It had been a few weeks before Zetsume got wind of his request being heard. Being a Jounin from a village had some push and pull from higher ups when it came to strengthening and enhancing their deadliness. The request from Zetsume was simple, he asked that a note was sent to all allied villages requesting an outside teacher of Ninjutsu. While Zetsume was only accepting of his own kind of people, he knew that it would be better for relations of villages if he requested only outside help. While Zetsume did not know who the person was that accepted his request, he did know that the person was from Konoha and of ample skill. Other than that nothing was mentioned of this person. Another way Zetsume had some leeway with his village was the fact that when the Shinobi showed up, he would be escorted to the Thunder Grounds where Zetsume wanted to train. It was not a favorable spot to be in as the air was stagnant and thunder bellowed in the background. Every Kumogakure ninja knew to stay away from these lands if they were not of ample skill. If anything, it was a sort of test to see what kind of shinobi showed up. Perhaps the person was scared of lightning, or perhaps they like Zetsume would find it an interesting challenge. Zetsume kicked up a small patch of dirt that fell into tiny cracks in the ground. Not much life was here other than a few scattered trees. It held ample room for training with no one around to intervene. Unlike Zetsume, his dog Repede was not happy about being in a place like this. Zetsume had warned the dog that he could have stayed home, however he did not listen. Now the pooch was on edge from the lightning and thunder strikes. Worried that either he or his master could be struck by lightning. These grounds were like home to Zetsume though, he had trained here many times. It was relaxing to be out here alone, away from distractions and people. Only letting your mind wander only so far before being wary of the lightning. Feeling an uneasy feeling, Zetsume jumped back as a lightning struck where he was standing. It was the first of many that would have to be dodged. This place was not of the faint of heart or for the weak. It was a torn apart land with no hope of repair. Not even the sun would shine enough here for life to sustain. The few trees that still stood were shriveled and some looked like they have been on fire before as nothing but a charred remains stood where a tree once did. It was quite unknown what made these lands the way they did however, it somewhat gave birth to the name Kumogakure. All of it was in Zetsume's jurisdiction and protection. The main reason he requested for a Ninjutsu teacher was for the fact of looming threats. While he did not know what would happen to his village, he worried that something will happen. It was the constant annoying fear that echoed in his mind, the death of his own people. Zetsume hated the thought of his favorite waitress, his neighbors the San's, or perhaps random children being killed. The mere thought of it haunted many nights of Zetsume's sleep. He had grown attached and fond of the people that resided in his village and it was the closest to love that Zetsume had experienced since killing his Fiance'. Pulling out a small pipe, Zetsume lighted it and took a long drag waiting for the shinobi. Of course Zetsume was earlier than the other by a lot, though it was better than being late. With a deep inhale and exhale, Zetsume tapped the ashes out of the long pipe and handed it to Repede. Zetsume always bought new pipes after using one, the dog enjoyed chewing on the fine woods. Repede sat there with the pipe sticking out of his mouth as he gave small chews to the mouth piece. The dog would stand up randomly as if to dodge lightning, but as the two stood there not a single other strike landed. It gave to two and uneasy feeling that they were not being attacked. Oddly enough, the two were similar in the fact they both worked well under pressure. Despite somewhat crippling anxiety, Zetsume did well under pressure than relaxation. Perhaps this was the link to his fondness of the place.

Zetsume placed his hands in his leather jacket after popping the collar in place. The jacket covered his chest area that held a white shirt and a pendant of old on his body. Of course he was in the attire of black jeans and common boots. Repede looked cooler though with his scar than Zetsume did. Zetsume's ran from the right eyebrow across the bridge of his nose to the left side of his face while the dog's was down the middle of his eye. Though in all honesty, Zetsume enjoyed both his eyes. Giving a small pat to the dogs head and speaking in a low tone so the dog could only hear, "We will protect them, Repede. They are all we have left."Zetsume was referring to the people in Kumogakure, as he has disowned his clan tree. He was truly alone in the world despite Repede and a few acquaintances. Despite being a Jounin, a ninja that is often in the spot light, he did not like being around people. They were mischievous, greedy, and selfish usually people. That would explain why Zetsume was more comfortable around fellow shinobi even if they are not from his own village, because they too like him knew what it meant to take a live and possible sacrifice a life for the greater good. Repede may not know this, but Zetsume's determination also stems from the dog. Being his only true friend in this cold world, he could not bear the thought of losing his beloved dog. While the fear of his fellow people was his told reason, deep down it was the fact he could not handle seeing this dog die. It would devastate him and his whole tiny world that he lived in. Zetsume would be alone again... Something he wished never to experience again. So he will continue to become stronger than before, seek knowledge that can aid him in his protection. Zetsume will bear the weight of the world to protect Kumogakure if need be and his dog.

