Tenjin
D-rank
The sun had just started to rise as Tenjin stretched his arms and got out of bed. It was the end of the week, which normally meant he would take a break from training and enjoy life; however, since Tenjin got promoted to chunin, his whole schedule had changed. Now he trained whenever and wherever he felt like it, as he didn't have to stick to a strict team based schedule. Tenjin wanted to improve his reaction time. He had read up on using one's chakra to increase his or her speed and in doing so, one’s reaction time, and it was a commonly used jutsu at the higher levels of combat. Apparently, by focusing one's chakra into his legs, Tenjin could dramatically increase his speed for a hyper-quick approach. Known as the Body Flicker Technique, this jutsu was one of the most basic but also one of the most widely used jutsu for all shinobi, especially those at the top levels of combat. This was one of the first real ninjutsu techniques Tenjin learned. He saw it as a sign of achieving a new level of mastery, one where he could see himself utilizing as a mid level shinobi at the very least.
Tenjin hopped out of bed and into the shower. He didn't spend much time at all in the shower, but did lay out his training regimen for the day while washing himself. He wanted to run for at least 20 minutes, but he wanted to do an interval type training. This way, he would be able to practice his Body Flicker in 1 minute sprints, and then go slower at his normal physical pace for 2 or 3 minutes in between before attempting the jutsu again. This type of training, as Tenjin had researched, was one of the most effective ways of building stamina and speed, so Tenjin set out to try it once he got out of the shower. After drying himself off, Tenjin threw on some loose training clothes before heading out. It was still pretty dark out, but it would only be a few minutes before the rising sun dawned over the village of Iwagakure no sato.
Tenjin slipped into his black kung fu boots and quietly slipped out of the house. He began to jog, regulating his breathing appropriately, down to the training grounds. Tenjin always made sure to make good use of his time in transit from his house to the training grounds. After jogging at about half speed for 2 minutes, Tenjin decided to use the jutsu. Focusing the chakra in his legs, Tenjin released it at once to attempt a burst of speed as he had read and seen. Tenjin had only ended up getting a tiny burst of chakra that propelled him a couple of steps forward. Tenjin was more confident in his training and he continued his jog. ‘Hmm, I guess I should gather more chakra this time, I'll have to try again.’ Tenjin thought eagerly to himself. A couple of minutes passed and Tenjin sought to attempt the jutsu again. This time, Tenjin focused even harder on getting the chakra into his legs, and releasing it all at once for the burst of speed.
To his surprise, upon releasing all the built up chakra in his legs, Tenjin was launched forward by leaps and bounds. This was not the result he wanted, however. Instead of increasing his speed, the shinobi had essentially just propelled himself using his chakra like a jump instead of a movement enhancement. Tenjin hit the ground running and jogged for a little while longer before looking to try once more. Ok, so maybe I shouldn't try releasing it all at once this time. ‘That amount of chakra seemed right, but perhaps instead of trying to release the chakra, I should slowly trickle and disperse it through my legs to speed up my leg muscles and movement. That way it'll still be under my own power instead of leaving my body to the mercy of the environment around me and the sudden increase in speed from flying through the air like a human projectile.’ Tenjin thought to himself as he started to gather chakra into his legs once more.
This time, instead of burst releasing his chakra, Tenjin tried to create a steady stream of release through his legs, speeding up his movement and reaction time ever so slightly. Tenjin could feel himself getting faster, but it still was not that much faster than his maximum normal speed. Tenjin began to pour more and more chakra in, and before he knew it, he was almost gliding along the ground. Tenjin had nearly doubled in his speed when he immediately cut off his chakra flow to his legs. The sudden shift in speed caused him to stumble and fall forward, tumbling head over heel into a tree that he had tried to stop himself from colliding with. Tenjin had his back against the tree and his body upside down, resting entirely on his head. A bit dizzy but not hurt, Tenjin kicked off the tree and flipped back onto his feet, seemingly drunkenly stumbling and almost falling over once again. Tenjin vigorously shook his head to snap back into it and dusted off his clothes by patting them with his hands. The boy simply looked up the tree to observe the birds and squirrels who were not too happy by the sudden disturbance. One squirrel even took to throwing the shells of acorns it was eating at the young chunin. This ws rather comical and Tenjin admitted this to himself. After getting pelted on the head by a half a dozen or so acorns, Tenjin indignantly left the shade of the tree and walked to the center of the training grounds. Sure he had figured out how to train utilizing the body flicker, but now that he had finally gotten to the training grounds, the training was only just beginning.
