Mission name: Prepare Exam Arenas.
Mission rank: C.
Objective:
Location:
Reward: 300 Ryo +2 EP.
Mission Description: The exams test entrants' abilities to adapt to different environments as well as opponents simultaneously. Some of these environments are not endemic to Konoha; it's the job of various shinobi to create them according to the proctors' parameters. This is a regular task, as cheaters make repeated attempts to learn the layouts.
Mission Details: A fairly simple request fit for any ninja: terraform and modify the environment to fit the descriptions necessary. You'll be provided with sealing tags or other equipment as necessary to make more permanent changes such as water formations, constant winds, or persistent torches. Earth and even Wood users can begin shaping and growing as ordered. Only approximate changes need to be made for this mission to be completed - even those tasked with this aren't entirely privy to how things are meant to be.
This mission can also entail clearing and resetting the arenas between matches. Lingering hazards such as makabishi, needles, flash bombs, and even fūinjutsu may still be present, so stay on guard.
Exam entrants cannot take this mission! Pursuant to the terms of entry, proven foreknowledge of the exams' conditions can get you immediately disqualified!Mission Thread locked to Verdandi and Maru1500 WC for mission. 5000 TWC for double EP.Total Payout of 300 Ryo and 4 EP possible.
Verdandi had been called for her next task in between matches. Her offer to help with a bunch of missions between the races had proven to be quite fun so far but mostly for the social interaction part, not many of the missions that were being handed out during the exams were much of a threat to the young Jōnin. Verd read through the scroll that was largely imprinted with ‘C-Grade’ and the appropriate color for this difficulty rank. She yawned for a moment at the idea of a tedious task and was going through the various lines of text that described where she had to report, which arena fields in question were requesting help and what the task at hand should be. Cleaning arena’s off hazards after battles. Helping shape up new ones with specific criteria given by the Exam comity. Fair enough. Verdandi would read through the extra lines and as usual during her missions in the leaf, she found herself with an appointed Genin. It was a name that didn’t ring a bell to herself but Verd had been facing lots of new people, which kind of was the whole point of her doing this in the first place. Getting herself connected with the new faces she had not met yet. Sometimes it meant saying hello to her own students like Sachihiro though, which she didn’t complain about either. Verdie was trying to read a bit into the character going by the name. Masu Raiu it said on the paper.
Verd had received one of her most colorful lessons in Kenjutsu from her former teacher and now colleague Mizuki Raiu. If this Masu was anything alike her relative she’d be most likely fun to deal with. Verdie always enjoyed the rather on-spot good will of Mizuki. A leading example of peace in a time where war seemed to be at the very horizon. Verdandi enjoyed peacekeepers a lot, considering herself one and seeing them to be a dying breed in this generation. But maybe, coming from the bloody mist didn’t really help in perspective. Most ninja that held any reputation and rank to themselves in the mist were either merciless killers, heartless monsters or straight forward combat crazy psychopaths. Verdandi enjoyed their company just as much sometimes. The odd bunch that were all a bit off in some way but still wonderful company to enjoy if you were to be an ally or just showed them the… respect they seemed to crave for. Verdandi giggled to herself. She would tilt her head left and right. ‘What kind are you gonna be huh? Crazy… Smart? Evil.. or just straight forward broken nuts?’ she thought to herself in another giggle. A study of various characters was supposed to help oneself grow in their own character. Verdandi was rather tolerant and despite rumors of her being an always-angel type she had not been lost from the influence of the mist. Having obtained many irks that were not always of pure intent and character. Soon her student would arrive at the first stadium, so Verd had to go there and meet up!
