Mission name: City Brawl
Mission rank: C-rank
Objective: Stop the Brawl
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission description: There has been a brawl reported somewhere in the village, your job is too put a stop to it, either peacefully, or by force.
Mission details: There is going to be 5 people in an all out fist fight all with C-rank stats and a couple of them have led pipes and pocket knives that do C-rank damage. They can be talked down, although it won't be easy, or you can simply knock them all out. However you can not do any serious damage to them what so ever, or you fail the mission. (serious damage is anything like maiming, killing, sending to the hospital, ECT)

Zeref grabbed his gauntlets slipped them on before flexing his hands slightly, the feeling becoming more natural. He had just gotten word that there was a very vocal and load argument happening outside the Sky bar, Zeref was tasked to stopping it before it got out of hand, or subduing them if it did. This was Zerefs first C-ranked mission, most of the time the village wouldn't assign them to genin, but they were short handed at the moment so they had little choice, it was because Zeref was a genin that Tomohiro was also called in and would hopefully met Zeref there at the fight in time. Zeref walked out of his small apartment and down to street level. His home from the Sky bar was only a few minutes so it shouldn't take long. Truth be told, Zeref was hoping for a fight, the missions he had been on have been so boring, this was the first chance he had gotten to maybe fight.

Zeref took down the street heading towards the Sky bar, weaving in and out of people as he went. From the little information he had gotten there were five people involved, Zeref was guessing it was a two on three scenario, wouldn't matter either way really, all five would be targets if it turned to a fight. Zeref was only a few blocks away so he jumped, landing on a balcony and then jumped again to reach the near by rooftop. Now on the roof he continued towards the bar, he wanted a higher point of view when he got there, it would allow him to see more of whats going on, as well as hit them with a sneak attack.

Zeref could hear shouting coming from up ahead, and sure enough there was a group of men, two shouting at three who were shouting back, standing in front of the bar. Zeref noticed one of the two in the smaller group had a lead pipe, but two of the men in the larger had knifes, both groups in a sort of a stand off to scared to make the first move. Zeref looked up and around the area, there was a small crowd but not to many, and the area was pretty open no stalls or things to get in the way. Zeref was crouched on the rooftop, waiting for a good chance, or for Tomohiro to show up, five on one was not something Zeref wanted to try.

Tomohiro had been notified that there was a possible fight that was to be break out. He would to assist in stopping it before it had gotten too routy. He didn’t mind taking on the responsibility of handling this task. He was actually quite bored that didn’t have anything to do. Tomohiro had been taking it easy today. The weather wasn’t too bad today and it didn’t affect how he felt at all. There hadn’t been much of a chance to sit around and stare into the nothing else. That was something that he would do on a day like today. Though, breaking up a fight sounded like it would be fun. He wasn’t sure of what to expect as far as numbers, but he did know who he was to team up with.

The young Nakir dashed his way toward the Sky Bar. The Sky Bar wasn’t a place that really interested him. It was generally packed with people that were loud and obnoxious. Between the smell of alcohol wreaking off drunkards, he rather have spent his time alone. He was a little excited to handle some thugs. It had been awhile since he had real combat. Though, he found a bit distasteful that innocent people may get in the way. It was just part of the job as being a shinobi. He wondered what exactly could the commotion be about. There didn’t seem any reason to him that a fight should break out.

Once he arrived on scene, he noticed Zeref on a rooftop. He figured that his fellow shinobi had probably been staking out the area before he arrived. Tomohiro didn’t want to cause a scene to get his attention, so he wanted to get close to him. He didn’t want to stick out too much, but he obviously looked like a shinobi. The young genin grabbed the thick bamboo sheath of his katana with his left hand. His hand partially covered by his black poncho unseen in the crowd that now had gathered to watch the spectacle of the criminals. They were loud and obnoxious. That seemed to have a lot in common with most thugs these days. He started to wonder if any of the other villages had a problem with their criminal population. The gall of them to start something of this magnitude in the middle of the day.

Tomohiro grunted slightly as he pushed his way passed few civilians. He then began to make his way into an ally and make his way casually to the rooftop that his comrade waited on. He parkoured his way the building grabbing lightly at the ledges of the windows.  He knelt down next to Zeref before saying anything. His first reaction was to nod his head to acknowledge him. These guys were a sight for sore eyes. He wish that he could take them out at once, but figured that it probably would be better to devise a plan. They were outnumbered and Tomohiro didn’t want to take any unnecessary actions that could cause both of them to get hurt.

“Zeref, how are we going to handle this? I say we should probably talk it out first and find out what the problem is. That would be the smarter way. Though, I feel like busting a few heads open.”

