Specialization: Bukijutsu

Clan History:
In the beginning the Ishida were known as little more than farmers, and peasants who existed outside of any Shinobi village in hopes of avoiding their conflicts. While a few of members of the family did utilize Ninjutsu they had been primarily restricted towards to clearing debris, and other pollutions that could wind up in their fields before harvest seasons. As farmers these fields had been the life blood of every man, woman, and child who lived alongside them. Of course there is a catch to living this peaceful life theirs, and the price had been free distribution of the rice they grew out to a band of cut throats calling themselves former ninja who had fought in the Great Shinobi War. They demanded the supplies, and in return offered the family protection from bandits who were roaming around the area. Most of the old humbly accepted the offer while the young disagreed. They were generally out ruled by their fearful elders who didn't want cause anyone trouble, or harm.
After a years of this protection the family always found itself at the worst end of starving, or barely hanging on when their harvest season came around. Because of this the young of the clan proposed that they fight, and the old hid away inside of their shells in fear of backlash. In light of this a man by the name of Mitsunari Sokaime would arrive a few days ahead of the time of harvest day when the bandits arrived. With him he brought several of his brothers, and cousins whom were all trained in the art of Swordsmanship. Yet none of them would ever be seen carrying a sword. Their brief explanation of this stated that they hailed from an isolated land where the men were all raised to be Kabuki Dancers, or Actors from a young age. Because of this they needed a way to protect all this assets in times of need, and so tbey developed a sword style that revolved around a Kodachi blade acting as a hilt of an umbrella, or parasol.
Many of the older family members wished only to hire the outsider, and his siblings in order to fight for them despite their already strangled predicament that developed around the same attitude. The young disagreed, and asked that they instead be taught the ways of battle in order to prepare them to fight for their right to live. In the end Mitsunari, and the two of his brothers Hanzo, and Kenshin agreed to help out the youngsters in their plans. While his two remaining brothers Haurto, and Yukino took the elderly off to the nearest village for safety reasons. Within the coming 2 weeks the younger generation of the Issues would find themselves being locked in extensive bouts of hand eye coordination drills as well as the practice of ambushing their targets by hiding amongst the fields. Yet those two weeks couldn't have passed by quick enough as the bandits arrived to find nothing. No food, and no villagers in sight.
At first it remained this way, but as luck would have it one of trigger happy youngsters charged at them haphazardly only to be killed in the process. Moments later the entirety of the youngsters would reveal themselves only to find that the elderly of the village had also returned as well, and after a bloody conflict the Ishida were beaten to a bloody pulp alongside their newly acquired skills. The food they worked so hard to protect was then stolen along with most of the valuables they had to offer. Younger members of the clan survived along with Mitsunari, and his brothers who took everyone who could walk back hkme with them. After giving a thorough explanation of the situation, and giving it some well deserved thought the families merged by way of having Mitsunari alongside his brothers marry into the Ishida as a whole.
Through this bond the Ishida slowly drifting away from just being farmers, and instead joined the ranks of armed Kabuki Actors who performed all over the land for any who had a knack for dangerous beauties in their area.

*Mitsunari Ishida[Current Head]
Kekkei Genkai Name: Kenshibu (剣詩舞, meaning 'sword and poetry dancing')
Kekkei Genkai Description:Kenshibu isn't really a Kekkei Genkai at all, but rather an art form that has been granted the shape of a blade. Originally a dance that the Ozora perfected for their Kabuki professions, long before their integration within the Ishida. Even so it has still been passed down throughout their younger generations secretly as many lust after it in hopes of extracting details on it directly from a member themselves. Firstly, the Kenshibu is a sword style that is completely reliant on its practitioner being swift&nimble at all times. A trade off that leaves those using it to be fragile in body, but more agile on other ends. In times of need the style also relies heavily on unpredictable swings that project off of the blade being used. The blades themselves are more notably made up of a highly reflective steel, or iron in which mimics the properties of a mirror in its entirety.
*Kenshibu is a technique that all of the Ishida are forced to learn at an early age, and as such they must discipline their bodies in fast paced movement, and liquid like counters. In direct correlation they will receive +1 Tier to perception, or Speed.(Must be stated next to your Clan name which one you are taking for reference. If wishing to take both then their will be a -2 tiers of endurance, or strength penalty)
*Ishida clan members must always be one step ahead of their foes, or their fragile bodies could cost them both their own lives as well as an allies. Because of this that must take either the Reflexes special characteristic, or Multi Tasker. Whichever one you choose will require the clan member to take balance them with Frail.
*Members of this clan may take a free Rank E Kenjutsu weapon upon creation that doesn't scale with their own ranks. However it can be apped for improvement at the lowest Roy cost of that higher rank.
Drawbacks:
*Respectfully the Ishida are users of the Blade alone, and no matter how unorthodox the weapons they choose my be that will never change. As such the Ishida may not take Taijutsu as a specialization nor can they have Kugutsu either.
*When wearing non-Cloth armor the effectiveness of a Ishida clan member is decreased exponentially. As such they receive a -2 speed penalty due too any other form of armor, or clothing weighing them down.(Must state in said thread that this is occurring.)
*Having been trained in speed, and reflexes their physical prowess is lacking heavily. As such they take +1 tier damage from Taijutsu.
*Do to their lack of focus on anything other than their own sword techniques all Ishida clan members receive a 10% word count increase when training Ninjutsu&Genjutsu techniques.
