Itami mountain. The most famous of the natural land structures dotting across Tsuchi no Kuni's terrain. While not technically within their borders, it is still recognized as a part of Tsuchi no Kuni's territory. Visited on a nearly yearly basis by tourist and adventure seekers, the mountain is infamous for the nearly impossible challenge it presents in reaching the peak for civilians and inexperience shinobi alike. Despite numerous of warning signs posted around about the dangers presented with the climb, they do little to deter seekers of a challenge.

Thanks to this, the number of people who disappear upon their journey to the top is in the hundreds with some speculation saying more. It's not uncommon for three or four people to go missing up there with monthly with many not being found till post-modem, and these are the known cases. For the most part, those unfortunate to die along the climb succumbs to their fate by the hand of nature, the dangers that the mountain present.

However, they are the lucky ones for hiding amongst the peaks there lies a monster, no, a demon in human flesh. A demonic entity who managed to escape hell, having survived the malicious environment with a smile on their demented face. Some say, not even Satan want the being back for it's primal aggression and vileness even made him shiver in fear. A myth, circulated between civilians, those murder by this being have their soul consumed, forever stuck in the beast's belly similar to what the legends spoke the Shinigami did. Thick like molasses, an oppressive killer instinct sticks to everything considered his, making even some of the hardened shinobi involuntarily shake in fear.

So, who is the entity who claimed the mountain as their own? To the civilians, the being is known as Angra Mainyu, a destructive false god with the only purpose is to cause evil and destruction. However, to the shinobi populace, Angra Mainyu is known as Chu-Bu. A prominent member of the criminal council who is in control of all gangs, yakuza, etc. in the region. If anything or anyone is being moved, Chu-Bu would know about it before it can even be packaged. If someone going to be killed, he would know months in advance. Like, many of the council members, he is in the constant know of everything that goes on in the underworld. When not being kept up-to=date with the criminal world, Chu-Bu enjoys one of his favorite pass times. . .

"Disappointment.", a deep baritone voice boomed in the clearing, the taste of evil and vileness being nearly palpable within those words. Beady red eyes seemingly made from the fiery flames of hell, peered down at an Iwa-nin, struggling to stand, with disgust. Towering over the one who dared to challenge him, the owner of said eyes tighten his grip on the massive club, that looking more like a tree trunk, before hefting with practical ease onto his bare shoulder. With a huff, a stream flowed from his nostrils, seemingly furthering scorching the already dry air, they turned around, making their way back to their massive throne built from an unknown material.

Before he could even make it back to his seat, the war cry of the once down shinobi, now running towards him before jumping with tanto drawn and aimed to split his skull, drew his attention. Chu-Bu's free hand lashed out, faster than the shinobi thought possible for a man of this size, seizing the ninja by their face. Dangling a couple of meters off the ground, the shinobi couldn't do anything but struggle into the iron-grip this demon had on them. "Weak.", was the last words the shinobi heard with immense pain followed accompanied by darkness.

Not paying the crumpled heap any mind, Chu-Bu sat on his throne with a scowl presented on his beardy face. Another weakening. Every shinobi who tried to kill him ended up failing. Attempt after attempt, none has managed to best him combat. None of them managed to ignite the thrill that comes with dancing with death. With a roar, Chu-Bu slammed his club onto the ground, causing a crater to form. What does he have to do to find a worthy opponent? He even allowed his location to be leaked for more challenges from Iwa, yet, they have only sent these weaklings! Where are the strong ones that Iwa boosted about? What --- a deep chuckle boomed from the mountain of a man as a thought came to him. Snapping his fingers, three bandits of none importance hurried came into the clear and kneeled at the feet of their commander. "Wake Shinobi-san up. But," he stopped them from doing what he asked, having more to add "I need to send a message. Maybe I should be specific on who I want."

Tossing a rusty kunai at one of the bandit's feet, no words needed to be said, as the bandit went about carving out the message into the unconscious shinobi's arm. With the deed done, the shinobi was violently awoken. "Listen, boss is only letting you live for you to deliver thy message on ya arm.", one bandit spoke with broken english, pulling the Shinobi's arm up to their face so that they could see the 'message'.

