described manner. These items do not liquefy immediately when the pulse hits them, but rather once the pulse of chakra comes in contact with these items the user may choose to liquefy them or un-liquefy them at will.- Item - If an item is within the radius of the pulse, the item can be liquified into semi-solid liquid that quickly loses its form once hit by the chakra pulse. Attempts to hold or use the item will fail, and it will effectively act as if it were a liquid. Abilities that the item may have that rely on its physical form become unusable as long as it is liquefied in this manner. When the three post duration of this jutsu run out, the liquified item will return to its previous form. If the liquid-item is stuck in an area that would prevent the item from returning to its full size, it will simply remain as a liquid until it is released into an area where it has enough space. An item liquefied by this jutsu, regardless of its size, will turn into an amount of water equal to its weight, with one kilogram producing one liter. Because of the item being effectively liquefied, physical damage is unable to damage or destroy it while affected by this jutsu. All of the liquid that makes up the item will recollect when this technique ends, placing it in the location where the majority of its liquefied form it. Items of up to S-Rank may be liquefied in this manner.
- Ground/Other - When the pulse comes into contact with non-item physical objects it will allow the user to liquefy them without fail. Things like the ground, clothing, and parts of buildings will simply liquefy within the technique’s radius, turning into water. It will turn into water at a 1:1 size ratio unlike when effecting items, and after the duration runs out the affected material will transform back into the same material it had been.

The user releases a thick mist from his or her mouth. Those within the area of this mist will have the mist seep into their skin. This mist will seep through clothing and armor as well to reach the skin, able to soak through anything that is not specifically metal or waterproofed. This soaking represents a bit of the Hōzuki user's chakra seeping into the air in the form of mist, and then into the skin of the people who enter the mist. While they are soaked a number of interactions with jutsu may occur. None of these effects apply to Hōzuki Clan members.- The target will take +1 damage from Raiton based attacks. Furthermore, should the target attempt to use any jutsu that requires the Raiton element, the jutsu will backfire. Rather than activating, the jutsu will deliver a painful electric shock to their body that would deal equal damage to the rank of the jutsu [taking into effect the +1 damage] and then leave them stunned for one post.
- The target will take -1 damage from Katon based attacks. The drenched nature of their bodies will provide some resistance to Katon and fire.

The mist will seep into those who aren't members of the Hōzuki Clan and render them soaked, even if they leave the radius of the mist. Those who are soaked will take damage one rank higher from sources of raiton, but one rank lower from sources of katon. Any raiton technique that a soaked individual would attempt to use will also backfire, electrocuting them and dealing damage equal to the lowest value of its rank (after taking into account the extra raiton damage being soaked by this technique causes).- The target will take +1 damage from Raiton based attacks. Furthermore, should the target attempt to use any jutsu that requires the Raiton element, the jutsu will backfire. The user projects their chakra into an area surrounding their body, making themselves capable of generating the as much water as is desired to be used for this jutsu. Water generated by this technique may not be manifested within 1-meter of another shinobi.
C-rank - The area of this technique covers 5-meters, within which the user is capable of generating and manipulating water at a rate of 10-meters per second. Pressurized water at this rank is capable of dealing major 1st-degree bruising.
B-rank - The area of this technique covers 10-meters, within which the user is capable of generating and manipulating water at a rate of 20-meters per second. At this rank, this technique passively lowers the effective rank of Katon techniques B-rank and below within its effective radius by one rank. Pressurized water is capable of dealing major 2nd-degree bruising, possibly breaking bones at this rank, and edges or piercing effects can be formed to cause 2-inch wounds.
A-rank - The area of this technique covers 20-meters, within which the user is capable of generating and manipulating water at a rate of 40-meters per second. At this rank, this technique passively lowers the effective rank of Katon techniques A-rank and below within its effective radius by one rank. The clone has no chakra of its own and cannot use techniques, and may only travel within a 40 meter radius of its creator. This clone is created with a 'clone' of the user's items up to A-Rank, and behaves as if it has the same base stats as its creator.