Tenjin walked over to the tree stump he had made practically his own by scarring it with kicks and blows to either side from a training session a time before, and prepared to practice his Taijutsu again. Tenjin cracked his knuckles and his neck, and mentally prepped himself to begin his physical training session. Letting out an aggressive yell while pulling his arms tight to either side with his fists clenched and arms bent at the hip, Tenjin struck the front of the stump with a quick right straight punch, and then delivered an identical follow up with his left hand. The young chunin nodded to himself in satisfaction and quickly decided on how hard his training regimen would be for today. He wanted to start off the week strong, so Tenjin decided that he would go extra hard. He had originally wanted to learn two new techniques over the course of this training, but Tenjin was "hardcore" and he wanted to prove how quickly he could learn and develop himself, so the techniques are second to his physical and mental training Tenjin decided he would learn the two jutsu today in the next 12 hours before trainings end. It would be extremely difficult, but Tenjin had already set his mind on this endeavour. The two jutsus are strong techniques, the Repulsion Technique and a sensory type Seismic Wave Sensing. Both were higher level techniques, especially when compared to the ones he had learned as a genin, however Tenjin was confident that his body was up for the task.
Tenjin was astonished at how fast he was improving. Just last week he could barely do 100 consecutive kicks, yet now he was already at 500 punches but hadn't even broken a sweat. Tenjin figured that he'd improve quickly once school was out of the way, but this shattered all expectations for him. After he performed his 500 punches over roughly 10 minutes, Tenjin went to go fetch his water bottle from his bag. Strangely, it was missing. Tenjin was certain he had brought it which made it all the more confusing. Just then, while he was crouching over his bag, looking for his missing water bottle, a shuriken whizzed by the back of Tenjin's head and embedded itself in the tree stump Tenjin had been punching and training against for the last month. A shinobi who appeared to be a Genin like Tenjin once was, stood only 10 meters away from Tenjin. "Hey! Watch where you throw those things! Someone could get seriously hurt!" Tenjin scolded. "You're in my training spot! Only me and my friends are allowed to train here. Beat it loser!" the Genin would respond.
"I already drank all your water, so now you'll be forced to leave soon," the ninja continued. Tenjin replied, "I'm not leaving MY spot. I've trained here before and this is an opened training ground kid. You have no right to claim a public training spot. But if it's a fight you want, I'll be sure not to disappoint!" The Genin, and Tenjin rushed at each other, eventually locking into a grappling war in the middle. Tenjin was obviously stronger, but was trying to train thus he felt the need to equal this shinobis strength in order to practice his tactics. So both appeared fairly even in strength, but Tenjin noticed he was slightly faster than this other ninja as well, and probably smarter to match. The two exchanged kicks and blocks with their shins and knees while locked in the center several times before Tenjin pushed away to create some space. As soon as he did that, the genin drew a kunai from a toolbag strapped conveniently to his right thigh and began to approach again. Tenjin's eyes widened when he saw the weapon drawn, and immediately sidestepped the first lunge, landing a backhanded punch across the genin's face. In the moment, the young genin was struck, he swung his knife upward at Tenjin's face, forcing Tenjin to stumble backward immediately to avoid getting cut. The genin appeared almost unharmed from the hit. And he attempted this time to slash across Tenjin's chest, and Tenjin took a small step backward to avoid it, jumping back even further to create some distance so he could pull his own kunai out. While Tenjin was in midair however, the shinobi followed up with a flying kick that seemed to hit full speed out of almost nowhere. "Dynamic Entry!" the ninja cried out as he launched his full speed kick at Tenjin's upper body. Tenjin attempted to block it by crossing his arms in front of his face, but the impact knocked him over anyway.