"Now you be a good shinobi and make sure ya people get. You understand?", getting a tentative nod from the shinobi, said bandit continued, "Now get! Lets hope ya nevar run into boss again.", the shinobi didn't bother in waiting any longer, disappearing amongst the trees as quickly as possible. They must get back. . .

"Tsuchikage. . ."

It has been some time since someone addressed him by his former title. A titled held for such a short time that he thought many had forgotten about it. Tsuchikage, he remembers the moment the position were bestowed on him. It being around the time of his best friend, Kazu, stepped down and later on defected. It were. . .the thoughts were pushed aside as he focused on the unconscious man before him.

"Give me some room.", spoken like a commander ordering others, the people surrounding him and the injured individual obliged without hesitation. Taking note of every visible wound, the bloodied arm of the unnamed shinobi caught Nanashi's attention. "What the ---", his words were cut short as he wiped the blood away from the limb, ignoring the gasps and seething anger from some around him, he read the words cruely craved into the tan flesh out loud, "Bring me a Sannin. Sincerely, Chu-Bu/Angra Mainyu."

Civilians and shinobi a like knew exactly who the entity where. While the civilians knew about the being through a circling myth and gossip, the shinobi knew the man for his unquenchable thirst for violence. Many of their comrades had fallen at the hands of this demon with only a few surviving only to deliver a message to Iwa about wanting someone stronger. Needless to say, many Iwa-nin had a seething hate for the criminal but, even though unwillingly to admit it, they knew fighting and killing said the man was unthinkable or a daunting task.

Like others, Nanashi knew the man for exactly the same reasons, but also because of another. Before becoming a shinobi, during his time in the criminal underworld, Nanashi heard murmurs of a violent teen rising up through the ranks. A teen holding unparalleled power and ability that made some of the older members wary. The last he heard was the teen managed to kill and successful overthrow one of the council members, something those impossible at the time, taking their place.

"I'm going to heal the majority of their wounds, and bring them out of critical condition.", he spoke, fighting back the urge to wince at the feeling of his chakra circulating through his system, "You two medics. After I'm done, take them to the hospital, and have their condition monitor. Whatever you do, make sure they survive. No family will weep the loss of their child.". Hold the half-tiger sign, green medical chakra covered his hands that were placed on the shinobi's body. Minutes passed as the moderate wounds were healed completely. Without missing a beat, Nanashi activated his Kekkai Genkai, a blue-ish sewing needle made from chakra manifested before eased into the shinobi's body. If one expected blood to come from the penetration than they were solely mistaken.  Instead, the chakra construct merged with the flesh, giving the body a greenish tint the majority of the shinobi's wounds were healed. Once sure the shinobi were out of the danger zone, Nanashi allowed his chakra to recede back into him.

Carrying little for the blood, Nanashi stood up as two medic-nins rushed to get, the now healed, shinobi to the hospital for further reevaluation. Looking around at some of the lingering shinobi and civilians, Nanashi spoke, his intention being clear, "Chu-Bu wants a Sannin. So, I will give him what he wants."  Getting nods from surrounding shinobis, he began walking away, "You want to come, Otter?", his voice being only low enough for the teen to hear. If the teen decided to tag along matter not to him, Nanashi planned on giving Chu-Bu what he desired. With that in mind, he headed through the gate, towards where the demon resides.

Otter would stand there as Nanashi ordered the people surrounding them to give him some room. He still had trouble grasping that he was the Tsuchikage. It just didn't seem like something that was likely, not because he was weak or anything, of course, but because the way he acted and spoke earlier didn't seem like that of someone that was in charge of a village. He didn't know much on Kage's and stuff like that, but he did know that usually they're stuck in their offices, teaching squads, or doing other leader stuff, not advising outsiders on those that may be eavesdropping, speaking about killing someone in public, and offering him help in killing someone out of revenge. Can someone truly be a Kage and still act as freely as he assumed Nanashi was before? There's also the question about what happened to Akira if this guy was Kage. Aiden knew that he had been gone for a while, but surely not long enough for there to be an entire shift in command?

