Mission description: There is a small group of low-rank Shinobi of unknown origin preventing anyone from entering the thunder grounds, remove their exsistance.
Mission details: There are Four bandits at the thunder grounds, the first will be standing in the middle of the thunder grouds waiting for you to arrive, once you do show up, he will attack you. once you finish him off the other two will jump out from bushes on opposite ends of each other and they will both run at you. the fourth and final one will apologize and beg for his life, it will be your choice to spar him or take his life, however given the mission statements to remove them from existence, if you let him live he will run away never to return again and you will recieve a 20 ryo deduction from your reward, or you can simply kill him.
The bandits all have one kunai each and all know D-rank taijustu with D-rank strength and everything else E-ranked. they are all Genin rank.
This mission is repeatable due to that fact the a different group of bandits shows up to terrorize the thunder grounds after the previous one leaves.
Tomohiro watched the sunset over Kumogakure. The mixture of purples and oranges enveloped the sky as he watched from the roof a tavern. It had been a long time since he actually took the time to look at the sunset. It was calming and beautiful to see, but he couldn’t just sit and watch it all afternoon. It was time for him to start his mission. He started to run across the rooftops toward the Thunder Grounds. It was a good distance from where he currently resided. The travel would take him quite a while for him to make it there. The chimmies bellowed smoke across the vast distance of Kumo. He hoped off of the roof and landed on the edge of a plaza. Tomohiro kept his breath steady and even as he ran through it making his way out of the main gate. A couple of jounin watched as he barely missed running into a cart having jumped over it. They both just sort of shook their heads and one slightly chuckled.
His mission had been to eliminate a group of bandits that thought they could just take over the thunder grounds. Eliminating their existence shouldn’t be too hard for him. His body count for killing bandits just seemed to rise mission after mission. Tomohiro wondered how far his body count would actually go. Was this a normal thing for those of higher rank to continue to drop bodies like flies? The missions he lately seemed that way. It wasn’t like he didn’t like killing. He enjoyed it. It was like a personal pleasure of his to watch the life leave another’s eyes. The pure ecstasy that he felt when his hands were covered in the life liquid called blood. The just knowing that he was in control of another’s fate made him warm inside.
He attempted to control the feelings to make sure that they didn’t overtake him. He had spent day after day meditating attempting to find a sense of calm. The meditations definitely were worthwhile. They also helped him focus and make reasonable decisions. The clarity he had in his mind wasn’t taken for granted. The state he was in now he wished he could maintain. He could still enjoy killing, but it wasn’t to the point where he had to keep going in an endless slaughter. The mind was a powerful thing and losing it to instinct could be damning. His grandfather constantly preached to him that he would need to find inner peace. It took him actively meditating to find inner peace and balance within himself. He had no regrets about adding meditation to his daily routine.
Tomohiro made it to the outskirts of the village and pulled out a small handheld notepad. He figured that a frontal assault would work. Unfortunately, he had no skills in sensory other than his eye techniques which he hadn’t quite fully developed. He would need to find alternative ways to try and get a sneak up on them. His clones couldn’t make it that far, so that was out of the question. The young Nakir scratched his head trying to figure out how he should approach the situation. After taking a brief moment to gather his thoughts, he realized the only way he was a full frontal assault. He sighed as he put his notepad away and starting making his way toward the entrance to the Thunder Grounds.
He took his time getting to the grounds still trying to decipher if there was a better way of doing this. Well, he did have other options as far as techniques were concerned. He was selling himself short. It wasn’t like he hadn’t dealt with bandits before. Tomohiro rubbed his temples as he definitely had wasted his time trying to formulate a decent plan. Well, it seemed like he still had a good bit of training left. He could probably learn a couple of sensory techniques. A trip to the library was definitely on his to do list after he completed his mission. There was a slight hope that the library would still be open by the time he got back. He had been there enough that he may get a pass to read after hours. Taking the books home would probably to much of a pain when he would have to find time to bring them back.
Tomohiro made it to the entrance of the Thunder Grounds. The sheath of his sword shifted upward slightly as he grabbed it with his left hand. He made it to the middle of the Thunder Grounds. There was a bandit standing in the middle of the grounds. The bandit couldn’t have been much older than 15. Tomohiro raised an eyebrow at the bandit. The bandit smiled and began to charge at him with a kunai. Tomohiro figured that this had to be a joke. The bandits were some kids that were causing some trouble? Tomohiro grunted as he side stepped a kunai jab to his chest in which he responded with chopping the bandit in the throat.
