Darkness, the moon was waning to the point of a partial crescent moon as though days before a new moon would appear. The village was hardly lit and none moved about at this hour. There was one person who did move and upset the still nature of the night. He moved as though a shadow, garbed in all black, save for armour worn on his person that was a dull grey colour. The only other piece on his body that was not black or grey was a white porcelain mask upon his face. The mask resembled a feline with an ear to ear grin, red markings around the eyes and upon the forehead. The slits for the eye holes held shadows to obscure the eyes of the person behind the mask, who was now looking around to ensure no one was watching him.

This was Hizencho, he was currently scaling the walls of the administration building, moving silently to avoid detection. When he reached the third floor, he pulled open a window and slowly slid into it, closing it behind him. The shadows of the building were as dark as the world outside the walls, but there were still people moving about in this building. Hizencho knew if he got caught during this act, it was over for him. So he moved as quietly as he could, the ANBU armor he wore helping to completely make his steps silent along the long halls. Hizencho knew this mission required stealth and tact more than anything. He was to kill no one and be seen by none. Were there to be a battle, his tanto was on the back left of his belt where it always was, but he himself would do his best to not use it at all.

Moving further down the hall, he came to an intersection, putting his body against a wall to hide within the shadows. He had been in this village long enough and a ninja long enough to know the buildings and stealth in them well. But it was his knowledge as an ANBU of the village that made it so he knew what he was looking for: the records room on the fourth floor. It held records of every shinobi or criminal that had been a part of the village or entered it. He once frequented it for information on targets, or added his own information about other targets. It was there the information on a Ryu Myugan would be held, and where Hizencho would need to get to destroy the records of the man to ensure he could move freely and acquire the resources needed.

Hizencho moved away from the wall and checked the intersection's halls before moving across to reach a set of stairs that spiraled up into the fourth floor. With practiced agility, he jumped and grabbed a banister, pulling himself up onto it to jump again to the next, repeating this to reach the fourth floor within just a few seconds. With that done, Hizencho crouched within more shadows, sticking into a corner to wait, as he heard the sounds of laughter. Sure enough, two shinobi were patrolling the halls, one with a lantern in hand. They were laughing about some joke that Hizencho hadn't heard and did not care to. If he moved right, he could sneak up and use one of his jutsu to gain easier access to the place. But he would have to move precisely and quietly. This was going to be incredibly tricky.

Hizencho moved forward quickly and quietly, stepping into the shadow of the shinobi that was walking with his friend.  They were walking in strides too quick for the ANBU to stop and use a jutsu in the shadow of the man walking with the lantern, so this would possibly end badly should he move too quickly or too slowly. The jutsu he had in mind would take a few seconds to take effect and as such meant that the pair would need to stop. With an inward sigh, Hizencho  tried to anticipate when the two would stop next. It seemed there was an intersection coming up in their patrol. The right would take them to the records room. Th left would take them towards the Kazekage's office and a few other rooms. When they approached the intersection, the shinobi with the lamp looked to his partner, causing Hizencho to squeeze into the shadows quickly, to observe them. It looked as though they would each split up, on would check on the records room, while the other would go ahead down the other hallway and check out the other rooms, should anyone be sneaking around.  Hizencho would watch, and wait for which one would visit the records room and decide on a course of action then.

It was inevitably decided that the one who would visit the room holding all the records would of course be the one with the lantern. He had the most light and would be able to easily see and judge in a room that could hold many shadows. With their roles secured, the two would be ready to move out. Hizencho used this time to slip in behind the man with the lantern, being illuminated by the light of it for mere moments as he used the boar, then the hare handseals. His body would slink down and flatten into the shadow of his target, eliminating all trace of his existence therein. When the two would walk away from each other down separate hallways, the shadow that was attached to the man with the lantern walked with, matching the pace perfectly and moving without any indication of what lied within. This was perfect for the ANBU who had just used the silhouette technique as he now had the easiest way into the records room through the path of least resistance. It would not be long now before the man would reach the door and open it.

When he reached the door, the shinobi turned the knob and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. He lifted his lantern and looked around, seeing naught but piles of scrolls and many filing cabinets that would be filled to the brim with dossiers. Hizencho could not leave the shadow of the ninja just yet, as he would need to wait for the man to leave the room when he had finished conducting his search. The man stepped around a few cabinets with his 'shadow' in tow, arriving at one that he had apparently picked out before even entering the room. With a quick look around again, he set his lantern down on top of the cabinet and went about rifling through the folders, searching for something specific. With an inward roll of his eyes, Hizencho listened as the shinobi found the file he was looking for and began to swoon over the woman within. She was apparently a criminal from another village, and held no actual name. Hizencho came up from the shadow only enough to see the file in the man's hands. It had no real information, just the picture of a familiar looking raven haired woman. Without any real stake in caring who she was, Hizencho retreated back to the shadow and waited patiently for the time to make his move.