Seemingly, the Otter took notice of Nanashi's beginning to say something before observing a specific wound on the Shinobi, a bloodied arm of sorts, when he looked over his shoulder to see what it was though, he dreaded that it was written down. It was definitely a disgusting scene, but couldn't whoever did this draw a picture on his arm instead? Apparently, unlike the dumbass standing behind him, Nanashi declared that he will heal the majority of the poor soul's wounds, and that he's going to bring them out of critical condition. Then, as he was seemingly about to begin, the apparent Tsuchikage would call out to the two medics that are on stand-by, commanding them to take him to the hospital, and to monitor the shinobi's condition. They are to make sure he survives, no matter what, to make sure no family weeps the loss of their child.

After he began forming some sort of incomplete hand seal, the Pestilence would go on to do the exact opposite of his name sake. He had formed a weird green chakra around his hands and seemingly, like magic, the shinobi's wounds began to heal in minutes, with seemingly moderate ones healed entirely within minutes. It was certainly quite the sight for Aiden, whom of which had never actually seen medical ninjutsu before, having only been treated with the more practical method of no magical chakra and a lot of pain. The show apparently wasn't over, either, as he could see something blue enter the guy's body, not even making him bleed when it entered! What kind of witch doctor was this guy, to have such an expansive medical knowledge? The body soon enough developed a greenish tint as well, and seemingly, as soon as it began, it was over, and now the Shinobi seemingly appeared to at least be able to live, though it looked like whatever was written on his arm would remain, at least partially.

Soon enough, right after Nanashi stood up both medical nin would be upon the body like vultures, rushing to him and grabbing him to bring him to the hospital for further evaluation. As the three had left, Otter and Nanashi would be left with the crowd, and as they stood there, Nanashi would begin to speak, mentioning some guy with a stupid name called "Chu-Bu", claiming that this guy wants a Sannin, and that he will give him what he wants. As some of the surrounding Shinobi had nodded in approval, the Tsuchikage that apparently just got a demotion to Saanin would begin to walk away, asking Otter if he wishes to come. Aiden would smirk in response, happy that the guy that is going to help him with his revenge was now asking him if he wants to come and see this Chu-Bu in the flesh. "Lets kick his ass." He would say as he accompanied him to the gates of the village, where he would begin to follow Nanashi to Chu-Bu's residence.

Later on in the day, the two would be moving along the trees within the forest, with Otter himself following someone behind Nanashi on all fours. He had gotten used to traveling by tree, though he must admit, he must be somewhat holding the Saanin back in regards to speed. If this guy named Chu-Bu was sending blatant messages to a Shinobi village, then clearly Nanashi is even more skilled than previously thought, to gain this monster's attention. With a name like Chu-Bu, Otter didn't expect much overall initially. In fact, if he was generally in a better mood he'd have laughed at the name, it sounded like it belonged to someone morbidly obese, and not someone that can dish out that kind of damage to someone. Honestly, he wondered what exactly he was unwittingly getting himself into by following Nanashi on this little field trip to what appeared to be the mountains, but then again, if he was willing to help Otter hunt his own monsters down, then it was just a thing of loyalty that Otter would help him do the same, and aid in ridding the village of the bastard before another person gets harmed.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DOT DOT DOT

Misami would stand before the mirror, looking at her own reflection. She was still coming to terms with it, with how she has went from being a servant of Daiki to becoming his representative for Chu-Bu, a bodyguard of sorts until the time came for her to attempt the assassination he wished her to perform and raise him to replace the monster. She would stand there in her light grey Gi, with the large head covering of a basket hat placed at her feet. Her right hand would be over her mouth, feeling every painful stitch that had been sewn into her mouth to help keep her silent. As much as she wanted to struggle against being the kind of person he made her to be, for some reason she just couldn't. She still held her original feelings towards him, and she felt like she had free will, but whenever he commanded her to do something for some reason she can't bring herself to refuse, it's as if she was being toyed with constantly, having been left with the feeling of being a human, but when the time comes, she is reminded of her role as a tool, a weapon, and a message.