The young genin landed on his feet and tried to run up and kick Tenjin in the face while he was down. However, Tenjin quickly managed to react and did a spinning kick to sweep the kids legs out from underneath him, causing him to lose his balance and spin out with all his momentum into the training tree stump. Tenjin got up to his feet in the same motion as the kick, quietly saying, "Repulsion Technique!" By expelling a great amount of chakra from their palm, Tenjin produced a strong repulsive force, great enough to be able to break bones with concussive force and push targets, even at a distance. Tenjin held back a great deal, but the adrenaline made it so that it appeared as if he has utilized this technique before, seeing the kid get dragged away by the energy. The young genin was dizzy and tried to get steady as he got up from the attack, stumbling a bit along the way. The kid felt a bit embarrassed for falling for something so simple, and was quickly back on his feet and on the offensive. Once again, his attack was very linear, a simple lunge forward at Tenjin with the kunai. This time, Tenjin dodged and punched the wrist of the hand holding the kunai, causing the young gnin to drop his weapon. Another obvious response, Tenjin ducked to avoid the inevitable left hitmaker. It was apparent to Tenjin that this kid had never been in a real fight before because he simply didn't adapt. Tenjin rolled around behind the kid and crouched to initiate another attack. Putting his hand in the kids back with an opened palm, Tenjin launched his full body weight into his thrust for a repeat of the last technique. "Repulsion Technique!" Tenjin would proudly exclaim, launching the young genin into the air and forward a few meters. Sore and embarrassed the young genin slowly got up and reached around to where the point of impact had been. He looked like he was on the verge of tears, and without saying another word, he scrambled away to let Tenjin continue on with his training.
Turning back to the stump now that the young genin had fled, Tenjin prepared to work on more of his taijutsu maneuvers. Stretching his legs which he had failed to do prior to his fight, Tenjin thought about what had just transpired. A guy came, drank his water, told him to leave, and then when he was soundly defeated, and whimpered away. He definitely needs the training. After a solid few minutes of stretching his quadriceps and hamstrings, Tenjin set his sights on the training block. In order to get the proper power, according to the Sencho scroll Tenjin had read, Tenjin needed to have absolutely perfect form and chakra control to be able to utilize the particle release. This meant he would need to lock and hyper extend his knee when he kicked, but he would also have to be as low to the ground as possible in order to push off with the maximum possible force. Tenjin slowly eased his way into the stance, extending his leg so that it would be as straight as possible. Since Tenjin was young and flexible, this proved to be rather simple. Once he was in that position, however, Tenjin could see no way he could manage to get the power he would need to force another person high into the air, even with chakra involved. It barely had any knockback power as it was, adding chakra to magnify that would be trivial at best. Tenjin referred back to the sencho scroll which he had on him. Thankfully, the young genin had only stolen his water. It seemed as though that his current role wasn't to just hit the opponent, but to transform the body into a human spring. He had to push off the ground as he launched his attack upward. The form was tricky, but eventually Tenjin managed to pull off some semblance of the training technique with a little bit of power behind it. Another tricky part of the training was to be able to launch the target at a near perpendicular angle to the ground. Tenjin used the stump as a support beam to try to get himself comfortable with the degree of the angle that Tenjin needed to complete the training. Then, he moved away from the stump to try it on his own. After many attempts over the course of two hours, Tenjin managed to finally get the result he was looking for. The high angle, the spring and rebound off the ground, the needed force to launch his target, he had it all. All he was missing was the addition of chakra and a target to practice on.
Tenjin found a loose hollow log that was only about 3 feet in length, and found that it would be a decent target to practice on. Tenjin picked it up and tossed it high into the air, positioning himself underneath it so that he would be able to strike it at the appropriate time. The first time Tenjin tried to attack a target while in the air, he completely whiffed and the log fell beside him. It kind of reminded Tenjin of trying to catch grapes or popcorn in his mouth - a stupid little talent he had no ability at. Tenjin tried again and again, progressively getting closer to positioning himself correctly, but still not entirely hitting the mark. Finally, on around the 30th time, Tenjin managed to correctly get himself directly under the log. As soon as the log was about to reach head height, Tenjin ducked into the right posture and sprung his body upward with his powerful soaring kick. Instead of the log going up, however, it simply shot slightly outward. Tenjin attempted again, this time correcting his positioning and angle until the log was launched almost straight upward, to the point that Tenjin had to start rolling away to avoid getting injured by the falling log. Satisfied, Tenjin was ready to attempt incorporating chakra. It was already well past noon, and Tenjin was getting hungry, so he wanted to make this quick and clean. He tossed the log up one final time, and this time Tenjin used all his leg and body strength, focused his chakra into his leg, and released it all at once. The instant his right leg hyperextended, he released all the pent up chakra out of the sole of his foot into the log. The log went flying at least 30 feet into the air, its silhouette eclipsing the sun. Tenjin had enough time to flip over on his stomach in a push up ready position and leap away before the log had even reached its peak height. Simply leaping out of the way, Tenjin walked over to his backpack to get his packed lunch. After pulling out his lunch, the log finally came crashing down to earth with a loud thud and the crackle of wood splitting. The log was still intact, but a small crack had formed at one of the lips of it.
