Kisei
B-rank
Kisei sighed weakily at the sight of the slightly worse for wear slums. While they had been glassed a bit during the attack it wasn't in the direct line of sight nor did it get in the way or try to avert to crisis so they remained largely unscathed. It was a humbling site, to see that this was all that survived such a terrorfying assault. Kisei recalled the former Kage's words, "The slums are the worst of what the Sunagakure was to offer."
The Ushinatta sighed again, now this place was the only thing left of his home. When he had been forcefully exodized, when he was forced to move to the Konohagakure he had heard stories of the deteriorating state of his beloved home. In all honesty Kisei should have been able to piece together the puzzle. But, it's hard to judge a place like the Sunagakure too much when your last home was hell. Kisei quietly sat down against one of the sandstone walls trying to suppress those memories. The sad, the happy, the terrible. Alpha had been the best he could, single handedly keeping Kisei and others under his watch safe from the brunt of the chaos of the real world. But he knew, Kisei knew as well. In that world, in that time and place, death and chaos walked among humanity. By the age of six, Kisei knew what it meant when a person went to sleep, and never woke up.
He had hoped that this place would be different, and it was, the people here looked actually alive. They were happy even when the conditions around then weren't ideal. But, turns out humanity is just as flawed here as it was back there. It just wasn't as noticeable beyond the smiles, full bellies and handsome ninja.
The Ushinatta was snapped out of his stupor by the sounds of dull metal clashing from inside one of the buildings. Kisei ignored it, passing it off on a dropped item. Then it happened again, and again, a third time. Each discordant screech assaulted his ears. Eventually he couldn't just stand by. Something suspicious could be going on. Kisei reached need to him for his umbrella, his pinwheel already strapped around his back. Heading inside one of the hollow buildings.
As he got closer, the sound got louder, sending chills up his spine with each echoing clash. The ninja stopped around one corner, the sounds emanating just a few steps away from him. Deftly switching his umbrella to his right hand before intercepting.
As he turned around the corner he questioned. "Now do you mind keeping it down, some of us rather our midday siesta not be interrupted."
