1 Rise of the Sea Narion [S-Rank Mission/Sero] Thu Jun 29, 2017 4:15 pm
Uchiha Teru
D-rank
The time had finally come. Just days ago, it had been determined that a mission would be embarked on to deal with a particular people isolated from the surface world. To manage the savage people from the forgotten city and eliminate them before they attacked anyone from the village. Teru recalled the information provided by the captured scout from this hostile clan of mutated abominations. At the time, it was implied that they were somewhat stronger than Teru, and they were also greater in number. Two rows of five, was it? And, they all knew the water techniques and lightning techniques. It was threatening for anyone who had not yet faced off against them.
At least she would not be alone in this mission. Sero was providing her company on this long endeavor, and he would be leading their assault on the Hoshigaki footmen. However, there was only one who would not be joining them. Teru knew this for a fact after having confronted him during one of the nights prior to this day. It would only be her and Sero fulfilling their duties during this mission. Surely their teamwork would be as effective as it could have been with the addition of Burittsu. Burittsu…. Teru mulled over all that had happened between the two of them. Subconsciously, she brought her hand to her left eye and traced her fingers along the line of her scar. It had healed fairly well since she was last admitted to the hospital, but it was visible to anyone who bothered to look at her in the face. However, it would not be disappearing anytime soon. It was going to stay with her, probably for the rest of her life. A battle scar that told the story of betrayal...
Teru sighed as she thought about it. Perhaps it was better that Burittsu was gone. If he had stayed and joined her and Sero in this mission, then it would become rather awkward and uncomfortable for the both of them. Sero would surely question her on how she had gotten the scar in the first place, and she would have no choice but to share the details. And, as a result, all eyes would be on Burittsu. Well, Sero would question her about it anyway since it was not there during any of the times they had spent together. Would her former ally have to pay for it and suffer the consequences administered by Sero? She had no idea whatsoever, but something would surely be done. If he did notice the scar on her eye now, she believed there would be questions. She had never approached him and told him about what happened that day, or any of the days after the fateful night.
Pushing the thoughts out of her head, Teru returned her focus to the mission at hand. She was going to have more of a supportive role, acting out to assist Sero and do what she could to help take care of the problem. She looked around the area that would lead them to the undersea city, the place where they would be confronting the enemy. Her arsenal of weapons and jutsu was, more or less, prepared for what was to come. She carried with her the equipment that all members of Ninshiki possessed- the robe and mask that were exclusive to the organization, and the chakra absorbing device that was worn as a gauntlet for the Uchiha. Teru glanced down at the gauntlet on her right hand. It was limited in how much it could take in. She was well aware of what sort of risks there were. However, Teru was ready to put those risks to the test and utilize its abilities. Now, all that was needed was her designated partner. Sero Osada.