Tenjin took the moment to just relax. It was almost 2 pm and Tenjin had already finished two thirds of his training for the entire day. The last thing he wanted to master before dinner was the Seismic Wave Sensing. This would ideally require him to use his sensing technique, but first he needed to further train his physically body for combat, so to practice Tenjin would just be tossing the log up and appearing underneath and behind it.
Tenjin opened his lunch box to reveal a large serving of white rice and three small pieces of shrimp shumai, assorted vegetables, and a roll of sushi. He had packed it the night before and it was still amazing, as if he just made it. When he tried, he’s a really good chef. Tenjin shoveled down the shumai almost instantly, thinking about his training and his rate of growth. At this rate, he would become a top level shinobi in only a couple of years or so, he predicted. Maybe even faster. It was astounding the rate at which he was constantly improving, and it was only a matter of time before he started taking some B rank missions and gaining some notice for his actions. Tenjin vowed to become a special jounin within the next 6 months. He wasn't going to be some run of the mill shinobi, and all the best shinobis moved up the ranks very quickly. Usually if you couldn't make it to the top by the time you were in your early 20s, the potential to be the best simply wasn't there. It held true for many things, and Tenjin wanted to make it clear that he knew he had that potential. Of course, the other difficulty was finding the right environment. Often potential is only truly tapped with the right teachers and the right environment that's conducive to learning quickly. If he only surrounded himself with mediocre talent, there was only so fast Tenjin could improve.
Tenjin started on the sushi roll next. It sucked not having water to drink. His mouth was getting dry from the soy sauce he had drowned his sushi in, and he didn't have any water around that he was sure was safe to drink. He would likely have to head back into town to pick up another water bottle. Damn, that that genin really was troublesome to my training. At least I got to humble him in the end. What a pain, Tenjin thought, as he consumed the assorted vegetables just as fast as the other food items. He simultaneously ate the rice too. In a matter of only 5 minutes, the whole box was empty, but Tenjin was still thirsty. Putting the lid back on the box and putting everything back in his bag, Tenjin exited the training grounds to go get a bottle of water. The training grounds had started to get more crowded now as the afternoon rolled by, and it was sure to be even livelier when he returned because school would be let out. He only planned to be gone for 5 minutes while he purchased his bottle of water.
Exiting the training grounds, Tenjin would be greeted by the sounds of civilians going about their daily tasks. Everyone seemed to be doing as they were told to by the decree of the council as they will be announcing the new Tsuchikage. It was an exciting time, but to Tenjin it was just another day of training in Iwagakure to become powerful enough to fight alongside this new kage. Tenjin silently vowed that he would help end this plague of disobedience in the land of stone one day, as he always did whenever he felt uncomfortable in his own village. He believed the village only had two jobs: to protect the people, and to make the people happy. The council seemed to only believe in the first one, which they did very well, even Tenjin had to admit it. However, the people were miserable, and it didn't even seem like the council wanted an honest, educated, and friendly populace. It was ghoulish. Tenjin turned to a nearby stall and grabbed a large liter of water, and paid accordingly.
After purchasing his water, Tenjin would take a large waterfall of it and gulp it down. He proceeded to slowly make his way back to the training grounds, where he would continue to learn his new advanced sensory technique, but not before an intense physical training. Training in Iwagakure was always difficult. The environment was not very friendly, with the mountain ranges but at least it built a great amount of toughness and drive, which Iwagakure shinobi are certainly used to. On his way back, he was tempted to drift off, but he remained resolved to, at the very least, finish his training first.
It would only be a short walk and Tenjin would be back in the dreadful training grounds. The stench was never very welcoming, although grass and fresh water were still available, the many signs of sweat and hard work that had been associated with the village still lingered. Tenjin made his way back to his training stump, and there was no sign of the genin anywhere. Nevertheless, Tenjin wanted to make sure this was the case. Utilizing his earth elemental capabilities, Tenjin put his finger on the ground and closed his eyes to focus. This was the Seismic Wave Sensing. Tenjin must have direct contact with the earth to utilize this technique. When a target steps on the earth, it generates seismic waves which radiates away from the point in which the target stepped, like waves in a pond. Because the waves also travel downwards through the earth, underground techniques are also detectable. If a shinobi is on a rock, or any other natural surface (not including trees), they will also be sensed as it will create an elastic wave in the earth's surface that propagates away from the source at fast speeds. The possibility of a shinobi sensing utilizing this method depends upon the nature of the wave, and thus the elastic properties of the Earth. As you go deeper into the Earth, the density and pressure increases and so does the velocities of seismic waves, meaning it is much easier to pinpoint shinobi underground.
