~ Theme Song ~

As the sunset faded, and the night began to rise, Kaito stood waiting in the rain. He was suppose to meet the others here tonight. Genin might not have been allowed on guard duty for the time being, but there were no rules saying they couldn't take a late night stroll. With Captain Momochi officially on medical leave, Kaito fully expected her to show herself as well. With any luck, Koryu and Yoshito would show up too, after all the three of them had spent a great deal of their day attempting to convince Aito Sensei to let them go with her to hunt the Raijū spirit.

Apparently, the wolf demon was named Aoimoku, and was known to be a local trickster spirit of legend. No one knew who had released it, or where it had been sealed away, but Captain Momochi had been able to make the creature bleed last night, so she remained convinced the beast could be killed. Kaito had remained skeptical however, since it was a demonic spirit after all, but there was always ways to banish such creatures, and if they could find out how it had been summoned in the first place, then they would surely be able to bind it once again.

Regardless of what the night would hold for the three genin and Captain Momochi, Kaito knew one thing, this would be the last night that Aoimoku would be allowed to run rampant across the outer defenses of the Hidden Mist village. No more of Kiri's valiant shinobi would be allowed to die by the Raijū and it's wolf hoards. From what Kaito could tell, the wolf demon had most if not all of the local wolf population under some sort of mind control jutsu, basically forcing them to fight and die just so Aoimoku could reveal in the mayhem she caused.

This could not be allowed to continue, and Kaito would do everything in his power to bring an end to this threat to the village and it's people. With the rain providing good luck, and good coverage for Kiri shinobi, Kaito was almost excited to get the show on the road. From the frist night and the mauling he had endured, to the witnessing of the death of a comrade last night, Kaito was beyond ready to take the fight to the source of the problem. There was still something nagging him in the back of his mind though, something that just didn't feel right about the whole situation.

Kaito's thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Captain Momochi, her shoulder was still wrapped up, though she seemed to be doing better since the full day of rest. "Early yet again Kaito, while your partners leave you to wait for them." Aito Sensei commented in her sing songy voice.

"Earlier than you, Captain Momochi, so you shouldn't be one to talk." Kaito offered with a grin as the older shinobi matched it with her own smirk.

"Aito Sensei, please. We're not on guard duty, and I'm not a squad captain  unless I'm on guard duty, so please just call me Aito Sensei." The Momochi jonin offered as she punched Kaito in the arm slightly.

Neither of the two shinobi had come dressed in their uniforms, and it was actually kinda odd to see Aito Sensei in anything other than a flak jacket. She wore a simple grey kimono with teal and silver trim. Her hair, which was normally held back by her headband was allowed to blow in the wind tonight, as her headband rested around her neck just above her collar bone. The tanto on her hip looked ceremonial, but Kaito had seen enough blades forged by his grandmother to know better. Aito Sensei was a shinobi of the Hidden Mist, all weapons would be deadly and of the utmost quality.

Kaito was wearing a black and blue kimono himself, his senbon in a pouch tied to the silk belt he had around his waist. Under the kimono, Kaito wore a set of black shirt and pants to keep the rain at bay. Hopefully, they wouldn't draw to much suspicion since they were dressed as civilians, despite both of them having their shinobi headbands on display. They would just have to wait for the other two to arrive before setting off to the location Aito Sensei had fought against the wolf demon last night. With any luck, she would be able to find a trace of blood from the creature and then they could start tracking the beast down.

Walking along late again apparently to meet up with Kaito and Koryu hopefully to catch the beast running amok along the borders. This beast was responsible for the death of seventeen shinobi and counting. Yoshito couldn't wrap his mind around such savagery. Was that white wolf the beast that everyone was talking about? The way it disappeared mid-flight last time the trio was here was awfully suspicious. When it caught Yoshi's eye he threw a kunai at it but its body phased out of existence before anything happened. The voice that followed was an ominous one that showed obvious signs of control. Yoshi continued walking as he came upon a bridge. His arm felt around his body to check for his ninja tools making sure not to forget them, he wasn't in a rush or anything although he was late. Suddenly within the blurry vision that rain would allow came a shadowy figure. The body had no discerning marks signifying who exactly it could be but as soon as it appeared it had flashed out of existence.