Rippa had only truly been in the village for a matter of a couple of hours before he had become less interested with looking around the village and more in finding something constructive to do. The tea shop he had visited had been decent with some tasteful choices but tea was such a basic and simple thing. While it would be nice for a cold beer instead it was far too early in the day and he wouldn't leave that impression day one in a new village anyway. Sadly it wasn't a village that knew of him anyway. He had thought his name famed virtually anywhere but people seemed to think the captain coat was just something as simple as ANBU captain and kept asking him why he wasn't wearing a mask. Truthfully he had never been ANBU. He was a simple sword master and a continued student of the blade. He had simply laughed it off and told them he wasn't anbu and that seemed to rid them of the conversation with only a little confusion left. He wasn't proud enough to throw around his Sannin title to common villagers either unless asked. Which hadn't happened a single time.

However when he reported his inn address and room number to the administration building in order for them to keep track of foreign shinobi, on his way in he had noted a request board. One of their jounin had a request specifically for a foreign shinobi to train them in Ninjutsu. What a wonderful opportunity it was for him to establish relations. Konoha hadn't taken action against Kumo during the brief interaction with Kiri but it hadn't offered any support to them either. It was well known to the world they were allies with Kiri and had placed troops in kiri to defend against counter attacks. If he were to have anywhere to start, it would be helping one of their shinobi grow in power. So when he turned in his information he asked to take the person up on the offer. It took an hour of waiting around the administration building. Yet after wards it was arranged. A couple of individuals would bow to him and he would bow in return before they escorted him to the boundary of the training location. How odd he thought that they would go no further and simply pointed him in the direction of a barren bit of land.

Rippa walked across cracked earth with dead, dry earth as thunder cracked overhead. Rippa himself was wearing Dark blue pants with boots laced around the ankles. His belt had eight bolts lined up in slots along the front. Four on either side of the belt buckle while the rest remained loaded into his twin blades. For a shirt he had a sleeveless sweater vest with a zipper on the front and a high neck. The zipper pulled up to just under his neck showing a small amount of his chest as the collar hung just under his chin. Over it he was wearing his red long coat. A leather coat with a konoha headband stitched into both shoulders and Captain emblazoned on the back in Kanji. On his hips were two sheathed katana with tilted hilts with levers attached. A couple of times lightning hit rather close to him and he felt uncomfortable about the proximity and location. However his attention was drawn from some distance to a man and his dog. From the flat plains he could see him clearly. With patience he moved across the distance and kept his senses out. Lightning strikes frequenting too close for comfort. Still when he arrived near the man he would bow his head slightly before speaking.

"Before we begin good sir with introductions do you mind terribly if I do something to prevent unpleasant interruptions?"

From a distance, Zetsume could see his mentor in Ninjutsu arrive. Being escorted by fellow Kumogakure ninjas, the Konoha mentor showed them courtesy with a bow before proceeding to Zetsume. It had to be him as most people would avoid this area unless there for training and at this moment not another soul was around. While from a distance the man looked daunting, and when up close was far scarier. Not in the sense of hideousness or disfigurement but demeanor. The man held presence when he walked and seemed a veteran on the battlefield like Zetsume. For sure without a doubt this was the man that they sent. Zetsume smiled at this chance opportunity, and hoped he set a good example for his village.

On a closer look the man was a rather large fellow, trenched in red coat that had stitchings of Konoha from what Zetsume could see. The more notable things for Zetsume was not his attire but instead his choice of weaponry. As Zetsume's clan did not have real indication of his weaponry, this man boldly displays his two swords at his side under the coat. To do something so bold was not Zetsume's style. He was an archer at heart and would not let people even this close to him but he needed to hone his ninjutsu skills and this man was the key. Zetsume bowed when the other man did, meeting it with a slightly lower bow out of respect. Giving a smile to the man he went to speak but was interrupted by his own words. He spoke with such respect and pleasantry that it took Zetsume by surprise. Even people in his own village did not speak to Zetsume with such wording not even his own clan members... However they are stuck up snobs that hide behind their massive wealth. Zetsume was however confused when the man spoke about the unpleasant interruptions. Giving a small look around the vast barrenness he could not help but to cock an eyebrow in curiosity. Giving a small nod Zetsume was curious what this man meant by the current situation.

After the Konoha ninja would finish what he was planning to do, Zetsume would reply with these words speaking to the shinobi with fellow respect, "Thank you for showing up, Sir and at a rather impressive time rate might I add. My name is Zetsume Zix, a Jounin from Kumogakure and this pooch here is Repede, a trusted companion and long friend. He will not be joining us, just here for company." Giving a small pat on the dogs head he spoke again. "I do not have much to offer, but I need to learn how to properly control Ninjutsu. Sorry about meeting out here in this desolate place, but I needed ample room in case something should go wrong." Zetsume gave a small bow out of respect after speaking again and waited for his reply. With any luck, this chance encounter could improve relations with fellow villages. While he knew not why the man really accepted, it was a wonder of his. Perhaps he like Zetsume, needed to improve village relations and gain some training. However, with how the man looked, he looked ample strong enough to take Zetsume down even if he had nine lives. Repede would give a somewhat smile so that he did not lose his chewing pipe.