As she stood there though, observing herself in the mirror, only just recently having finished cleaning her blade of the blood of that Shinobi, she couldn't help but feel happiness. She had been in this position for a few weeks, and the entirety of the time she had no clue what sort of plan Daiki truly had until she entered the bazaar, seeing that boy once more, the escaped pet with a tail, the reason why she was left muted and silent, and the last good deed she had done. She was happy that he had came this far, that he tasted freedom, and such a happiness was rather bittersweet, as while she had been keeping his presence hidden from Daiki, she knew there will come a time where she will kill him herself, not because of a petty revenge, but because only fools die from the past, and this certain fool was definitely looking into his own. 'Forgive me, ancestors, the pain I bring is something I can't control.' She would think to herself as she would pick up the basket hat, placing it over her head and shrouding her appearance once more before grabbing her katana, heading outside to help mentally prepare herself for the saanin that will certainly come and meet herself, the other bodyguard, and the devil himself.

The two had finally arrived at the mountain base, standing right before a great clearing, seemingly out of view. This clearing had most certainly served as the entrance into the place where the devil would certainly be waiting. Squatting there, Otter would stand up fully, looking at Nanashi. "So, we gonna swarm him or what's going to happen? I never heard of this guy myself so I have no idea how to proceed." He would ask and inform the Saanin, hoping he would help him out a little and tell him what's going to go down, along with any information he may have on Chu-Bu and anyone else that may be within it. As he spoke, however, he felt a something small and hard hit him in the back of his head, making him turn around to see who it was. When he looked, all his eyes would catch would be a foot disappearing behind some trees. "I'll go see whoever that is, you go on ahead and kill this guy. I don't want anyone sneaking up on us." He would say as he would leaving the clearing, entering the small forested area that made up a small section of the mountain.

Vile and malicious, the killing instinct saturating the area, threatening to swallow everything in the vicinity, were felt immediately by the duo's arrival. The sheer intensity of Chu-Bu's bloodlust, an insatiable hungry for combat and bloodshed, were immense, and a less man would've been frightened by it. Oppressive and domineering, the intent rolling in waves off the mammoth of a man tried to beat you into submission, before the battle could even commence, to devour you at the demon's leisure. Crashing into them mercilessly, like ocean's waves during a violent storm, trying to bring them to their knees in servitude.

Unlike the bandit, standing not far off from the demon in human flesh, Nanashi weren't shaking while being assault by the killer intent. The Sannin, with silver hair reaching almost the small of his back, had experience intent worst than this in his lifetime as a shinobi. He had stood in the presence of others who aura dwarf what Chu-Bu was unconsciously leaking. So, yes, while the bandit, shaking like a leaf in the wind, could barely stand to be in the man's presence, Nanashi founded himself unaffected.

With his partner gone to take care of another nuisance, Nanashi took a step into the clearing, drawing the demon's eyes upon him. The area where the only spectator being death itself, looking upon gleefully in anticipation for the show to start. Nature itself stood still with baited breath and eyes on the clearing where the combatants were, waiting to see the purest form of brutality where even the smallest mistake can spell one's demise. Nature has a reputation of being brutal and unforgiven, however, it knows what's about to occur would put anything it could do to shame.

"Chu-Bu.", acknowledging his opponent by their name, a small sign of respect, Nanashi didn't bother giving the bandit the same courtesy; he would be dead soon anyway. It wasn't arrogance on his part, merely an undeniable truth, this wasn't a place for an insignificant being like said bandit.

The silence having descended upon the area was broken by the deep baritone voice of Chu-Bu, "Guanyin Nanashi. A former worker of Okiya's Geisha House, now one of Iwagakure's famous Sannin and leading medic. Almost seems like a step-down, doesn't it? I mean, being a former Tsuchikage, and all. Then again,", raising up from his throne, his towering form casting a shadow across the area, "Consider your masterful skill at killing, I doubted working behind a desk suited you." Hefting the giant club onto his shoulders, the ground shook as he took a step forward into the arena. "Finally," boulder size muscles tensed, thumb-size veins visible underneath the tan skin, as with a shout, that could be heard for miles, billowed from him as the restraints on his chakra were released, blowing the throne to smithereens, "They sent me a worthy opponent!"