Yoshi rubbed his eyes as he couldn't believe what he just saw. Was that a ghost? It wouldn't be the first time he's encountered such things and it wouldn't be the craziest thing within the shinobi world. But it definitely caught the boy off-guard. Yoshi looked around leaning over the bridge's railing to see if it may be even left out in an unorthodox way. No such luck, it was definitely indescribable to the boy. Oh well, even spoopy things like that wouldn't deter him on his mission that Kaito signed him up for. What were friends for after all if not to engage themselves in dangerous missions even when they were explicitly told not to go? What a drag.

The golden reddish hue of the sun dropping below the line of sight was a beautiful thing. It also meant that night would soon follow and now Yoshi was in a rush. He picked up the pace and started running to the pre-arranged location that Kaito picked. Arriving to the area he would notice Kaito as usual but at the same time differently. He wore something different than he normally wore for missions, it would seem that Aito did the same. Her bust was much more appealing in the garb she adorned on this day. Delicious curves at her hips would sway the young boy's thoughts from the mission quickly when he walked up from behind the two. Yoshi, himself, came wearing much more simple clothing in comparison to his mates. Yoshi's pale blue hair would be flowing as usual but today he wore a dark navy blue compression shirt outlining his torso along with a large set of black sweatpants. Suddenly the demon wolf wasn't the main thing on his mind and who could blame him. This woman was beautiful, he just hadn't noticed it while her body was covered by the traditional Jonin flak jacket. Yoshi raised an eyebrow as his eyes did what he could only dream of what his hands could do.

But alas, his dreams would have to be put on hold. "Heyo, lookin' good Kaito." Yoshi's hand would raise bent at his elbow as he offered a greeting to his friend and his sensei with a smile. "Sorry I'm late, I ran into something weird on the bridge coming from my way." Yoshi's words clumsily fell from his mouth remember what happened last time he was late around and Aito came crashing in like thunder. This time would be different though, this wasn't an official mission he technically he could come whenever he wanted to as long as it was still relatively before they set off on their way. The boy began walking around in small circles waiting for Koryu to meet up with Aito, Kaito, and himself. He was seemingly impatient making his strides, his hand rested on his chin and it was apparently getting old to Aito and her never ending superiority to him.

'Hey cut that out you loser. You're making me dizzy' She screamed in a rather over the top manner.

"Hey I'll do what I want waiting for my friend okay!" Yoshito offered in an equally over the top manner. The two butted heads every time they had been around each other and this would be no different. Something about this woman put Yoshi off his game, not in the playboy sense but his normal judge of reading the room would just be different when this woman was around. And now that she was here, dressed in a much different way than before Yoshito simply couldn't control himself.

The sun had risen and fallen again. The majority of the day was spent watching Kaito attempt to convince Captain Momochi to allow the three genin to join her on her hunt for the white wolf. Koryu had done little to help but had offered words here and there. He’d already decided that whether the good Captain allowed it or not he was going to seek out that wolf and with a little luck the person that had summoned her. He couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take on such a menacing foe. As luck would have it it seemed that his partners from the night prior were of like mind. As such they had decided to meet in a particular place tonight. A place that Koryu would soon be upon in just a few moments.

As Koryu strided toward the meeting point his mind wandered. Who could have summoned the beast? What was their true purpose? He wondered if they might share similar goals to his own. Not that he’d share those goals while other Kirigakure shinobi were present. His plans for the future were his own only to be voiced to those that were of like mind, most likely other Kaguya who might see and understand his logic. Then again, his father and grandfather were somewhat out of the ordinary even by Kaguya standards. Perhaps, even his own clansmen might see fault in his ideals. Koryu shook the thoughts from his mind. This was no time to be thinking about the future, the present had far more pressing matters. Besides, he couldn’t see his own goals to fruition without first gaining the strength necessary to act on them.