Zeref heard the sound of foot steps coming up behind him and noticed Tomohiro had arrived, good that means it was time to get this over with. Zeref returned the nod before looking back to the five people below who were yelling back and forth, something bout money, and territory. Judging by what they were yelling about it was clear they were thugs, and one side had over stepped the others territory, guess neither side realized they had no claim to any area of the village. Zeref heard Tomohiors idea of talking it out, but the five thugs had already grabbed a hold of weapons, so it was most likely to late for that. It wasn't a bad idea to try and talk it out since they were out number, but if they did that it would also ruin any chance of surprise attacks.

Zeref shock his head. "No, taking them out would be smarter given we have the element of surprise still on our side." Zerefs eyes never left the group, sizing them up and coming up with a plan. Two knives, one lead pipe, the unarmed men didn't have any bruises on their knuckles meaning they weren't used to fighting with their hands. Zeref knew he could use his Koton abilities, but he also didn't want to be seen using it, it was still his trump card with in the village.

"You are a katon user correct?" Zeref already knew the answer but he asked anyways. "Do you know the misty flame dance?" Zeref knew it was a common jutsu for katon uses, since it paired well with just about all other katon techniques. If Tomohiro did know the jutsu it would be perfect to start the attack. "If we use that jutsu, then follow up with an ignition it will most likely take one or two out, or at the very least it will cause massive confusion with in the group."

Zeref stood up and did a string of hand signs, six flames appeared around the rooftop before forming into copies of Zeref, with the clones it was eight against five. The clones all jumped off the roof into the near by ally ways to surround the thugs at all sides, making sure to stay hidden.
The thugs wouldn't noticed since they were to busy fighting amount themselves. "I'll send in the clones once the gas got ignited. When the clones will hit them in the confusion adding even more of it, once that happens I'll use my double suicide to pull one of them into the ground. If my thought process is right, after the first blast it will be four against out eight, the clones will most likely take out at least one before I pull one under. So by the time we enter it will be three one eight, maybe three one six if they are able to take out some of my clones." Zeref was born for this, raised for this, trained since birth to turn the odds in his favor no matter the number or power of the other side there was always a way, and Zeref would find it and be ten steps ahead of the target.

Zeref stood up and headed to the side of the rooftop. "I'll wait for your signal below, you stay up here and hit them from above before jumping down to join me. Do not join until I grab and pull one under, better I be the center of attention before you jump in." Zeref wasn't trying to be the hero, but the thugs attention from be rapidly changing, first to nothing from the blast, then to the clones, then to Zeref when he grabbed one, and finally to both Zeref and Tomohiro when he joined. A confused opponent was easy pray. Zeref took a step off the rooftop and into the shadows of the alleyway below.

It seem like the thugs were fighting over territory. Tomohiro became slightly agitated that these guys would fight over something that didn’t belong to either of them. He gripped his sheath a bit tighter. He held a certain pride in his village that had been instilled in him since he was young. This was doing too much. Money could only get you so far in the world. It could buy happiness, but artificial happiness. Tomohiro had been raised to believe that family bonds were the most important. He had an obligation to protect the citizens of Kumo and needed to help solve this problem they currently faced. He would definitely show them who’s territory truly belonged to...the people of Kumogakure.

“Yeah, I know Misty Flame Dance? I see what you’re saying. Though, I can’t make any promises what happens after I use it. The civilians seem far enough away that they won’t get caught.”

Tomohiro wanted to stop them, but putting them close to death wasn’t called for. Unfortunately, he wasn’t strong enough to take them out in one sweep. He figured that he probably should of learned a technique to induce sleepiness. It was too late to be even thinking about that now. The resources he would need were right in front of him. Zeref’s plan made sense and he hoped that the plan would work. Tomohiro unfortunately didn’t have a better one either than talk them down. He would agree to Zeref’s plan for the time being. There wasn’t much time to think of something better. Tomohiro thought that he could probably attack one of the thugs if he timed it right. The distraction would probably allow him to knock them out from behind. The back of his blade would definitely do the trick. Even the sword handle would suffice.

Tomohiro sighed as Zeref took off not giving him any time to interject. He then took a deep inhale while coating his throat and lungs with katon chakra. He released the colorless gas from his lips spreading it downward toward the thugs. Thugs continued their squabble. One of the thugs tried to blame one of other party for the noxious smell. He knew that he would need to hurry to avoid the gas from spreading to much and causing a bigger area of damage. Tomohiro then formed the tiger seal to release two volleyball sized fireballs toward the thugs below. The fireballs ignited the gas causing a large explosion. Tomohiro remained kneeling on the roof to see how Zeref’s plan would work out. He pushed his blade of his sword an inch out of its sheath with his thumb in preparation to take out the thugs.

The explosion went off knocking all five of the thugs on their asses, the six clones moved in shortly after. Two of the clones jumped on one of the thugs, one punting the target thugs head like a ball where as the other slammed a knee down on the same thugs stomach knocking him out. The other four thugs got to their feet facing off with the six clones. The thug with the pipe swung and destroyed one of the clones. As he was going to swing at a second one he was yanked down into the earth by Zeref and his Double Suicide technique. The real Zeref smirked down at the trapped thug and slammed the bottom of his boot into the face of the thug knocking him out. Now with Zeref there it was six on four.