Rippa would wait until the man nodded his approval. He seemed confused to what Rippa meant but that was to be expected. After all this was the lightning country. Likely they were accustomed to this weather. Though the location seemed to be rather more focused in the element. Rippa wondered to himself ever so slightly why the man would choose such a location. It just seemed like a poor choice for not having distractions abound. Learning ninjutsu had taken some time for Rippa and a lot of it was with peaceful meditation. Still he had the go ahead to do as he liked with it. Rippa would smile before turning from the man and taking a slow breath. Inwardly he would focus his chi element chakra and focus it into a large amount. He rather enjoyed this part. Likely people in Kumo had no idea that such a thing as a blood element even existed. Rippa rather did like showing off and seeing the expression on the faces of those who were in no way expecting what came next. After all to some it might appear horrifying. Regardless on his exhale Rippa would allow a great deal of blood to emerge in a long bubble. Slowly sliding down to the ground but not falling between the cracks. Writhing and reforming itself as the large amount of blood flowed forward until he finished exhaling. There was at least the amount of blood in three human bodies there. With a shift of his hands the blood would shift and race across the ground. Getting fifty meters away from them before shooting straight up in the air. The bottom a base with veins sticking into the ground and the top a small point. As soon as the pillar was erected the lightning began to smash into it repeatedly but never denting it. After a minute it had discharged enough that the pillar would only attract a bolt every couple of minutes.

With that done Rippa would turn back to the man. Not a drop of blood rested on him nor did any stains mark the ground where the blood had passed. He would listen as the man thanked him before introducing himself and his pet, or as he stated his companion. Rippa would smile with his sky blue eyes shining and stroking the white stubble on his chin. The man continued on about explaining the location. So he was worried about hurting others was he? Fair enough though they could of picked a less hostile place. Starting with Ninjutsu their range wouldn't be more than thirty meters even with a catastrophic fuck up. His blue eyes took him in as bright as the clear blue sky as he bowed and Rippa would bow his head in turn before speaking. A smile on his face, in his eyes and on his words. "Ahh a pleasure to meet you Mr. Zix. An impressive rank. Lets see, well I am known as a few things. Dr. Chi Rippa is what I prefer when traveling, though many call me captain since I lead the Konoha sword saints. Though, I suppose for rank mine is rather simple. Sannin is what is on my transcripts."

Rippa grinned ever so slightly at that. Yes he was searching to impress the man. He rather liked it when people showed him the respect he had earned. It was a little bit of vanity but nothing he couldn't back up. Still he would wait for the mans response or reaction. Enjoying whatever it may be. Once that was said however the lightning would strike the pillar and he would glance at it. The pillar held strong still but he could only hold it for so long. It kept them safe all the same. Quietly he would remove his sheathed twin crossbow katana from his hips. The lever, hammer and trigger clearly visible on each along with the six cylinders marking the katana as something other than basic weapons. Rippa would sit himself down on the hard ground cross legged with his coat flattening out behind him. He would hold out his hand to indicate for Zetsume to do the same across from him. Setting his swords on his left and his right before holding out his hand to hopefully allow the dog to sniff it. He smelled of blood and metal but a small hint of medical chemicals with it. Rippa spoke with his eyes on the dog hoping it would at least acknowledge him.

"Tell me if you would Mr. Zix, What are your elements? Hobbies maybe? For this to go smoothly its good to know what common ground we share."

Never in his wildest dreams did Zetsume expect such a sight. While he understood basics such as the main elements and styles of combat, he never even thought that a shinobi could do what Rippa just did. Turning away from Zetsume, Rippa seemed to compose himself before a long bubble like stream came from his mouth. Sliding gracefully on the ground, each drop of blood constructed a make shift Blood Lightning rod that was rather efficient at keeping around them from being hit by lightning. Even though these grounds had their own Lightning Rods spread out, they did not hold as much efficiency as his own blood seemed to do. Then again wear and tear breaks all things down eventually. After a few bursts of lightning proved the strength of the new blood lightning rod, Zetsume seemed slightly on the edge of amazement and curiosity. Repede, unlike Zetsume, he knew bare minimal about any elements and thus his ignorance leads the dog's life into believing anything as it comes. To the dog, anything was possible and not much really amazed him, but none the less the dog did not like lightning so he seemed less on edge as it began to understand that what this man did would keep him safe. Most of the fight or flight instincts in the dog seemed to vanish and he turned into a friendlier dog in just moments. Turning back to Zetsume, Rippa spoke with quite impressive mannerism about his job description.