Rain began to fall from the sky and Koryu sucked his teeth in response. While it might have been soothing to most Kirigakure shinobi it was an annoyance to him. It meant that his footing wouldn’t be as sure as he would have liked. He’d have to rectify this issue one day. Perhaps, clets of a sort would do the trick. He smirked at the idea but wouldn’t entertain it any further. He’d already come with a new jutsu at his disposal and he was eager to test it out against whatever villain awaited them. Luckily, however, rather than wearing his usual white gi and pants Koryu had opped for something a bit more stealthy. He’d have stuck out like a sore thumb in all that white and tonight seemed to call for something a bit more fitting. Thus, tonight Koryu wore a simple form fitting black tee shirt and a pair of black pants that hung just over a pair of black shinobi sandals. His white hair had been stuffed beneath a black wave cap as well. He didn’t want any bit of himself to shine in the moonlight. Not tonight.

It wasn’t much longer before he came upon his partners for the night. His eyes washed over the trio that awaited him. Was he late? If he was he hadn’t even realized it, nor did he really care. Confirmation of his lateness came from both Yoshito and Captain Momochi. The former being through his pacing, perhaps he was growing impatient. Koryu smiled at the thought. Just maybe he was as eager for battle as the young Kaguya was. The latter was a vocal announcement. ”Late to the party, eh?” Captain Momochi said in that sing songy way of hers. It was sometimes hard to tell if she was angry or not because of it.
”I’m not late, you’re late.” Koryu replied with a wide grin. ”So, now that I’m here we can be off then, yeah? I’m anxious to put my fist through something.” He said as he flexed his hands, balling them into fists and then letting them fall flat again.

Finally, everyone was gathered, though Yoshito and Aito Sensei seemed at each other's throats already, hopefully combat would change that. Kaito was equally enamored with the Kaguya fellow though, seeing him dressed in all black and how beautiful it made his pale skin look, Kaito wished Koryu had let his hair down so it could gleam in the moonlight. Luckily, Kaito was more practiced than Yoshito at keeping his emotions under control, and he simply nodded to Koryu as the genin approved. "Forgive me for overstepping Aito Sensei, but if you and Yoshito are done measuring your kunai, can we get moving? I shouldn't have to tell anyone here what will happen if the patrols catch us, best if we make our move before shift change and the sun has already set." Normally, it was easiest to enter a settlement as the guards switched shifts, but that would be too many people walking about for them to leave unnoticed, and with this current set of patrols leaning more toward the end of their shifts, they would be more likely to miss something after being on their feet for the last eight hours.

Aito Sensei gave Kaito a narrowed glance as she picked up on what he had been insinuating, but said nothing on the matter as she gather the three boys around her. "Alright, now I don't want you boys to use this against me in the future, but I'll show you where our patrols are the weakest." The Momochi spent the next three minutes explaining the layout of a couple patrol routes not far from their current position. She used a stick to draw a rough layout of the area in the mud, the cover of the tree overhead keeping the rain from washing the depiction from washing away. There was a small stream that came through the city they could get to without raising any suspicions on this side of the wall, then hold their breaths to swim until they were outside the village. They would have to be careful though, as there was a spot where two patrols met at a checkpoint on a small bridge over the stream. If they didn't time things right they would get caught.

Kaito snickered at the simplicity of it, though Aito Sensei was quick to point out the only flaw in the plan. There was a crate that blocked anyone from going in or out, though she also offered a solution. The soil and clay under the crate was reinforced with gravel, but if they all used a Water Release technique, the combined force should be enough to wash the gravel and clay out from under the crate and leave them with enough space to swim underneath. It would have been easier with Earth Release, and just getting the gravel and clay to move, but Kaito doubted anyone here knew the element. "Anyone here know Earth Release?" Kaito asked, hoping the process would be easier for them all.

"No, and before you ask I read your files, or did you boys think I would have agreed to go along with three genin if I hadn't already learned everything there was to know about the three of you?" Aito Sensei answered Kaito. "Now, let's get on the move then." The jonin overed before running off towards the stream. The would have to take a bit of a dip before actually getting to close to the wall, otherwise they would get caught before they managed to get to far. About two minutes later, the woman stopped the three of them. "Don't worry about needing to hold your breath, I got that covered." Aito Sensei spoke with a sly grin before weaving the Bird Hand Seal and stepping up to Kaito, tilting his chin upward to grant him a gentle kiss. Kaito knew this jutsu, or at least he'd seen if used before. Mermaid's Kiss, a technique that utilized Wind Release to grant someone the ability to breath under water for a limited time.

