However, people without skill in Puppetry can still generate chakra strings to control weapons they have the specializations to wield, within 30m. Unless durability is enhanced by a separate technique, these chakra strings can be broken by any D rank technique that causes blunt force, cutting, or piercing damage.

Ability/Function: This umbrella may seem normal at first however upon closer inspection you’ll notice a few things. The material that covers the ribs of the umbrella isn’t plastic but instead a set of flexible triangular metallic sheets. When closed the umbrella behaves similar to a thrusting weapon which serves to impale opponents, piercing about two inches into unprotected flesh. Its structure being supported by the diamond/plum-bob shaped tip on the end of the main support tube. When completely extended it acts as a make-shift shield with a diameter of two meters, when closed however the diameter, (near the bottom), is only about half a meter and the middle being a quarter of a meter. At all times the length stays the same, (1.22 meters/4 feet).


When the trigger on the handle is pulled or activated, chakra from the person activating this ability is drained and sent through the metal pole, -15 chakra in the process, where it is concentrated on the tip of the plum-bob and fired. (This process takes about about a quarter of a second.) The projectile flies at speeds of 25m/s, dissipating after 30 meters. Upon contact the mass of chakra explodes inflicting damage equal to major 1st degree burning.

Description: Using this technique, the user can create up to five intangible clones that appear physically identical to the user; these are created within 3 meters of the caster. The clones do not disturb the area around them, don't have shadows or body heat, and as such, in applicable situations, ninja can pick them out with varying difficulty. The clone has no physical form, and as such cannot attack. When any foreign presence passes through the clone, be it physical (a fist, a rock, a sword) or an opponent's jutsu, the clone will dissipate. It's mainly used to help mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at dodging. It costs 5 chakra to create clones.

   Description: The Substitution Technique is an age-old skill which enables the user to evade the effects of an attack by switching with an item in the area. (The item---or substantial clone---used for a Substitute must be as large as the user's torso, and must be prepared at least 1 post in advance by infusing it with 5 chakra.) Activating this jutsu for another 5 chakra, the ninja moves at untraceable speed for just a moment, and the item does so as well to take the user's place; the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged, releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Higher-rank ninjas' afterimages are able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were an actual human, if only for a very short period, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance in the location of the item they Substituted with. This technique causes the user to move at speeds untraceable to human perception, and therefore even the user cannot coordinate attacks during the Kawarimi, or activate any other jutsu. They, however, can maneuver near someone and then attack them after the fast-movement is finished.

Description: The user releases a thick mist from his or her mouth or uses a water source around him or her to create the mist. This effectively acts as a cover for the user. Doujutsu such as the sharingan are incapable of seeing through it, since the mist is kneaded with the user's chakra. The byakugan, however, can bypass this mist at any rank. Anyone with the Perception stat C rank will be able to see blurry movement within five meters of themselves - anyone with Perception stat B rank or higher will be generally be able to see movement around them within the mist, with only minor details obscured. The user is also incapable of seeing through the mist unless they themselves have an ability / technique that would enable them to do so.

While not the most intimidating weapon it is still a weapon nonetheless. The metal pole supporting the wheel about  31.75mm  thick and extends to 1 meter in length. Each curl of the wheel is 1/5 of a meter long, and 76mm wide at the near the base. Inside of the weapon is steel wire connecting the wheel, and the wheel/pole support, to the pole. The pinwheel can, with sufficient force, function like a whip. Though the maximum distance this can whip around is short, only 3 meters. (Although it's function and use is more akin to a sword whip.) The wheel, while it doesn't look like it, is capable of cuts up to two inches deep, and the pole is sturdy enough to cause moderate bruises.

By pouring their chakra, (-15 chakra to activate and -10 to maintain), into this weapon the wheel begins to spin quickly. Causing the wheel to cut/slice 1 inch deeper than it normally would, behaving similarly to a buzz saw. Additionally the chakra flowing through this weapon affects the wire inside, allowing it to relax and stretch more easily. Extending the maximum length of the whip to 10 meters.

The Wheel itself has six curls made up from a thin but durable steel manufactured by Alfa, folded multiple times for strength. The pin connecting them is plain looking much like a button. While the pole supporting the wheel about  31.75mm  thick and extends to 1 meter in length. Each curl of the wheel is 1/5 of a meter long, and 76mm wide at the near the base. At the bottom of the pole is a twist and lock system, that controls how much the wheel can spin. Right now it can only switch between on and off: Either the wheel spins, or it doesn't at all. The wheel, while it doesn't look like it, is capable of cuts up to two inches deep, and the pole is sturdy enough to cause moderate bruises.


History: One of Alfa's lesser known weapons. While testing the strength of materials in this world and their compatibility with his knowledge of chakra tech in his previous world, he made this weapon. A prototype of it at least. When Kisei asked his brother to make another weapon for him, he updated this weapon to compliment Kisei's usage of Fūton and Raiton chakra into his weapons.
