Clan History: The Koutei is one of the two branches of the Teikoku, a very noble and wealthy clan that resides in The Land of Earth. The Koutei branch consists entirely of males and the Kisaki branch of females. Both clans were originally small, and were weak when going against the other clans. They had decided to merge their clans together and combine their strength to form the Teikoku clan.

The Teikoku Clan’s failures were not because of battle, but because of their lack of organizational skills. A Koutei would easily be able to go one on one with an enemy, but were easily outclassed by strategy. Their numbers were dwindled, and they were down on their luck, until they were met with the proposition of the Kisaki. The Kisaki clan suffered from lack of the sheer power that the Koutei had, being diplomats and priestesses rather than fighters. The Clan had a merger, and mingled with one another, solidifying their relationship. The Teikoku had rose to prosperity and became one of the noble clans in The Land of Earth.

Kekkei Genkai Description:

• The bodies of those in the Koutei Clan are known to be physically more capable to both handle and utilize chakra that enhance their physical and mental capabilities, allowing them to Break the Limit. When using Chakra Flow and/or Taijutsu to increase their stats, each individual stat that is boosted gains an additional tier, with a maximum of three individual stats.
  
  
• Because of their renown Warrior Status and Culture, the clan is taught specialized training in physical exercise and honing weapon skills. They receive a -15% word count reduction when training stats and and new weapon styles.
  

Drawbacks:

• The Koutei focus a lot more on non-elemental jutsu. They must take Hesitant Element without balance.
  
  
• The Koutei are very traditional in their way of learning and have hard time understanding more Unorthodox and Indirect forms of Jutsu. They are unable to learn Kugutsu, Fuinjutsu, and Genjutsu Specializations.
  
  
• The Koutei’s strong focus on on close quarters combat have hampered their effectiveness in defending and utilizing long ranged attacks. Dexterity interactions vs projectile weapons are 1 rank higher when targeting members of the Koutei clan. On top of this, thrown weapons utilized by the Koutei have the distance of a rank lower.
  
  
• The Koutei clan have specialized in one on one combat, leaving them lacking with dealing with Multiple enemies. They must take the One Track Mind special characteristic.
  
  
• They must be male.