The beautiful Momochi woman would step up to each of the other two boys, offering them a kiss as well. Though Aito Sensei bared her teeth in a coy grin before lowering her head to kiss Yoshito. Seemed she was just hoping he'd protest so she could throw him in the river. Kaito didn't waste anytime though, and instead diving into the water as the others followed. Once all were underwater, Captain Momochi would also use a simple genjutsu technique to shield the four shinobi from the eyes of those that might seek them out. Kaito was relieved at this, because not even a few seconds later, a patrol officer peeked over the side of a bridge to see what the noise had been. They had to be quick about this.

The veins in the boy's forehead came bulging from underneath his skin from arguing with Aito sensei. The woman was infuriating. Was it that truly though? She was a very beautiful woman and Yoshito is a very young boy not knowing exactly how to deal with that properly. He could be exhibiting small signs of early puberty. The sound of a voice from behind even Yoshito had broken the awkward bickering between Aito and the young boy Yoshi. To which, the boy turned around completely away from the woman to Koryu and replied with a quick chuckle mostly to relieve himself from Aito. "Oh, we're late huh?" Yoshi began to jest to his friend when Kaito began to speak. Kaito broke apart the two with his words saying they should get moving before the next round of patrolling shinobi showed up. To that, Yoshito nodded and followed his and Aito's orders.

Yoshito watched as Aito sensei drew a crude representation of the Mist Village adding in places where the group of four should strike so to speak. Utilizing these weak points of the village it would allow the four of them to carry out their task with little to no defiance. The boy's eyes looked intently making out only the faint edges of the drawing that Aito sensei had done for the group due to the poor lighting but he caught the gist of their mission. The sound of rain plummeting on the mud around them would flood Yoshi's ears. He would just nod to Aito's instructions hoping he would get it right when the time came.

Then the first obstacle had made its presence. A crate whose intentions were to block off a path they needed to ensure the completion of their mission. If they didn't move this crate the whole plan would crumble apparently, it was one of the very limited areas that were available to them that weren't guarded by the patrolling shinobis. Yoshi scratched at his chin at the thought of what he could do for his team to resolve this problem with the least amount of attraction being drawn to them. Kaito offered a solution, earth release? Yoshi knew he didn't have the power to manipulate the earth but maybe Koryu had? He hadn't seen Kaito use the earth element but he could possibly have it hidden under his sleeve as a trump card should they spar again. He didn't even know Aito sensei very well, they had only met thrice and all three times she had been on Yoshi's ass like butter on a biscuit. He didn't know her limits as well as he knew his own.

Aito sensei said she picked the three of them for specific parts of this mission, apparently, this crate wouldn't be a problem. Yoshito's eyebrows rose at the thought of her reading his file among his other fellow shinobi. Yoshi didn't really have much to hide but not a lot of higher level shinobi respond well to refugees in their village and with the newly acquired knowledge of the Bloody Mist he wondered how the woman reacted to the facts of his mother. He wouldn't have too much time to think on this, however, as Aito had begun her movements without offering a solution to the crate, they were meant to just trust this woman and Yoshito would do just that. They came across the small stream they were meant to dive into and swim underneath to get there they needed to go. Aito sensei quickly said they need not worry about holding their breath and that she had it all under control. Yoshito's eyebrow would rise again at the sight of the woman making a singular hand sign and grabbing Kaito's chin to give him a gentle kiss.

Yoshito's cheeks blushed. His second kiss would happen. She went to move on to Koryu who would also receive the kiss allowing him to breathe underwater. Yoshi's kiss was quick, the woman's lips locked with Yoshi's and released as quick as they met. The boy then would follow Aito and the others inside the water. His eyes watched as Aito jumped into the water, her kimono lifting slightly giving him a quick hint at her panties. Or better yet, lack thereof, as he could feel a bulge coming from his pants. The fleeting glimpse left Yoshito's face redder than ever and in the attempt of hiding his member's apparent presence made him fall ungracefully in the river behind the group, he was seemingly the only one that had seen the event and it was a blessing indeed.