This is not a chakra sensing technique and because it relies on the earth's surface elasticity, if a shinobi is on the air, or in/on water, eventually the wave will cease to grow and will slow down and stop, making them undetectable to this technique. The size or magnitude of the wave increases with how much shinobis are within the techniques range, letting the user of this technique sense the exact amount of shinobi present. Because a shinobi can detect and measure these vibration waves with pin point accuracy and at a great distance, one can determine the shinobis height(s) and weight(s) and direction of movement if moving. With that said, Tenjin didnt sense that shinobi anywhere around the sensory range.
Okay, last on the list... is the continuation of his physical training session, this training is typically used as a follow up session to the beginning half of his workout. However, if he really wants to start with this training, he actually could do it. First he need to practice the motions without any objects, then he'll start tossing the log, and finally he'll start it up with some continuous attacks on the object. This should be a piece of cake, Tenjin thought.
Tenjin first practiced by getting his angle of approach to be parallel to the ground. He practiced jumping over and over again, trying to go as high and as far as possible, and then angling his body midair to be parallel to the ground, mimicking what an opponent who had just been knocked up into the air would be like. Next, Tenjin began to play with the speeds. Different masses of people would be sent at different arcs, so Tenjin had to prepare to be ready to completely match their speed, height, and fall. Each time, Tenjin would jump, sail through the air for a short time at varying heights, and then complete a flip to land on his feet, then jump back the other way and repeat the process. Tenjin repeated this process for at least an hour without using a target. He had to make sure he didn't collide with the object, but he also had to be able to strike them as well. Everything needed to be perfect in order to pull off the training flawlessly and to appear as though he had become a perfect taijutsu master.
It was almost 5 pm when Tenjin first attempted to use a target. Picking up the somewhat damaged log from earlier, Tenjin chucked it into the air, mostly vertically as though it had been kicked straight up. Tenjin's first attempt ended with him jumping straight into the log. Tenjin adjusted his spacing and power accordingly and tried again, and again, and again, progressively getting closer and closer to having the correct spacing so he could strike without colliding mid jump with the log. In just fifteen minutes, Tenjin had mastered that spacing and it was time to finally attempt it with a kick. Tenjin picked up the log once more and threw it into the air, striking it with a more energetic kick on its way down. Tenjin immediately flipped onto his stomach in a push up position and leaped into the air, flawlessly executing his ttack. Tenjin then grappled the log from below and tossed it into the ground, leaving it sticking out, half submerged.
Tenjin wanted to finish up his training session, since he still had about a half hour before 7 pm rolled around and he would have to go home for dinner, with a series of drills he had devised. First, Tenjin had to perform 500 alternating left and right punches, working on his speed especially to make sure they were as fast and as crisp as possible. Once he had finished that, Tenjin went on to do 75 pushups. If he couldn't finish all 75 after having done his 500 punches, he would do as many as possible and then do 400 sit ups. Then, he would run a mile before heading back home.
Tenjin started up with the punches, getting his body into the perfect stable stance that he typically assumed when training against a tree stump, training dummy, or log. His legs were a shoulders' width apart, his knees were slightly bent, and he was directly facing the log that he had just buried into the ground. Tenjin struck it once, then again, counting up as he went. Each punch caused the log to shake a little in the ground, and around 200 the log was too loose in the ground to remain upright on its own. Tenjin decided to move back to his original tree stump that he had been practicing against for the duration of this session and where he had encountered the genin that challenged him earlier. The sun was starting to set, and it was getting a little bit cooler, which was perfect for Tenjin since this would be the hardest workout he had gotten all day. Tenjin resumed his training from where he had left off, 300 punches, then 400 and finally he reached 500. He had started to sweat a little more, but he wasn't exactly tired yet.
