"Forty, forty one, forty two," Raku counted out as he did his set of fifty push ups for his daily regiment. He had already done all his other training this was the last of it before he could leave the battle plateau and go to grab himself something to eat. "Forty three, forty four, forty five" Raku continued out loud since no one else was around him. The Battle Plateau had been empty for the last hour, which is around the time he had stopped practicing his kenjutsu and began his physical training with sit ups, pull ups on the hanging bar that was there on the plateau, etc. Considering the fact that Kenji was holding a tournament in a couple of weeks he had to ensure that he was ready for anything that could be thrown at him. "Forty six, forty seven, forty eight," just a few more and I will go get something to eat he thought to himself as his stomach let out a growl, he had not eaten anything since this morning when he had breakfast and it was now late into the afternoon. He knew he was pushing himself a little hard, but considering what was coming he did not have much choice in the matter he had to improve if he was going to win the tournament. "Forty nine, Fifty!" shouting fifty a little higher than the rest of the numbers that he had counted. After which he jumped up to his feet and walked over to the bench where he had laid his coat down before he had started his training. Throwing on his white coat he walked to the nearby water fountain and grabbed himself something to drink, before leaving the Battle Plateau and heading out to get something to eat. He had passed by a couple of restaurant along his walk but he did not stop, "quiet down" he said under his breath to his stomach as it began to growl again the smell of the food was getting to him. He knew where he was going, in his opinion as well as the owner it was the beat food in all of Kumo 'Ouri's Place' it was a restaurant close to the entrance to the village and so it was usually very busy as a lot of tourist often went there to eat. Despite it usually being extremely busy the owner Ouri had become one of Raku's few friends within the village and always makes a place for him to sit and enjoy a meal after a hard day of training.

As he drew closer to the restaurant he could see that it was packed 'a very busy night for Ouri,' Rakurai thought to himself as he walked through the door of the restaurant. "Welcome to Ouri's place" came a quick greeting from the hostess as she approached him with a smile, "I'm sorry but we are packed its going to be a thirty minute wait at the earliest." the hostess continued. "That's fine, just tell Ouri that Raku is here to see him" he told the hostess returning her smile. "Oh Raku, I'm sorry I did not know it was you, Ouri has a seat reserved for you, please follow me." the hostess was quick to apologize before turning around and walking towards the back of the restaurant and showing him to a seat in a corner booth that had a sign saying reserved. The woman took the sign off the table and motioned for him to sit, "someone will be with you shortly to get your order, is there anything you would like to drink?" the hostess asked. "Just some water, please." Raku said as he grabbed the menu and tried to decide what he was going to have to eat.

The thing about being in Kumogakure no Sato meant that it was a new area that Renier had to become intimate with. No longer was he consistently aware of the exact steps he needed to take to get to the local market, nor how many steps were needed before he would need to take a turn. Kumogakure no Sato was a tad bit familiar, due to having taking numerous trips to the village in the past, yet he was not familiar enough with the landscape to successfully navigate between point A and point B. Having just recently arrived in the village, being only a few days’ time in total, the blind shinobi was intensely watching others move about and try to map out a general layout of the village. Being that the village was significantly larger than the one he hailed from, Renier would have to spend countless hours getting used to the general layout of the village from his own method of sight.

Regardless of not being too familiar with the general layout of the village so far, Renier was aware of the important locations that currently mattered to him – the administration building and his current place of residence, an apartment he had rented out for at least a year. Renier, still not entirely sure, where his future would take him, welcomed the proposition of becoming a shinobi on a temporary basis – he had all his bases covered, for he had the rough equivalent to academy training back home, though it was more suited towards Renier’s own needs rather than the general education that would have been provided to him should he have learned the ways of a shinobi while in Kumogakure no Sato.

The beginnings of Renier’s new adventure of knowledge in whereabouts would begin the entrance of Kumogakure no Sato. Should he become a shinobi or even wish to visit his family in the north, Renier would need to become familiar with the main gate that he would have to cross. Of course the numerous people that ventured back and forth in the area helped Renier become even more familiar with the layout – for he could tell where people stopped, made motions to open doors, and where obstacles were located that would usually obstruct the blind. To the normal eye, to any who came across Renier, they would simply see an individual who looked lost and wasn’t sure on where to go. There were no signs that he was blind, for his pale purple orbs were wide open and looking in the general direction of where he was mentally mapping out what he possibly could. He didn’t have any other purpose about being out today, with mentally laying out the village being his sole purpose of the day.

Pacing was everything that Renier needed to readjust while being in Kumogakure no Sato. No longer was he in a smaller village where there were less people bustling about, for the populace of Kumogakure no Sato was infinitely larger than that of his home village. Now being a resident of Kumogakure no Sato meant that he would have to account for all extra people walking about, for he would need to learn to navigate through the village and past the people as well. The extra bodies travelling about were the real challenge, for Renier would easily – though through a long process – be able to familiarize himself with the layout of the village. Figuring out what each building housed would be the difficult task, for Renier could not see the names of shops and such, though it was easy enough to figure out from sensing the people inside and realizing what they were doing exactly.

Standing outside a building, though not even having to look at it, Renier was able to figure out whether the building housed a restaurant, a clothing shop, a weapon shop, etc. It was challenge, for it would be easier with normal vision, but Renier knew the benefits that his vision provided over the general populaces. Time was what he had until he set about getting a proper routine and training in before he embarked on missions. Nothing would hinder his progress to learn the layout of learning about his new home. Having already decided to commit the next few days to doing such a thing and getting a general grasp of the building, Renier had little to nothing to worry about. Asking for help from someone else was not in the cards for Renier, for he needed to do for himself.