Finger’s curled tightly, the nails of which threatened to break the skin of palms. Already alabaster knuckles seemed to pale further under the tension. These fists were plagued by thirst, they begged for the blood of an enemy. They pleaded to find flesh and feast upon it. The blood that ran through them boiled with lust. Though the Kaguya warrior had been late, that was no indication of lessened desire for battle. It was in his blood to seek out combat. In fact, that had been the primary reason he’d chosen to accompany his fellow shinobi on this particular quest. There was little concern and far less care for what their foe had managed to accomplish, aside from wanting to witness such a beings strength first hand, and furthermore test his own against it. It could be said that a selfish lust of power be what sent Koryu out tonight to join the three that he now stood with.

The young man’s pale, colorless eyes danced across the faces that stood with him as their Captain Momochi spoke. Ironic that she’d asked that they not use the information she was going to grace them with against her at some later date. There would come a time when Koryu might be inclined to do just that. Though by the time such a thing came the information would more than likely be useless. Not that this thought crossed the boys mind in the moment. He was more concerned with getting on with things. Still, he listened intently. He’d not be the reason that they were caught and kept from their date with a monster.

Koryu remained silent as they began their journey. There had been mention of their first set of obstacles but it seemed that the good Captain was already well aware of what her young genin were capable of and thusly must have had a plan in mind. This became evident when she imparted upon the three a kiss that would allow them to breathe underwater. A kiss. It wasn’t until now that Koryu realized that this was the first he’d ever received. While it was true he’d been attracted to young women in the past, even had his fair share of crushes, by the time he was old enough to begin acting on and pursuing such interests the boys time was consumed by training and preparation for a destiny he was yet unaware of. As such, though try as he might, the youngster’s cheeks flourished a brilliant crimson with embarrassment. This only served as further cause to remain silent as the foursome approached the river that would be their point of egress.

The Captain again facilitated their exit by means of a genjutsu that rendered them invisible to the guards that patrolled the area. Following behind Kaito and the Captain, Koryu slipped into the water, and behind him Yoshito ungracefully broke the waters surface like a clumsy giraffe. Koryu could only imagine what had caused such an unseemly mistake. Whatever it was, it was unimportant for the time being. Soon they would be upon the crate which blocked their escape route. When they had arrived at the said impasse, Koryu moved forward to inspect the thing. Perhaps, one of his few jutsu could be useful. Which was the question that seemed unanswerable, however. He assumed that merely destroying the crate was not an option that could be acted on as it might draw attention to the group. Thusly, he search the ground beneath the crate. It was soft and as Kaito had thought would have easily been moved had any of them posed the proper jutsu to do so.

Thoroughly defeated by the problem, Koryu fell back a bit. He wasn’t in possession of any jutsu that would truly be useful in this moment. Yes, he could dismantle the earth beneath the crate or perhaps even the crate itself with a punch, but would that truly be the smartest thing to do? He considered the prospect for a moment and thought better of it. He couldn’t be sure that he wouldn’t alert those that he and his band were attempting to avoid. Then again, he wouldn’t mind fighting off a few of his fellow shinobi as a bit of a warm up. Koryu’s fist flexed. No, no, that wouldn’t do. It would only cause more trouble than it was worth.

The water was cold, as one might expect since water was always cooler than the air around it, with the raining and nip on the breeze, it made sense the shallow stream was cold, though not enough so that the Kiri-nin risked hypothermia. Only a few minutes after they had begun down the stream, they reached the grate, luckily there was no patrol to worry about just yet so they could let loose with a couple jutsu to make their way past the metal grate blocking their way. Kaito would need to learn whatever technique Aito Sensei had used so they would all be able to breath, something as useful as that could keep the Kiri-nin alive in future, should they ever need to move about underwater.

Captain Momochi turned to them and formed the Dog Hand Seal as she held her hands forward, as if to make sure everyone knew the plan. Kaito had a another thought though, twirling around in the water so he could look toward Yoshito, the older genin made the Tiger Hand Seal so common in Ice techniques, other than just moving the dirt and gravel, the young Yuki should possess the ability to freeze the water around the grate to warp the metal and pull it off its hinges. Captain Momochi made the okay hand gesture as an approval of the idea, seemingly reading the young Osoroshi's mind. Failing the Ice Release Kekkei Genkai, both Captain Momochi and Kaito would be ready to let loose with multiple Water Release jutsu, Gunshot and Trumpet among them.