The bandit started choking and fell to his knees. Tomohiro leaped back a meter and taunted him with his right hand to continue. The bandit started to throw punches at him as he knocked each one way by pushing on the bandits inner forearms. Tomohiro then sent a swift kick to the bandits gut causing them to jolt forward. He then knee’d the bandit in the face breaking their nose. Once the bandit fell backwards he reached in the bandit’s pouch and drew their kunai. He quickly inspected it before grabbing the bandit their hair. Tomohiro sat the bandit up on his knees and slowly moved the kunai across the bandits throat. The bandit started gurgling blood before Tomohiro let his corpses fall to the ground.
Tomohiro sighed as he heard swift movement come from the bushes. He saw one bandit come at him from one direction and heard the another one from the other. Tomohiro jumped back a couple of meters trying to gain some ground. He threw the kunai he had in his hand toward the one to his left. The kunai caught the bandit in the shoulder causing them to wince at the pain. Tomohiro started to take on a feint kick from one of the bandits, but used the bandits head to launch himself into air as he twisted his body landing a kick with his full force to the other bandits skull. The bandit, he used to propel himself upward, drew a kunai and jumped toward him.
The young Nakir pushed his blade up with his thumb slightly out of its sheath as he ducked down. Tomohiro performed a sweeping kick behind the shinobi’s achilles tendon knocking them backward. Tomohiro then grabbed his blade and fully withdrew it from its sheath. He stood up and stomped on the bandits chest as he tried to roll out of the way. He placed the blade at the bandit’s throat as he looked toward the other bandit as they lay unconscious. Tomohiro slashed the cut the bandits throat deeply as the blood splattered on his boots. He then walked up to the one that was unconscious and turned him over. His blade ran across his throat cutting his arteries and his windpipe.
He then heard crying. One bandit, a few meters from him, sat on his knees. Tomohiro flourished his blade to get the blood off. It was a young man who seemed to be about his age. The bandit bowed toward him as he continued crying. Tomohiro watched as the man said nothing for a few moments. The Nakir was patient as he stood there waiting to see what the bandit would do. The sun had almost completely set and he was ready to head to the library bloody or not. The mission was almost over. He still needed to kill this one. The mission was pretty blunt and he didn’t want to be the one to explain to Lord Hastur that the bandit felt sorry.
“Are you serious? You’re literally begging for your life. You could have easily ran away not that I wouldn’t have chased you down.”
“Pleaaaase, shinobi-sama?!!! Let me live, I have a mother and a father that are sick and will die if I don’t return to them. I beg you spare my life and I’ll never return."
“Well, if you insist. I’ll make it quick.”
“No please don’t. Can’t you be reasonable, shinobi-sama? I won’t return.”
“Lord Raikage has orders. I’m not going to disobey a mission approved by the Raikage because you decided to feel sorry. You should have thought about that before you became a pain in the ass.”
Tomohiro swung his blade toward and released a slash combined with katon chakra toward the man’s face and neck. The young man fell over squirming from the pain. He watched as the life finally left his eyes. This would be the punishment for those that crossed the Hidden Cloud. Tomohiro looked at his blade. There was no emotion in his blade. He gave swift judgement and completed his mission. The fact that these guys got in the way of others’ training was enough to execute them. He wasn’t sure how to feel about the matter. It didn’t take much of his time. He had more fight from his clan members when he activated his En Netsugan. This fight he didn’t even have to use his doujutsu. This wasn’t even worth considered to be training.
The chuunin looked around at the bodies and shook his head. He thought about burning them, but decided to leave them for the crows. It wasn’t worth his time, he would need to get to the library. The blood on his boots would already be a mess to try and clean up. Blood and leather were a bad combination. He sighed as he began walking away from the corpses. The mission being finished gave him a feeling of completion at least. These guys weren’t really worth the amount of money he was getting for the mission, but he wasn’t going to complain about it. He wasn’t sure which books he needed to search for. Learning a sensory technique shouldn’t be too bad, but it was something that he wasn’t used to.