A Sannin from Konoha and he leads a group called Konoha Sword Saints. I figured he was strong, but this strong...Zetsume thought to himself as Rippa told him about his rank and leading skills. While Zetsume did respect the man even more than he did before, a certain kind of fear was felt deep within himself that should this man be a threat to Kumogakure, Zetsume would surely die trying to combat him. Rippa removed his coat and his weapons placing them down before sitting and gestured for Zetsume to do the same. Taking off his black coat, Zetsume placed it on the ground before sitting. He did not carry much, just his clans items but they can be conjured at any moment. Holding out his hand for Repede to accept, he spoke again asking Zetsume to describe things such as his elements and preferred hobbies. Repede who was in a much friendlier mood, sniffed his hand for a moment to get his scent before rubbing his head on the man's hand hoping for a pet. The dog, despite being trained for combat, was a lover pooch. Any and all kind of attention he aims for so long as Zetsume is not tense. The dog always looked to Zetsume to understand situations and what is happening. If Zetsume was not on edge neither was the dog. Scratching his head, Zetsume replied promptly, "I am proficient in Raiton, and I can use Katon, and Futon. As for hobbies, I would say nothing. I can not say that I have much time to enjoy such pleasures, far too busy trying to keep Kumogakure safe to indulge. When I am not out on missions, I am training as much as possible and eating when I can. I am sure you know how it can be. To tell you the truth, being an archer I tend to keep away from people even in social activities.
Even now I am worried about the striking distance we are and have between us. At this range, well I am sure those swords are not decorative ornaments. Then again that is assuming even at optimal range I stand a chance against you. Hahaha"
, He laughed a little loud hoping the man would not take it as a threat to be thinking of combat. Zetsume was a shinobi raised since a kid to observe his surroundings and make every detail count. He was horrible at talking about himself though, turning the subject on Rippa away from himself. "What about you though,
Sannin means you have been recognized as one of the three strongest ninja in your village. Quite an accomplishment that is not a laughing matter.
Also what is that thing?"
Zetsume pointed toward the structure that Rippa made. "Was that blood? It looks like blood if I have ever seen it. What is that if I could be so bold to ask."

Curiosity was one hell of thing, his mind raced to try to comprehend what it was. Nothing seemed to add up other than the man could literally produce blood. The infinite combinations that came through his head seemed to enter and exit before he could even properly focus on it. Zetsume would ask about what it was, but not how to fight against. If the man wanted to kill him he could, it is not best to try and find weaknesses. It would give off a bad vibe he felt even though that was another thought in his mind. Surely there was something to be learned but to press such a thing is more than offensive for his own way. He would have to be as kind as possible hopefully not to offend and provoke the man. Even out here it would be awhile until anyone showed up to notice Zetsume's dead body if he tried anything fishy. Zetsume however, would focus on the matter at hand. He had to learn Ninjutsu, it's destructive power was beyond his own measure as Rippa's act just displayed. Repede laid down next to Rippa with his head on top of his paws.

As the dog would sniff his hand and nuzzle it Rippa would smile happily and reach out to scratch it behind the ears. He was fond of animals as rarely were they as cruel as humans unless forced to be. The dog seemed visibly more calm with the pillar far away attracting lightning. It was true that there were other lightning rods but many were broken or rusted and on the verge of breaking. It was clear no one was brave enough or foolish enough to replace them. That aside they all only stood so tall so when his was erected as a much newer and taller version it had attracted a great deal of the lightning to it. He wondered just what it was that made this area so charged with electricity. Perhaps it was a holy ground for that reason. Something no one had an explanation for so it was rumored long ago that it was some sort of thunder god. He was curious about all of it but instead he watched the other man sit with him. No sign of weapons on his person was a surprise to Rippa. For a shinobi to meet a foreign shinobi. Perhaps he had something hidden away.

Still Rippa would pat the dog on the head lightly and let it rest between him and one of his swords there. His attention back on Zetsume as the man began to speak. It appeared they only had one element in common which Rippa was hoping for anyway. The chances of the man having anything akin to his blood element was more than slim. Though he could of worked with suiton. However Raiton was a simple blessing he rather enjoyed. Another bolt of lightning hit his pillar and Rippa let out a breath. Focusing the chakra to maintain it ever so slightly before turning his attention back to the man. Blue eyes showing interest in him even as he spoke of being an archer. Well it seemed they had much in common. Still the man continued in a way that drew concern to Rippa's face. He hinted at having little chance against him this close or far away. Was the individual frightened? Concerned for his health? Irregardless he continued on to speak about Rippa's title and was curious as to what Rippa had just done. Rippa would smile and blush just a little on his pale features. Speaking in return.

"You have no need for concern or fear of my Zetsume. I prefer peace to times of war and have no desire to jeopardize that. Learning ninjutsu at first takes control and focus. Fear in your heart will only sway you from learning of it. Ninjutsu is not just a combat art but can be used for good things. Lighting the way in the night, shielding the helpless and providing breath where there may not have been otherwise. Luckily we share raiton in common. As for being a sannin, I trained very hard to reach such a height and have done so by a narrow margin. Others of the generation after mine grow even now to catch up to me. My hobbies include mastering Kenjutsu and much like yourself I am an archer. Those swords are also crossbows. Lastly, that is indeed blood. My clan, the Chi, are a Konoha located clan and instead of being born to Suiton we are all born connected to our blood and chakra the same. Infused by the time we have matured enough to use chakra. It is my element and I use it well these days. I had not so much as a younger man. Now then, since we have Raiton in common, perhaps we can begin with that? If you succeed today we can even go and fire off some rounds at an archery range after."