Next, Tenjin moved on to the 75 punches. His arms were a little fatigued, but the whole point of the exercise was to blow through and exhaust his muscles all at once. Tenjin started up, but even upon hitting only 25 his arms were starting to give out. The punches had taken a large visible toll on him, not to mention the training he had been doing all day finally working around on his muscles. Tenjin managed to reach 30 before collapsing. He felt somewhat embarrassed. He knew he was far more capable than that, and it was extremely disappointing that he had only been able to do 30 pushups, even after all the training he had been doing. Tenjin looked around, but all the other shinobi seemed occupied with their own regimens to care or notice his weakness. Tenjin scolded himself for being so weak, but moved on to performing his sit ups.
Core workouts were always Tenjin's greatest strength. His abs were well toned and very strong for someone of his age and size. Tenjin breezed past 250 without any difficulty, but once he hit the 350 mark, he began to slow down. Tenjin pushed himself as hard as he could, making sure to fully sit upright with each rep, trying his hardest to not resort to crunches. 380 and Tenjin was having trouble breathing from the fiery pain in his abdominal muscles. Tenjin slowed down significantly at 390 and took small pauses in between each rep to catch his breath and try again. 398, only two more. That's it. I can do this, Tenjin told himself, straining with each attempt. Eventually he managed to finally get all 400 sit ups. Tenjin took a quick second to relax before flipping onto his stomach and getting up to prepare to run. It was 6:45, and a mile wouldn't take long at all. If all went as planned he'd be home just before 7 pm.
Tenjin started out at a slightly slower pace, more akin to a jog than a run, before kicking it up to full speed. Runs were always fun for Tenjin, and he knew it was the best way for him to train his speed, stamina and reaction time, so he made sure to include it into all of his workout routines. After a very short time, Tenjin had deduced that he had completed his mile, having run several laps around his little area of the training grounds by the lake. Tenjin walked over to his open backpack, checked and double checked to make sure he had all of his items, and then finished off the rest of his water bottle in one long swig. Tenjin zipped up his bag, slinging it over both shoulders and walked back home, proud of what he managed to achieve before dinner. His muscles would likely be very sore tomorrow, so he planned to lay off the training for the next couple of days. Maybe he would go explore the village now that he was free. When Tenjin ran home, he decided to utilize his body flicker technique. The body flicker technique let Tenjin move with high speed movements. By using the body flicker technique, Tenjin was able to move short then long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, Tenjin imagined that he appeared as if he was teleporting. Tenjin accomplished moving faster than he ever could by using chakra to temporarily vitalise his body and move at extreme speeds. Tenjin felt the air blow by his hair and everytime he felt that he couldn’t run anymore, he would stop, but only to create the ram hand seal once again and dash forward at his newly imposing top speed. Tenjin wanted to be known as a strong figure in Iwagakure, and the only way he knew how was to truthfully be thorough with his training.
Tenjin thought about the ramification of what had just occurred in Iwagakure, and knowing that the village has just adopted a new Tsuchikage, Tenjin knew that it was within his duty to try and attempt to protect this man with everything he’s got. Tenjin ran as fast as he could pondering the ramification of this grand event. The Tsuchikage is the Kage of Iwagakure, a title bestowed on the village's leader, a leader with more responsibilities than all other Kages in regards to making a disgruntled Iwagakure no sato to follow him. The Tsuchikage is generally regarded as the strongest shinobi in the village, but nevertheless, Tenjin wants to be able to fight alongside this shinobi in order to protect the village. Iwa ninjas, as will Tenjin, will obey the Tsuchikage's every command without hesitation; or at least they should be doing so. Hari is a celebrity in this Iwagakure, due to the position he holds in the ANBU special forces. Tenjin himself is close to becoming a special jonin. Special Jonins are ninjas who, rather than having all-around jonin skills, only excel in a specific area, Tenjins skill set will revolve around not only his undying loyalty to the village and its people, but also his work in regards to his elemental and specialties.
