Kisei
B-rank
Just another day in the desert. Nothing marking the time but the heat waves that passed through. Kisei glared toward the window as he fanned himself with a small notebook. Despite his efforts to persuade Alpha to construct a cooling system for the house both Ushinatta can agree to the blazing temperatures. 'I "haven't gotten around too it."' That's crap, Alpha could whip up a professional grade room cooler out of, well, anything. Look out though if he decides to go big. I'm not too sure how the native population would take being trapped in an eternal winter wonderland.
Kisei sighed as he resigned himself to his research in the desert heat. Jumping onto the bed with a thud and quickly stripping to his boxers. Right now he was studying chakra mechanics and how it could transform into different elements. For the most part it seemed to follow what Kisei already knew from his tinkering with chakra tech. Interesting, even across space in time chakra remains unchanged. Might be a good question to bring up with Alpha. Alongside his books on the nature of chakra various novels of the various clans of 'humans' on this planet. The majority of them covering the populations of the Sunagakure. It was unlikely that he would be facing any ninja from other villages soon but just in case he made sure to order a few books ahead of time. It was a strange thing really, just how far humans could stretch out from their original DNA code. All because of this thing called chakra. But does it actually change humans over time? Producing a pencil he started scribbling down his thoughts.
Studying on how these clans came to be it follows many patterns with the Theory on Natural Evolution from World-Omega (home world). Chakra manifests in many differing effects and aspects of it tend to stick to the user over time. A family specializing in converting chakra into fire, Katon, as they call it here, will find themselves more attuned to the element after several generations. However that doesn't take into account the benefits of increasingly in-depth training and the growth of their pool of knowledge to draw from. Although this becomes more clear when-
Kisei winced as he shook out his hand cramps. "Damn I hate when that happens." he grumbled. He spent a minute messaging and resting the appendage before continuing with his notes.
-you look at the examples of the famed Kekkei Genkai, abilities passed down genetically, the evidence becomes much more clearly recognized. Certain traits are picked up over time in an isolated population, noze types, hair types, and so on. Selective breeding, (ha, breeding), can cause these inherent traits to manifest strangely. The Yomotsu for example are a clan exhibiting a number of beast like appendages. Sharpened fangs, in-built arm blades. But... these changes have even more far reaching effects. One I'm really interested in being the creation of different elements. Our Sumiko clan is renown for their scorching flames, and our Sabaku clan has the ability to manipulate sand. I think there was a Kazekage with that ability some time ago but my knowledge of Sunagakure history is rather poor. More observations on the changes brought out from the use of chakra will have to wait. For now, I think I'm just going to enjoy my time reading.