A variation of the Hōzuki Clan's Water Bullet Jutsu, the Scattering Bullets technique relies on a similar principle. The user condenses water into the tip of their fingers, and after extending their index, middle, and ring fingers together and aiming them the user may violently expel this condensed water out as projectiles. Rather than one bullet being produced a large cone of countless water pellets are shot forth.
At C-Rank, these pellets fire in a cone with a radius of 5 meters. Anyone caught in this cone will be barraged by the water pellets, experiencing major external bruising with potentially fractured bones from the concussive force, along with gashes of up to an inch deep along all exposed surface area. These blasts have enough concussive force to throw individuals who are hit by them, knocking an individual off their feet and sending them to the edge of the blast’s 20-meter range. This knockback may be resisted with an endurance of C-3.
At B-Rank, these pellets fire in a cone with a radius of 10 meters. Anyone caught in this cone will be barraged by the water pellets, experiencing broken bones from the concussive force, along with gashes of up to two inches deep along all exposed surface area. These blasts have enough concussive force to throw individuals who are hit by them, knocking an individual off their feet and sending them to the edge of the blast’s 30-meter range. This knockback may be resisted with an endurance of B-3.
At A-Rank, these pellets fire in a cone with a radius of 20 meters. Anyone caught in this cone will be barraged by the water pellets, experiencing shattered bones from the concussive force, along with the water pellets able to blast holes through individuals. These blasts have enough concussive force to throw people who are hit by them, knocking a person off their feet and sending them to the edge of the blast’s 50-meter range. This knockback may be resisted with an endurance of A-3.
One blast is created and able to be fired by this jutsu. No hand signs other than maneuvering the user's fingers into the above described special pose are necessary to initiate the jutsu allowing for a fast draw. Chakra is paid upon preparation, not activation.

Description:
This technique allows the user to fire condensed water bullets from the tips of their index, middle, and ring fingers. The fired projectile is similar to a shotgun blast, and rather than being a large multitude of projectiles it instead acts as one single cone of effect. The range of this technique is 80 meters, and from the user's fingertips a cone of bullets with a 40 meter radius, traveling at 100 meters per second spray out. Anything within this cone of effect will be blasted to bits by the water pellets, and will have utterly shattered bones from the impact.

Throng of Grudges | 私怨集或 Shenshūaru is a technique that creates Water Clones with the properties of the Water Prison Jutsu. Water Clones created by this technique activate on contact with a target, and because they compose the orb of water instead of being connected to it, there is no entity to attack in order to escape - they have to do as much damage to the water as it would take to destroy the Water Clone. The person within the prison is unable to escape unless they destroy the Water Clone imprisoning them. When the clone is acting as a Water Prison it cannot simply be punched to death though, and may only be damaged through burning, electrocution, and other tissue damage effects. This makes it similar in power to the singular Water Prison, but its strength is in its numbers - it can either repeatedly hamper one enemy or capture a multitude of foes en masse. Five Water Clones are created with these properties by this technique, which all seek out their foes at 40 meters per second. When not behaving as a Water Prison, these clones automatically disperse when hit by any attack that can cause the equivalence of a A-Rank technique in physical damage, or an A-Rank/two B-Rank offensive jutsu. Elemental clones created will have a 'clone' of the user's items up to A-Rank in strength.

This technique creates five water clones imbued with the property of the 'Water Prison Technique'. These clones may activate this ability after making contact with any individual, after which they will explode into their base form of water and wrap around their target to form a water prison. This prison will have a 3 meter radius, and being inside of it will begin the suffocation counter unless the prisoner has some means of breathing water. The sphere is easy to enter from the outside, however once inside the sphere the heaviness of the chakra laced water becomes much more noticeable. This creates a pitcher plant like effect, where entering is easy but escaping is impossible. The person within the prison is unable to escape unless they destroy the water clone imprisoning them. When the clone is acting as a Water Prison it cannot simply be punched to death though, and may only be damaged through burning, electrocution, and other tissue damage effects.