Finally the time came and Hizencho noticed the man moving to place the files back in the filing cabinet before picking up his lantern and moving towards the door. The shadow this time would stay in place, watching and waiting for the shinobi to leave the room. The shinobi turned his lantern around the rest of the room one more time before nodding and turning to  the door to open it and step outside. He waved the all clear to the other shinobi that had been patrolling who came back his way as if to say "everything is good here" before the man would shut the door and the two would presumably be on their way to patrol more. Now came the part that Hizencho had been lamenting since he got here. Being out in the open and attempting to find the files he needed to find to destroy them. With a sigh, he came up from the shadows and stretched, looking about the room. The first thing he'd need to do is to find the files for criminals and  find the order they went by.

Thinking back to it, they normally went by surnames in alphabetical order, so he'd need to find criminal history dossiers and then find the letter 'M' for those. After doing that he'd need to go towards the back and find 'Myugan' to be sure he could find Ryu's file. With a sigh from behind the porcelain mask, Hizencho moved around the room, reading the tops of the cabinets and shaking his head when what he saw wasn't what he needed. It would take so long to look through everything in here to find the right file if things were not kept up on, he almost wished he'd been assigned to record keeping in this place, that would have made everything easier. Still, he'd agreed to do this and could not keep himself from obliging anymore. Hizencho moved between the cabinets at a quicker pace, trying to read through them quickly to figure out which one was going to be the one he needed, having absolutely no luck up until he reached the cabinets by the door where he started seeing "criminal files" pop up here and there.

It would take another few minutes to find the alphabetical order, by surnames, and to start skimming through them. Hizencho eventually reached the filing cabinet with the 'M' surnames and began to rifle through it, in a hurried pace. He found Mitarashi, Mugen, and others before he got to the end where there was multiple 'Myugan.' After finding the right files, he rifled through the Myugans to find Ryu and pulled the file out, opening it before he decided on taking it to ensure that he got the correct file. When he saw the familiar face of the coyote and the nickname he had in the 'aliases' section, Hizencho knew he had the right file. With a nod he closed the cabinet with the file in hand and turned towards  the door. It was at that moment he heard the door knob begin to turn and his body instinctively pushed behind where the door opened to slip into the shadows, remaining perfectly still. The man with the  lantern was back, looking around again and moving towards his favorite haunt, the woman's file. He'd left the door open but there was no telling if someone was out in the hall waiting for him.

Slowly and silently, Hizencho moved from the shadows, staring at the back of the shinobi until he reached the front of the door. He turned his head around the corner to see an empty hallway. Without waiting for a moment he darted into the hall, leaping over a few nightstands. He was almost to the intersection when he heard footsteps once more and pushed himself against the shadows next to a display of armour. There was the second patrol, finishing his rounds and looking for his partner. He noticed the door to the records room open and immediately began to walk towards that room, drawing a blade to get ready for any danger he might run into. Not waiting for whether or not the two sorted things out, Hizencho turned the corner and moved through the shadows, moving towards the stairs as quickly as he dared with the patrols about. When he reached the stairs he looked down the flights to ensure no one was coming and jumped down to begin the descent the same way he had ascended. He landed at the bottom in the middle of shadows, looking around to make sure he was alone.

The third floor was all but a ghost town for lack of better words and there was a lone patrol making the rounds at this point. With a silent nod, Hizencho waited for him to pass before darting behind him and opening a window that he'd entered in earlier to slip his body out. Once outside, the shinobi closed the window and jumped down to the second floor balcony, jumping down again to make it to the ground. With his mission nearly complete, Hizencho made his way towards the slums, dossier of Ryu Myugan still in hand and the administration building behind him. Wet work was his specialty, but he realized now he barely had the jutsu to hide in plain sight and he would need to work on that before he took another job like this. When he reached the arches to the slums he looked back to ensure he wasn't followed and then channeled chakra into his hands and feet, to create flames. When the folder in his hand lit on fire, he dropped it to the sand and put his foot upon it, burning the papers to nothing but ash that blew away in the wind. His mission complete, Hizencho went on his way to tell Ryu the good news, hopefully to get his own in return.