Zetsume sat there with his legs cross and his arms resting in his lap as Rippa spoke about himself. He told Zetsume that there was not to fear, but still, times of war are ever present in their world. A friend today is an enemy tomorrow. While Zetsume wished not for such a thing, the mere possibility of it always kept him on edge, especially around other shinobi. That was the only reasoning behind his calling to this man. He needed the strength to combat this fear, and hoped that this man could provide such a thing. Love is the base from which all true pain is bred. Physical pain meant naught, the loss of loved ones will always destroy ones self and so Zetsume would have to try any and all means to prevent it. His blue eyes shined with such brilliancy every lightning strike that reflected in them as this stranger also spoke briefly more on himself. The clan's name when heard did not ring any sort of bells in Zetsume's mind. Chi, would now be associated in his mind towards his ability. The chances of meeting another this far away from Konoha was lower than minimal, the mere knowledge is power. Despite this man being so friendly and open towards Zetsume, he would not be so free willed in his own reply to him. It was in his nature to be distant, even in the event of asking for help. Zetsume would undoubtly lie to him about his clan's name in case he has heard of them, though they are a bunch of rich snobs that bleed not for what they say. It has been awhile since he even thought about his clan and his own people... It was better that way for him, distance keeps away all. The task at hand, Ninjutsu learning was all that should come into Zetsume's thought. He would try his hardest to not analyze this man to understand how to combat him should a time come. Such an impossible task for him. After Rippa spoke to Zetsume, Zetsume scratched his chin and thought for a moment before replying. To him, it is better to think before you speak so that thought can become clear and coarse. His clan was known to be subtle and direct, it would explain their claim to clergy like they would like to think. Even Zetsume adopted a similar manner of trying to analyze situations to a finite degree. Even though he some what got lost in thought,  he would not take much time before replying to the friendly shinobi that is about to help him. With alert eyes, he looked at Rippa before speaking in a friendly manner that had a little respect behind it not only for Rippa but for himself,"I hope I do not disappoint in being a student. Thank you for that brief look into your life, unlike you, I lived in mansions with servants for my servants. My clan, the Zix's, a group of rich cowards that hide behind their money. To be honest, I try not to speak much of them. We have nothing in our blood that makes us special, we are just adept at archery. Even children from the clan Zix are trained at early ages, building structure for archery. Even though I had anything I wanted, respect was what I never got. My parents were not so acknowledging of their own son, and now I am the highest ranking ninja from my own clan."  While most of what he said was true, the bits about his clan's name and lack of true ability were lies. For him, it was better to not show his hand before another that is not from his village even if they are kind. If the man really had no intentions of ever harming Kumogakure, maybe then Zetsume would speak honestly. Until then though, lies and distance is all that really rested in him. It was hard for him to trust the villagers from his village let alone a shinobi of such strength from another. "It is quite convient that we both share Raiton as an element. I am sure this information will aid in your teachings. While your blood lightning rod is quite impressive, I would love to see what else you can do...." his voice trailed as he left the gaze of Rippa and looked to the side towards the ground.

In reality, he wondered the devastation the man could produce. Maybe he could flatter the man to the point of showing off more, but that was his greed for knowledgeable combat information. An idea struck into his head as he spoke a little more excitedly, "I know, you could teach me a strong Raiton Ninjutsu. Since we both share the same element. I am sure it would not be easy, but I am willing to do all that is necessary to learn."Zetsume smiled a little before using his hand to run his hand through his hair revealing the scar that resided on his face that extended from his right brow across the bridge of his nose and slightly on his cheek. A memento of his dead fiance, what a bitch she was. The hair fell back down and covered it back up. Zetsume would have to play his cards right if he could gain an ally from this. Rippa, would undoubtedly be a good ally to have. That mere construct was a simple task for him, what would happen if a harder one was presented. Zetsume knew that without a doubt, that this Rippa, Sannin from Konoha had a lot to offer in a fight. Repede, laid there motionless as he dreamed of other things than this world seemed to offer. Despite the constant noise from the thunder and bright lights from the lightning, he was asleep.

Rippa would listen to the mans explanation of his clan. It appeared the man knew little of the chi clan after all. Truth was there were three branches to consider and yet the man had not asked anything to do with any of them. That his clan was so unknown was a surprise to him. All the more so as the man mentioned that he had been born to a wealthy clan as if Rippa had not. Of course the branch filled with doctors held wealth and coveted it. Most choosing to be doctors as they were too cowardly to help out in the field with the other clans. As such Rippa too was the highest ranking member of his clan. The head of his branch and here he was. Sitting across from someone far more similar to himself than he realized. The biggest difference was the zix focused entirely on archer where as Rippas branch had focused on medical. For a moment Rippa considered how much superiority in archer this man had. He looked forward to seeing how well he shot if they ever got around to firing off some arrows together. Perhaps he might even learn something from the man.

The man also acknowledge how useful their combined connection in raiton would be and Rippa couldn't help but to be in agreement with the young man. Having separate elements ran the risk of having too little in common to teach ninjutsu properly but with a shared element it was a rather simple task. However the man would turn back to him and speak once more. Rippa already had begun to build up a small amount of chakra but this question caused him to pause and hold it inside his chakra system. The man wanted a grand demonstration? Surely as a jounin he was aware of the risk. Rippa shook his head with a frown as he spoke.

