“Miko-chan, I think, no, I know I love you. Pl-please will you go out with me?” In front of the mirror Berotchi confessed with his arm held stiffly in front of him. In his hand a single rose, though slightly wilted, was being presented to his rather abysmal reflection.
Getting up from his kneeling position Berotchi sighed leaning back onto the room’s king sized mattress.
“Damn it, that will never work” Berotchi berated himself “She’s from a wealthy family and you’re just a poor bell hop.”
Silence filled the room as Berotchi thought.
“Did you, did you really mean all that?.” A small voice from the balcony asked, barely above a whisper. Berotchi’s breath hitched at the sound of the voice. Turning to his left he saw Miko-chan standing on the balcony he had forgotten to clean. “Do you really love me?”
Berotchi hesitated his heart was on the line and maybe he…
Suddenly the book Mizuto had been reading was pulled from her grasp.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Mizuto yelled as her eyes travelling to the familiar figure that held her precious Icha Icha. Before her stood a middle-aged lady wearing glasses and a scowl.
“Mizuto shouldn’t you be training, or doing a mission, or doing something other than be here right now?” The librarian asked closing the adult book and holding it back out for the blue haired girl to collect. Realization dawned on Mizuto’s face as grabbed her book and ran for the door.
‘Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it’ The blue haired girl thought as she rushed towards the administration building. Entering the building she cringed, it looked like she was the last person to arrive for the day and that was never a good sign. Walking up to the front desk she rang the bell and waited for the chunin on duty to give her a mission.
The chunin, who had previously thought his duties done for the day, turned to her with surprise.
“Oh hi Mizuto. I’m guessing you forgot to grab a mission this morning, ha?” He asked bending down to grab the last D-Ranked scroll remaining. “Well the good news is you have a mission. The bad news is that you have the mission.”
“… Please, please, don’t make me do this.” Mizuto begged in fear, her eyes on the verge of tears. “I’ve heard such terrible things about those demon cats I just can’t.”
“Sorry Mizuto, it’s all I have left.” The Chunin said holding the mission scroll up to her. “If it helps I heard that they’re somewhere near training ground 3.” Mizuto nodded her head in thanks before taking the scroll and leaving. It wasn’t his fault that she had made a stupid decision (well not stupid Icha Icha is never stupid) and been late. Reading through the scroll she sighed before curling it up and putting it in her thigh pouch.
‘Two cats, both black but one with yellow eyes and the other with green. Mymission is to subdue them without causing any permanent damage. They proficient in stealth and speed, while also able to use minor melee attacks such as bites and scratches. They are unable to use chakra and are attracted high-class fish (which I can’t afford), gold (also can’t afford), and the smell of blood (that’s just gross). I mean I could just cut myself but that would be… wait!’ A sparkle appeared in the ero-genin’s eyes as a plan began to take shape. Swiftly she moved towards training ground 3 to begin her preparations.
Once there Mizuto found herself a small clearing next to a river before sitting under a tree and taking out her copy of Icha Icha: Hotel Heat. Breathing deeply in concentration, she placed the book beside before performing the signs for her most difficult ninjutsu.
“Suiton: Mizu Bunchin no Jutsu!” Mizuto yelled as water from the nearby river surged upwards, creating a copy of herself standing on the water. The copy looked blankly at Mizuto, waiting for further instruction. “I want you to hide in the water until my signal ok?” The clone nodded before sinking down into the river it came from.
‘Now time for the fun part.’ Mizuto thought, taking her Icha Icha book and flipping it to her favourite page.
“Berotchi… are you sure about this?” Miko-chan asked hiding under the covers of the bed, wearing nothing else but a-
“Eeeeeeeh” Mizuto cried as a gush of blood squirted out of her noise onto her kunoichi uniform. The girl kept reading. After half an hour of waiting the two black cats began to slowly approach from the tree line, curious about the fresh blood they smelt on the wind. Before them laid a blood splattered kunoichi, heavily engrossed in the finally chapters of her book.
‘Take it off Berotchi.' Mizuto thought eyes glued to the page in front of her. “Take it of-“ Suddenly Mizuto felt two small bodies begin nuzzling into her blood soaked top. Looking down she saw the cutest/most-disturbing thing she’s ever seen. Her two targets were rubbing themselves into the still wet blood that covered her, purring and stretching against her body.
“Hey little guys aren’t you just the cutest demon cats I’ve ever seen?” Slowly she picked up the two cats and brought them into her chest. As her blood was most concentrated there they didn’t seem too reluctant to be held. Walking over to the river she called for her water clone.
“Can you grab my book, I’ve kind of got my hands full.” Following Mizuto’s request the clone grabbed her book and followed her as she took the two cats back to the administration building.

- 120/150 Chakra (Suiton: Mizu Bunchin no Jutsu):
Name: Water Release: Water Clone Technique (水遁・水分身の術 ~ Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Canon
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton/Water
Range: Clones cannot travel more than 30m away from the user.
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Until clones are destroyed or cancelled
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original user's chakra - taken after the initial activation cost of this technique has been deducted. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water. Water clones are capable of only using suiton jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. Regular jutsu cooldowns apply - if a technique is used by one clone, it cannot immediately be used by another clone. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause the equivalence of a C rank technique in physical damage [major bruising, 1-2 inch cuts, etc.] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu. The user may willingly disperse a clone - returning any chakra the clone has left to the user - but this can only be done under the condition that the clone is not under direct attack. Clones which have been dispersed by other means - ie. taking damage - do not return any chakra to the user.