Zeref bent down and picked up the lead pipe that the second knocked out thug dropped, he spun it around once or twice with a smirk, it wasn't a sword but it would do. Zeref heard another clone disappear as one of the two with a knife sliced it, Zeref found his next target. Zeref faced off with the thug with a knife and smirked, the thug wasn't paying attention and two of the remaining four clones jumped him from behind. Zeref swung the pipe cracking the thug in the rib cage making him bend over, following it up with a knee to the face causing his head to whip backwards. The two clones followed the knee attack with a slam into the ground, knocking him out. With only two thugs left Zeref dismissed his remaining clones, one unarmed thug, and the final one armed with the knife. Zeref put the pipe across his shoulders the two thugs squaring him up. They thought it was two on one, but Zeref knew Tomohiro would be jumping in with in a second or two. This fight was already over.

The explosion worked out a bit better than he thought it would. Zeref’s clones launched themselves at the thugs with swift vengeance. Zeref even got a little action in himself. They subdued most of the men as Tomohiro quickly moved to ground level. He quickly drew his blade out of its sheath. Once he made it to ground level, he leaped forward in on the unexpecting targets. Tomohiro didn’t care for sneaking about as such, but he knew that he would need to keep the upper hand while he could. The prey had already come into the sight of the hunter and it was time to bag a hunt.

Tomohiro rushed as one of the two remaining thugs had squared Zeref up. The blunt side of his weapon made contact with the thugs neck. The force on his pressure point was enough to knock him out. Tomohiro then went on to the next thug. The back of his blade making contact with the back of the thug’s knees. The thug fell backwards with his legs collapsing on him. Tomohiro then changed the grip on his weapon and slammed the hilt into the thug’s nose. He then stepped on the man’s throat under his boat slightly cutting of the his breathing. The genin then held his blade against the man’s defenseless chest. The thug looked to be already to be in pain from the slight burns he received earlier. Tomohiro didn’t change his straight facial expression as he pursed his lips.

“Aye, do anything funny and I’ll gut you. Got it?” he threatened while slightly increasing the pressure on the man’s neck.

The thug agreed with a simple yes as he tried to gasp for air. Tomohiro slightly released the pressure off the man’s throat and slightly cut his eyes toward Zeref trying to keep his eyes on his downed opponent. He was a bit satisfied what the two of them were able to accomplish together. They were definitely going to make an interesting team. The mission wasn’t as bad as he thought it would have been. The thugs looked to have been mostly dealt with. He just hated that he couldn’t punish them too much. Though, that changed when the fallen thug tried to reach for his weapon on the ground. Tomohiro then plunged the heel of his boot into the man's gut.

“Nice plan, Zeref. We make a decent team, you and I.”

Zeref watched as Tomohiro rushed form behind the last two thugs, knocking one out, and pinning the other with his blade. The was all five thugs taken care of now. Zeref walked towards Tomohiro who had just kicked the last thug in the gut, giving him a swift kick to the head to knock him out completely, Zeref wasn't one for mercy. "Yeah we do, I look forward to doing more missions with you." Zeref dropped the pipe to the ground and headed to leave the scene, he already figured someone got a hold of the police to come take the thugs away. Zeref put his hand in the air slightly giving Tomohiro a slight wave goodbye. It was time to hand in the mission and get paid. His first C ranked mission was completed, it was time to see if there was another he could take. This mission was easier then Zeref thought it would have been, and it would pay better as well, at the rate Zeref was going and if all went as planned, he figured he would be a chunin by the end of the month.

Zeref left the scene leaving Tomohiro alone with what was left of the thugs. Tomohiro slightly threw up two fingers in response to Zeref's wave. He sighed as he tipped his kasa downward over his face. The crowd around him watched carefully to see what would happen next from a safe distance. He was still eager to fight, but would have to quell his desires for the time being. Some members of the crowd started clapping. It felt good to bust some heads every now and then. The adrenaline rush was quite pleasing, but didn't satisfy his need for fighting. The urge to keep going even when his opponent's were down started to flow through him. It seem almost unnatural. He shook of the feeling that made him clinch the handle on his blade tighter.

Tomohiro flicked his wrist twisting his blade slightly. He sheathed it and began making his way out of the area. He stretched his arms out in front of him and prepared to head to the Nakir mines. There weren't too many of his clansmen that weren't too busy. He may have to find another genin to train with. The decisions he had could be endless. Though, he figured that he could burn off some steam working in the mines. Sometimes he would need to take a break from training and find other ways to waste energy. He wouldn't make much money doing it, but helping the clan at this point was probably more important that his own wants. Plus, striking a pickax against hard stone was quite relaxing.
