Patrol Duty:

It was a new day and a new mission as Noel had taken to patrol duty like a moth to a flame, today he was given a new gate to work on as he felt excited to finally be watching over the gate. Noel enjoyed being useful as well as being made use of, while some may feel children should not be trained to become shinobi, this was a shinobi world and parents had to always get with the times or get extinct. Noel put on his new t-shirt with the seal on it as well as sealed some of his gear in it, he knew he had to work hard to impress the new Kazekage and live up to her expectations as he made his way towards the gate, when he got there he took hold of the wireless radio as the one new guy handing over the shift was a bit shocked that such a young little boy was on gate duty, but his partner and old man just slapped the new guy against the back of his head. "In my days even six year olds could become shinobi, now stop gawking and leave him to his shift"

As Noel just had a somewhat clueless look on his face before getting to his gate as he stood guard waiting for something to happen as he began looking to the sky and wishing he could fly. Sadly he had to stand on guard for gate duty so no flying for Noel today as the first order of business for the day was a small family from the slums who were requesting a chance to go out and visit their grandfather. He had seen them before and having lived in the slums knew they were from the village as he took down their details as they exited the gate without problem.

He looked around and began humming for a bit as he had to deal with several people going out and a few shinobi taking this gate to go out on missions. Noel wondered why he did not go through the gate more often, forgetting he had the option of just flying over the wall, or jumping over it as well. He began to get a bit tired even though only half an hour passed as this shift was shorter then his previous one, he just had to watch the gate for four hours and no more then that this time.
