Hyde
D-rank
Hyde stood before the double doors to the free clinic. His bored expression gazing up to the building and its two story bland cement color. Of course it wasn't going to impressive to look upon but he wondered truly if there had been any effort put into it. There were only two large windows per floor and he could see the second floor was almost entirely filing cabinets. He nearly shuddered at wondering just how organized all those files could be. He hoped they were at least separated by year and name. Some sort of filing system that was easy to navigate. Besides that he would glance to the windows on the first floor. He could see two people in the waiting room. One looked like he was perfectly healthy and the other was an elderly homeless woman with some scabs on her face. She seemed rather zoned out while the young man seemed content to avoid her. He could see the receptionist behind the desk and a single female doctor with a disheveled look about her shifting through a couple of documents. Free clinic or no he had expected more. However he needed some field experience before he would be allowed to work in the actual hospital on the other side of the city block. So the free clinic it was.
Hyde would clear his throat and adjust his black tie calmly. His white shirt was pressed and without a wrinkle as per usual. Cuffs tightened and a black vest over them both with copper buttons. His headband was tightly tied around his left shoulder. His black slacks had the impression of being steam pressed with firm creases. Shined black shoes hinted at a determination to appear polished. Only the pack of smoke sticking out of the breast pocket of his vest was out of place. Well, that and the kunai and three shuriken tied to his belt. All that was fine and all. His black hair hung down lazily around his face framing his blue eyes. Eyes that screamed of boredom and considering other people simpletons. Most would be able to ignore such an arrogant expression except it had to be on the face of what appeared to be a ten year old. The curse of his clan was he actually looked old for his age. He was fourteen and had graduated from the academy but due to genetics he did not age appropriately. Not by common standards anyway.
Still he would light up a smoke and wait a moment. He was a half hour early for his four hour volunteer shift. Building up towards his hundred and twenty needed to even start in the hospital. He wasn't eager to start either. Still he would take a drag as the smell of tobacco filled the air. Letting out the smoke in a ring as the sun began to rise and reveal the morning. It was early so no one was out and about really. Just the crack of dawn. Still the overworked doctor likely doing the night shift took in both patients and ushered them out by the end of his smoke. The older lady having just been taking a nap some where warm and the young man looking to score some drugs. Hyde would watch them both leave before dropping the butt of his smoke and smothering it under foot. He would sigh and walk into the now empty establishment. Reporting the the doctor there. Quietly speaking up.
"Hinode Hyde, genin of the village here for his hours."
He would hold up his slip and identification before the doctor would blink sleepily and look between him and the paperwork before sighing. She quickly explained she needed to go fetch some food and coffee before indicating where he could find a white coat and telling him she would be back in an hour. The pharmacy would be locked while she was gone so he would be stuck just utilizing basic medical skills and jutsu. He would nod having expected as much before she nodded in return and rushed out the door. The was likely the first break opportunity she had her entire shift. He didn't blame her. Still he would stand next to the counter before slipping on the white coat which reached his ankles. One might hope the first patient would take him seriously.
