Verdandi
D-rank
Verdandi was in various tutoring sessions after the suna incident. Moving from one Genin student to the next. Sometimes sneaking in a little personal sparing time with auntie Ayakashi. Squeezing in eventual dates and well, things you do when you get around to be eighteen. Spending time with her Squad. Visiting friends. Taming dragons. Staying in contact with all the newfound people from her suna adventures and trying hard to remain somewhat active at taking aunties priority missions. Verd was swamped. Too many things up her mind at once. So, she simply decided to drop everything else and do whatever makes fun today. Having heard that her elusive cousin was in town. Verd would make her way to his accommodation and sneak in a little paper bird past his window. Chuckling as she quickly vanished among the roofs of Kiri again. Letting the bird like message fly around the tight corners of Buri's window and eventually trying to splat itself against his cheek. If he dared to read what's actually in the paper. It'd be scented with a lilac cherry smell that he might recognize from a certain mission in suna. Or not. However, the paper, if unrolled had a simple message.
"I'm going to whoop your butt! Hah just kidding. I'm at the training grounds today. Heard you were around for a bit. Come and show me some tricks! Those suicide thingies were rad last time! Pretty please? I'll even call you senpai again."
The words were simple and the invitation was clear. Verd was fully geared with her ANBU armor and katana. Moving through the woods of the training grounds. Cutting some trees apart with her flawless blade. Seemingly wondering if it still counted as training if you had a katana that basically cuts through everything like paper. It was still fun to use the legendary weapon. She however had to spend a lot of time to hone it, polish it, oil and clean it after each use. Having had various instructions from the local smith as to how to treat the blade in order to retain its sharpness forever. Considering it was probably over a hundred years old. Verd had little worries in it being able to really break on her. Not while fighting against stickmen and trees. Potentially the man she invited would give the blade a proper opponent for once. In case he really showed up. Not that she expected him to chicken out on her. He was a rather busy butt. He could just as well ditch Verd for a mission or otherwise more important stuff. Big cousins were after all supposed to lead as examples. Ayakashi had continuously warned Verd that he was a dangerous one. Dandi was however completely ignorant to any of such talk. Having only one thing in mind. Being able to spar and play with an elder clansman and able to learn something from him. Days like these were the simplest and happiest for Verd. Even when Buri usually preferred to be a bit of a grumpy butt.