"Sir, as you should well know attempting to learn a grander jutsu so soon is far to risky. One should master the levels of jutsu at a lower level and work their way up. Otherwise either yourself or I could be physically hurt or even killed. I must ask that you resist such an urge. Now, for starters the simplest jutsu that comes to mind can still cause burns but is more of a light source usually. Focus your raiton chakra into your right hand and condense it there, Envision it into sparks and hold your hand out pointing away from you or I. Once that is done you should release the chakra and your result should look very similar to this. Remember to let it flow out of you like energy and this happens."

Rippa would hold out his right hand then. His palm turned ever so slightly upwards, As he did the chakra built up would slowly emerge. At first a single red spark would come to life. As if opening the flood gates dozens would begin to fly out. However unlike normal raiton this crimson raiton seemed different,. More alive somehow as if it were electrified blood emerging. Along with the difference in color as it rained out something odd would take place. The space around Rippa and the raiton would darken visibly. As if somehow his raiton chakra absorbed light instead of providing it. Rippa could still recall his first experience after learning the element. It had shocked him at first as it had others. It wouldn't be until much later that he would discover his affinity to blood was the cause of it. Even now he could not produce normal raiton. His chakra was far too infused with his blood. Still he was eager to see his students reaction and his attempt.

The man seated before him, seemed not to want to try anything risky. Though deep down Zetsume knew why not, it was the fact should one of them be hurt, it would cause a mountain of paper work that no one wanted to try and explain how either of them got hurt. Zetsume was far too eager though in learning that he never even thought about the possibly danger that could happen should he try anything out of his strong comfort zone. Zetsume would try and learn instead of impose stupid questions like the one he just tried. It was an attempt to view more of the man's prowess and less of him wanting to start with a strong jutsu. Zetsume knew the dangers of using jutsus out of his or her own league. He had once hurt himself attempting to make a Black Raiton jutsu, but put it on the back burner until he could properly control it. With his frail body, it would be an easy task for him to accidentally kill himself trying something too strong. Zetsume thought for a moment, that perhaps this man was really trying to help him and yet his own fear would not let him let his guard down nor would it let him be open to the man. It was the only way he knew of protecting himself, and it would seem that even in the presence of someone so kind that he still could not bring himself to trust the man fully. Zetsume would continue with the lies as long as he could. It would not be good for him to let this man know too much of him. People are fickle and weird creatures with their own agenda, for all Zetsume knew, the man could be plotting his dead. Though he ultimately knew that the man would not cause him harm, but the thought.... was still there looming. With a somewhat disheartening sigh after Rippa said that they should start it easy. Zetsume was too much of in a rush to take it slow, but also knew he had to. This man came all the way from Konoha to help him train, the least he could do was follow his directions.

Rippa explained to him that he should focus his Raiton chakra in his right hand, to be sure not to point his hand toward either of them. Rippa held a small demonstration to show Zetsume. With his right hand turned up a small red spark seemed to come from his hand before dozens came out. While the two agreed that Raiton would be suitable for learning, he was using his odd techniques. Zetsume could tell from the crimson color that it must be related. He sat there, watching intently as the world around him seemed.... Darker. Even Repede looked around to see if the sun had set, but it was still late in the afternoon the two could tell by the shine of the sun through the dark clouds. This man's jutsu seemed to steal the light around them, or so to Zetsume's thought. Repede shifted a little away from Rippa, not knowing what was really happening. Zetsume knew that he could not produce what this man had, but the task given to him was simple enough. Instead of focusing his chakra to form arrows for him to shoot, he would instead focus it into a more unstable form. While doubt ensued him, he knew he could not let his new Sensei down and make his village look bad. Zetsume leaned a little close to get a better look before sitting back where he was. With his right hand held to the side of him, away from Rippa and himself, he began to imitate what the other man did. For awhile, it looked like nothing was happening. It was far harder for him to do this than make arrows, the whole structure of the jutsu style was entirely different. Zetsume seemed to stare at his hand intently as if a rabbit would pop into his hand. To him, he felt like he was trying to do a magic trick, it seemed almost out of his own reach. After a few minutes of concentrating that seemed futile, a small spark showed up in his hand but vanished about as quickly as it showed up. Zetsume laughed a little, hoping that Rippa would not mock his poor effort.

Come on body, we can do this. Do not let this man see you fail, he will tell all of Konoha how Kumogakure has an inept ninja. COME ON COME ON, he thought to himself while trying to make the jutsu that his sensei showed him a reality. He had to succeed, for his clan, there was not a single atom that could fail. Only success in the entirety would be viewed worth, any ounce of mistakes would be a scolding. Gripping his left hand on his forearm of his right hand, he tried again. Except this time, it seemed somehow easier. A few sparks popped in his hand, illuminating the darkness his sensei's ability seemed to cause. Though his attempt was better than the last by a few sparks, it was nothing like his sensei's. One of the sparks came dangerously close to smacking Zetsume in the face as he tilted his head to the side to dodge it before stopping his attempt. Zetsume looked at his hand, it seemed to not want to do what he wanted no matter how hard he tried. With a subtle sigh, he spoke to Rippa:

"You were right on the call for starting a smaller scale jutsu. While my attempt is clearly inferior to yours, I think I am getting the hang of manipulating chakra away from the style I am accustomed to, which is vastly different."