Once dealt with one way or the other, Aito Sensei would be the first through the opening, allowing the others to pass through as well once she knew the coast was clear. Now that they were past the grate, the water was slightly more shallow, though the riverbed showed clear signs of manual construction, having been modified to be a singular depth and width all along the remaining part of the stream, likely meant to make it easier to see into and find those attempting to escape or gain entry. The bridge was much closer to them on this side of the wall, but that just meant it wouldn't take as long to get far enough away that they could exit the stream. A few more minutes, and Aito Sensei motioned for them to stop, before she stuck her head out of the water, turning around a couple times before motioning for the three genin to follow her out of the water.

They were in a part of the forest Kaito had never seen, a couple old worn down buildings could be seen between the overgrowth, clearly no longer in use. Aito Sensei seemed to be on guard now, no longer as friendly as before, she was behaving like a shinobi now, and that caused Kaito to reach for a handful of senbon just in case something happened. "I was told you three saw the Raijū last night, I apologize for that, I wasn't able to kill the creature in time." Aito Sensei gave them all a weak smile, clearly the perceived failure weighed heavily on her. Kaito had been able to to object, but the jonin cut him off rather quickly. "No, I'm a patrol captain, the deaths of those that have fallen prey to this demon are on me. I failed to realize the threat for what it was the first night, and by the second I wasn't able to track the beast down. I'm sure I don't have to say about last night." Aito Sensei spoke softly, rolling her injured shoulder. Kaito couldn't help but remember what it'd felt like to be mauled by a normal wolf, he couldn't imagine the pain a demonic version would instill.

Looking around again, Kaito noticed a hint of blood on a nearby tree, the breeze shifted and the smell of death wafted over to the group of shinobi slowly. A battle had taken place here, recently. "I take it this is where you faced the Raijū Sensei? What can you tell us then?" Kaito asked, he'd already looked up everything he could find on such creatures. Demonic spirits that took on the form of either a blue or white wolf, almost always skilled in advanced forms of Lightning Release. With that in mind, since everyone here, and near every shinobi in Kirigakure no Sato, used Water Release as their primary element, this was likely to be a very difficult battle for them all.

"The creature is most vulnerable when in it's lightning form, but that's also when it's the most deadly. Water Release techniques won't effect her in the form, but if you can get her wet before she transforms, hopefully she'll electrocute herself." Aito Sensei said with a disheartened look on her face. "Otherwise, physical attacks should work. Remember, this creature might be a demonic spirit, but it's riding in the flesh and blood of a wolf. If we can deal enough damage to kill the creature, and there are no living wolves in the area, the spirit won't be able to do anything. From there, we seal it away." It wasn't a whole lot for them the take confidence in, but if Aito Sensei had already faced the creature, then Kaito would trust her not to lead them astray.

With that in mind, Kaito began to move forward, forming the Dog Hand Seal to weave chakra into the form of water, covering his hands and forearms in the process. A simple defensive technique, and one that would likely prove less than effective against a creature which used lightning chakra, but it was still a means of defending himself. With the obvious threat of the creature lurking about in an unknown location, Kaito wasn't willing to be risked off guard, even with the obvious weakness his suiton based jutsu had when it came to lightning release techniques, it would still mitigate some of the damage he would otherwise receive without it.

It wasn't until they had past into the treeline, coming up from the riverbed, that the howls began to call out around them. So far, nothing could be seen lurking in the distance, but it was still doubtful there was nothing there. The loose fog hanging in the air like a lazy spectator, almost waiting to see what would happen next. To most it might feel oppressive, but to a Mist Shinobi like Kaito Osoroshi, the fog was an advantage if used correctly, and a comfort if left alone. It wasn't yet thick enough to be used alongside the various mist techniques Kaito had learned so far, and he doubted his fellow genin had the means of utilizing such a mist to their advantage as he could, so Kaito pushed that bothersome thought out of his mind.