Tenjin realized that he was close to his home, and stopped himself from flickering through the village. Tenjin was obviously tired from this long run and chose to walk the rest of the way to his house. Tenjin was breathing heavily and decided to put his hands on his head in order to spread his lungs and thus his airway. Tenjin while walking thought about what his position would be under this new Kage. He strongly hoped to be his advisor, as he certainly had the intelligence and the wisdom to do so, but his age and experience are more or less lackluster. Tenjin then thought about how he would gain such experience, and becoming a special jonin may very well be a perfect stepping stone. While thinking about how to first go about talking to this Kage about his potentiality in Iwagakure no sato, Tenjin looked up and saw that it was a full moon. The moon appeared incredible, and it rather inspired Tenjin to become stronger. Something about the night sky being conquered by the moonlight was rather inspiring. Tenjin thought about his prowess and how he hopes to protect Iwagakure like the moonlight that shines over the village. Tenjin then happened to reach his home, and being late to eat dinner, he decided to eat something anyways before bed. Tenjin made himself a small meal and sat outside in his front stoop to eat it. It is a great night tonight, and Tenjin sat outside to enjoy this night so that he can rest his muscles from the hard work. When Tenjin was done with his meal, he took off his boots and walked into his home to put the plates away, but not before placing the boots in front of the door. Tenjin walked inside of his house, looking at it and sizing it up. Taking his shoes off and laying them next to the door he stretched before walking inside and looking around at all the space of the house. Trash laid along the barren floors. Tenjin went to a closet and pulled out a mop and bucket as he thought of how to best take care of the trash. He thought about a way to help speed up the cleaning process as he snapped his fingers and placed his palms along the ground.
He went to the bathrooms and went to the tub as he grabbed a sponge and soap and began to lather it up. He went to each room, putting a mask over his mouth and nose, as he began to scrub the toilets and wiped hard to get the grime and stains out from each of them. The smell was still strong enough to seep through the mask as he scrubbed through each one with ferocity as he wanted to get away from such a small apartment as soon as possible. He started to work faster as he went from toilet to his bedroom, having to stop by the sink every now and then to clean off the sponge and apply a fresh layer of soap, as he scrubbed each room until they shined softly from his efforts. After finally finishing scrubbing each room, he continued his efforts, picking up trash and carrying it to the garbage can outside. He continued to clean as he watched the moon outside shine over the horizon. Afterwards he would proceed to clean the sinks and the counter while wiping away the sweat that formed on his forehead. He also got the mirrors as he washed and dried them as they shined from the moonlight overhead. Tenjin smiled, satisfied from his efforts, as he stretched his arms and cleaned the sponge once more. He then proceeded to make his way to the mop and bucket once again as he began to mop the dirty rooms floors. By this time he’s had cleared the house of all the trash that was on the ground. He continued to mop the floors of the rooms, wiping away any sticky places with soap and bleach, until he could feel the difference with his feet and smell the soap doing it's work.
Feeling as though he had done a good job he proceeded to walk along other rooms in the area and mopped those as well as they were now fully devoid of any trash. He started whistling to himself in order to keep himself at least a little entertained as he watched the floors become cleaner and more bearable to walk upon. He noticed other pieces of trash along the house floors as he cleaned around them. He'd take care of them later as he made his way along the floors and mopped. Slowly but surely he mopped from one end of the house to the other as the place began to smell better from the soap that seeped into the floor. Finally after a good few hours he was done as he breathed in a satisfied breath of fresh and clean air and felt pleased with his accomplishment. He walked back over to the mop bucket as he picked it up and dumped it's contents outside. He then packed everything back up into the cleaning closet and stretched as he looked around at his handiwork. He walked back to the door, putting on his shoes, and stepped outside to pick up the now full garbage can as he picked it up and put it all inside a bag before putting the can back inside. Before completely finishing he knelt down to the ground and swiped his finger on the floor to determine its cleanliness. He was pleased with the results.
Tenjin had a small compact apartment, and honestly feels as if he deserves a better and even larger house to possibly house his weapons. Tenjin doesnt have much now, but he suspects that as he ranks up, his belongings will also stockpile a great deal. Tenjin may not have bukijutsu, but he would like to combat utilizing weapons and tools with the best of them, using his taijutsu in order to makeup for his lack of weaponry proficiency. Tenjin took off his gi and decided to take a shower before bed, after which Tenjin decided to sleep with nothing but his shorts on. Tenjin went to sleep thinking about the things that he will be doing with this new Kage in charge, the energy of Iwagakure, and the people, we deserve better.

Rank: B rank: 200 Ryo + 1500 words
Type: Offense/Defense
Element: None
Range: 0-15m
Specialty: Taijutsu
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 5
Description: By expelling a great amount of chakra from their palm, a shinobi can produce a strong repulsive force, great enough to be able to break bones with concussive force and push targets, even at a distance. When used defensively, it can be unleashed from any point on their body to negate the force of an enemy attack or weapon that is A-rank or lower.
Name: Seismic Wave Sensing
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: B rank: 200 Ryo + 1500 words
Type: Supplementary
Element: Earth
Range: 150m
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Tenjin must have direct contact with the earth [flesh to ground] to utilize this technique.