Zetsume stood up as if he was going to get better composure standing. With his body turned to the side away from Rippa, he tried again. Except this time, it seemed vastly easier than even the two previous times. Sparks of Raiton flew from his hand in directions as he stopped again afraid someone would get hurt though he knew that it would not cause anything more than minor burns which from the looks of it, would not even phase Rippa. With a fist pump into the air, he spoke again:

"Slowly getting the hang of this,is there anything you can tell me that you think could help with the chakra manipulation. I have some practice in molding chakra, but not like this...
This is something else..."
, his voice trailed off before sitting back down. Continuing his attempts as it slowly got easier and easier for him. He made sure to keep his sparks away from the three of them sitting. A few would light up the darkness, while some seemed.... Darker.... It was his violent side trying to come out. Since he was forcing it, his black raiton tried to make an appearance but anytime that happened Zetsume would laugh it off saying he was getting better... When in reality, he was worried that he would hurt himself if he pushed the limits. While he knew Black Raiton, he was unable to control it. It was a violent uncontrollable Raiton nature that somewhat cared him. Instead of trying to force it, Zetsume let out a deep long breath before closing his eyes. Shutting his mind off from the noise of thunder that bellowed, from the lights that came from his hand, from the worry of death. With his mind in a trance of zen, his hand held a very similar Raiton state to the one his master produced. While not quite as effective, it was a damn near clone of what his sensei had done. Zetsume smiled in confidence, though he knew that this was just the start of the training. Zetsume sat there looking at his sensei, with his hands in his lap, listening to anything he should say or give hints of. Zetsume would learn more from this man than he bargained for. Not that he was complaining, but it was unusual for him to want to talk to someone not from his village. Repede, was very uninterested in what was going on and went back to napping near Rippa, letting out small snores from time to time.

Rippa would sit calmly and watch for a time. The man seemed in good spirits and as well he should be. After all the man was no academy student. He was a Jounin of his village and likely that meant strength and experience. An academy student would spend months learning that simple technique and yet Rippa did not suspect he would be waiting so long. The man had experienced his raiton nature before. Used it in different ways to produce different things. Truthfully Rippa had not done a great deal of training into the raiton jutsu libraries he had access to back home but he suspected Kumo would have them in spades. If he were to teach this man as he was they would likely allow him access to at least the jutsu he would have had access to back home. To keep him enthralled within their community. They needed someone willing to teach or be taught within their nation. On the verge of turmoil as it were allies were important. Even if Konoha were more closely allied with Kiri Rippa felt a need to express how they were also at peace with Kumo.

Still he would watch in silence at the first attempt. His own hands resting on his knee's comfortably. He could feel himself willing the man to succeed. He could feel the stillness in the air as dry as it was even as lightning continued to rip into his blood wall. Tearing it down bit by bit as he held it firm. They didn't have much longer now. Still if the man could obtain just this jutsu. If he could bring forth sparks he would have gained access to ninjutsu. A potent a specialization as any. Near or far Ninjutsu was dangerous. Truly he hoped Mr. Zix had no intentions of turning it on him. Instead he would smile as a single spark came to be. For a moment he wondered if Zix saw it too before Zix tried again. His hand held wide to the side. Sparks flew randomly and he had to avoid hitting himself it seemed. He was increasing in potency each time. This time the man stood up and positioned himself. Steadying himself for the technique as once again sparks came out in mass this time. Again and again he tried though Rippa did notice a black spark here and there. A unique trait he had never seen before.

Even as the puppy returned to its slumbering ways Rippa would shift and collect his weapons. Placing them back on his hips as he rose to his feet. He would smile and move over to Zix patting him on the shoulder. A warm feeling of encouragment at his touch. He would speak then. His voice warm and kind as his smile met his blue eyes. Not a hint of malice in him, "Mr. Zix. Your chakra manipulation is fine. There is no secret cheat to perfection that I know of. If you but continue to practice I assure you that you will be able to do incredible things. I will demonstrate the next level of your ability for you. I want you to work towards it when we leave here. Obtain it at your pace before you seek me out again if you so choose to. I will be here for some time after all." With that Rippa would wink before stepping away from him and away from repede so the dog was in no danger. Carefully he would raise his arms to his sides and let his eyes roll back ever so slightly as he summoned forth even more raiton energy. The power pulsing through him as thin red lines would appear around him sparking to life. Growing rapidly into three, two foot long javelins. One above each hand and one over his head. Quietly he shifted his left hand up and over his head and the javelin above his left and the one above his head shifted with it. Forming into one five foot long javelin of dark raiton energy in his right hand. The massive thing surging with energy and darkening the world around them like the sun had nearly set. As if one would need a lamp to navigate. With that done Rippa hurled the javelin with a twitch of his fingers at twenty meters per second to pierce straight into the blood wall and through. Holding there a moment before finally the blood wall crumbled. With that the lesson was over.