The only thing that came to mind that would give them an upper hand was bubblegum ninjutsu Kaito had been working on. Kaito had already devised a technique where he could litter the battlefield with chakra infused bubbles formed from the use of gum, if they came into contact with someone, they would make a loud popping sound to alert anyone nearby as well as disoriante anyone close enough to set them off. Of course, these bubblegum mines wouldn't cause any lasting harm, but they would both allow Kaito and his allies to know if someone or something was trying to sneak up on them, as well as give them a chance to attack the creature while it was reeling from the painfully concussive sound.

Upon entering the water Yoshito realized how cold it was as his body shivered slightly. Inaudibly, the boy thought of the word “brr”. He stayed behind following the group in the surprisingly clear water, his eyes darted to each of them watching Captain Momochi thinking back to his lucky sighting. The corners of his mouth curled into a sheepish smile as he relished in thoughts of pervertedness but then his young mind also thought of how sick it was. He felt dirty even though he was submerged in water and that caused his smile to turn to a straight face. He shook his head and was surprised by the sudden stop everyone had done due to the young boy not paying attention to his surroundings. He tapped his head as though making himself concentrate, this mission was dangerous and he couldn’t afford to be caught off guard from his own incompetence. Yoshito watched Koryu swim closer to the crate that Aito mentioned before. Koryu couldn’t come up with anything after a few minutes of examining it and its surroundings. There was seemingly nothing he could do shrugging his shoulders.

Next up was Yoshito moving forward to examine it. The thought before was that they would use water jutsu all combined together to forcefully move the crate out of the way creating safe passage but it might not have had to be that complicated. Yoshito’s hands moved along the corners of the crate doing a further investigation than Koryu had done before him, he felt small pockets of air pushing water through the tight crevices. He had an idea. Yoshi swam behind Kaito and Aito to make his plan come to fruition and when he noticed Kaito make the Tiger Hand Seal Yoshi stopped. Was he going to do something? Did he have the ability to make ice just as Yoshi does? No that’s not possible, Kaito would have shown such ability by now. Yoshi moved closer to the crate and on his way the boy would put his hands on Kaito as if to say he’s got this. When the boy got within touching distance of the big crate he put his hands on it surging his chakra through his digits. With that being done, the water around the edges of the crate began changing color and the temperature around them would suddenly drop exponentially at a fast rate. What once was water was now ice.

Yoshi moved out of the way with the weight of his legs pushing his body and when he moved to safety Aito and Kaito released a water jutsu to give the crate a push. Bubbles no doubt escaping to the surface due to the speed of which the crate moved creating air pockets that formed into bubbles. Hopefully no one would notice and think too much about it. Yoshi motioned for the group to go through as Aito went first. Her curvy body swimming through gracefully as Yoshi’s eyes moved with every curve trying to not make it obvious. He was the last one out. Once through the water Yoshito noticed the depths of this stream was much shorter than it previously was. It was a curious thing indeed but he didn’t think too much about it. The boy simply followed his crew down stream with Aito in the lead. The water was clear and they were much closer to the surface but hopefully the rain dropping into the water would make it difficult for any passerbys or patrolling guardsmen to see clearly through the water. It was almost dispicable for Kiri nin to use the village’s own water to sneak through and defy direct orders but after everything happened Yoshi couldn’t let Kaito go alone with only one team mate. It was far too dangerous for everyone not to follow suit and be together.

Suddenly Aito stopped her movements and shot her fist upward in sight for everyone to see. They stopped along with their jounin escort and Yoshi watched as she popped her head slightly above the water, he noticed her body move slightly giving away that she was turning her head from side to side scanning the area as if she was making sure the area was clear of unwanted eyes. Then after a moment or two, the Momochi woman made a gesture under the water for the genin to follow her above the water. Yoshito was the last to get out and only caught some of what Captain Momochi was saying. Water dripped from his body as he stood erect along with his fellow comrades. Yoshi shook his body violently to try and get the overflowing of water off of his body for no reason due to the rain but nonetheless, he still attempted at drying his body off, it was just uncomfortable to be soaking in water from inside and out of his clothes.

“So” Yoshi paused for dramatic effect, “Just get the damn thing wet before it goes all lightbulb-y, got it Momochi.” The boy said giving a thumbs up and a smile that was almost too big for his face. “What about my ice? That should be able to do something right?” Yoshi then questioned Aito, she seemed to know the most about this Raiju demon thing so she would be the reference point for any question he may have.