Zetsume smiled a little as his new teacher and somewhat friend seemed to give him reassurance on his prowess and progress. Zetsume was not entirely trusting of other people from villages, but something deep down made him calm about Rippa. Almost like he could trust him and his kind manner. Perhaps deep down Zetsume did want and strove for peace just as most people. It was just that he knew exactly how evil and conniving humans were and this is what ultimately set him on edge. While Rippa gave no indication towards harm and even traveled this far to help him, Zetsume was still worried and calm at the same time. It was an odd level of anxiety that almost neutralized when Rippa touched his shoulder and spoke again in a friendly manner. For now, Zetsume would trust his words and hold him to his actions from here on out. For Zetsume, nothing is more sinister than betrayal and should Rippa decide that he will betray the trust that Zetsume had for him now, he would try everything in his power to exact his own will of justice should the occasion arise. However, even as that feeling came over him, Rippa would display one more display of power and even made sure to stay far enough apart from Repede so that he would not even be close to danger. The man knew his abilities to a precise T and it was rather inspiring for Zetsume to strive from. As the world darkened around him rather drastically, he watched Rippa as he formed multiple javelins before making them into one and quickly hurled the chakra at the blood wall crippling and destroying it with ease. Zetsume smiled a little as that was the type of offensive that Zetsume was accustomed to. Should he achieve that level of strength, something of similar sorts would undubitably be made and he would have to show Rippa in hopes that he approves. The more power he could obtain and recognition from fellow shinobi's would indeed prove to be a rather useful thing. In times when they must rely on the help of outside influences, it was good to have a strong bond and try to trust and believe one another. Zetsume will make a long range javelin like jutsu one day as he could see the use in having such a long range devastating attack. For now, he would stand up and bow to Rippa and spoke in a similar friendly tone. "Forgive my rude behavior, Rippa-San. I am uneasy when it comes to outsiders, but I hope this can bring a lasting bond and friendship shares between our villages. One day, perhaps sooner than you think I shall show you my progression, till then thank you again for coming all this way to help me learn from you and gain trust from your village. For too long have I been afraid to trust another from a different village, but this time I will try with you Rippa. Should you ever need anything, just seek me out and I shall aid you the best that I can. Till then, take care and try to enjoy your stay here as much as you can. Repede, say your goodbyes, it is time to go home."

Repede, lazily got up and brought his head towards Rippa in hopes for one last pet for reassurance on the friendship. For as long as Repede lives, he shall too trust in Rippa. After any petting or words to be said by Rippa in exchange, Zetsume will head off back to where he lives with a simple wave of a good bye with a lasting memory of this Rippa, from Konoha. He knew he would have to progress at a rather rapid pace should he want to impress this shinobi, but knew that it would have to wait for another day. For now, he had trained a fair amount to get started, plus Rippa did display the prowess to him and how useful it seemed to be. Zetsume was feeling a little accomplished despite his apparent rude behavior to Rippa sometimes. He did not mean to, it was just fear the drove him to be that way and when it came to Rippa, there was plenty to fear. Zetsume had only seen the bare minimal, he could only imagine what this man could do in actual combat. Zetsume and Repede would surely die, though Zetsume would hold fast to this new friendship. Hoping that the trust is not broken between the two, and he would from then on out, be more kind to Konoha shinobi that usual due to Rippa. Unless he was given a reason to not be, then he would revert back to his old ways.

Rippa would finish destroying his own jutsu and let out a small sigh of relief. Each time a bolt of lightning hit the blood wall it made him wonder just how much more it could handle. It was an impressive jutsu and for its purpose had served well. It was a beacon to the electricity in the area. Both the fact that it being a liquid making it a beacon and the fact that it being suiton base made it weak to said lightning was the same coin. Two sides of it really. Still he would lower his hands and look to the sky. It had purchased him some time without lightning strikes but he wasn't sure how long with it down. Already the storm clouds above seemed to be rumbling with renewed life. He would need to leave this place soon or face some potential danger. Still Zetsume suddenly bowing to him brought his attention about. His blue eyes would shift to the man and give his full attention as the man spoke up.

Repede, say your goodbyes, it is time to go home."

Rippa would bow his own head in turn and smile. A single jounin might not seem like too much an accomplishment to an outsider seeking to gain a positive influence with a nation but Rippa saw things differently. Zetsume while seemingly anti social was likely a very prominent member of the village. A capable man. In truth he being indebted to Rippa was a wonderful thing. If nothing else should Konoha need aid against someone other than Kumo there was a very potent man Rippa could call on. Possibly one of the nations strongest. Rippa felt he was stronger but had little doubt that if the two of them battled in this moment he would not leave without a mark. Still he would of liked to have a drink with the man sometime. However he suspected public places were not really his scene. Still he would pat repede without a word and wait for them to leave. He himself would quickly make his way from the dangerous area once they were gone just to get away from the lightning. Why the training had to be there was beyond him. It was far too dangerous. Still he would find his way back to the village and rest up in his hotel. It wouldn't be long into the evening though before he received an official letter from a messenger from Konoha he was used to using. The contents of the letter brought a frown to his face as it was all confusing. Still he would take a nap to regain his lost energies before setting out to find his horse. Already he was to be away from this place.