No longer could the intent rolling off Chu=Bu be considered vile and malicious. No, those words are too kind to describe the demented, twisted, mind-maddening aura that threatens to snuff out everything in its surroundings. It breathed down on you heavily, causing involuntary shakes, and makes you want to end your own existence rather than face the person, no demon, who possessed such a terrifying presence. The first casualty on Chu-Bu's intent being his bodyguard. The unnamed man's body falling lifeless to the ground, his blood painting it,  his throat being slit by his own hand.

With the monster's intent being clear, Nanashi decided to do the same, releasing his own restraints. The familiar sensation of his chakra actively moving brought about a tinge of pain, the discomfort not being visibly shown. Unlike his adversary, the killer intent eluding from him wasn't vile. No, the pale green miasma wafting off his frame corrupted the very environment itself. Anything and everything became tainted with an aggressive disease that spread rapidly. Goosebumps and hives formed on the weak-minded, stomachs turned, and one had to hold back the need to empty their stomach contents. Nearly palpable, it could be tasted on one's tongue, causing them to gag in reflex.

Nanashi didn't move from where he stood, allowing his aura to battle against the so-called demon before him. However, this all changed when Chu-Bu flickered out of existence. Before the movement could've been complete, the Sannin was already on the move, jumping at an angle, dodging the club that impacted where he once stood, the demon's eyes already upon him. Dirt and debris flew up into the air from the impact, obscuring his vision briefly, something Chu-Bu took advantage of by pivoting, his other club smashing through the cloud, impacting with something. A fine bloody mist along with chunks of flesh fell from the sky. However, the remains weren't those of Nanashi's but that of the dead bandit's. The Sannin having substituted with it to escape the second blow.

A deadly game of cat and mouse were played by the combatants with Nanashi dodging Chu-Bu's blows with an almost scary accuracy  Soon, the game became boring for the Sannin, and he decided to end it with his signature technique. Appearing not that far from the destroyed throne, Nanashi patiently waited for Chu-Bu to attack him. Sickly green chakra flowed around his frame, wrapping him in it's comforting embrace, forming a chakra cloak with a two-meter radius. Before Chu-Bu could reach him, the council member's flesh was already rotten beyond recognition. Chunks of it falling off as black goo, splatting on the ground, as the towering man fell before the Sannin, speaking only a few words that were only heard by the silver-haired male.

"I will.", he spoke, answering the dying man who, seconds later, succumb from the injuries. Calling back his chakra, Nanashi walked over to the dead man, stabbing a kunai at the base of his spine, and severed the rotting head. Said head would be sealed with a scroll along another - proof of him having completed the mission.

Catching up with Otter, Nanashi went about healing the teenager's wounds before making the trek back home.

Otter Aiden

Otter Aiden

D-rank
The more Aiden had followed this stranger that had tossed the rock at him, the more he grew curious on what her identity was. She must have recognized him, or at least wanted him to get separated from the Saanin, as she specifically threw the rock at him, meaning that she wanted him and only him, and he intended to fully give her what she wanted. She was recognizable somehow, and as he was running through the small forested area in order to give chase after her, he would begin to put pieces of the puzzle together, but still wouldn't rid himself of her mystery. He recognized that light grey outfit and the basket hat from the marketplace. This person was in the crowd, someone Aiden didn't glance at more than once, meaning that she was by far no ordinary person, and she most certainly had some sort of idea involving him as well. It wasn't just that, however, it was just something about her that made him curious about her identity. It was as if she was someone he should know, but can't recognize, and that both excited and disturbed him at the same time.

Soon enough, he would lose sight of her for a few moments, which confused him greatly, as he had her in his sights completely, but then, the entire environment began to change! It was as if he was on some kind of high, as the world around him would swirl and disappear, and soon enough below his feet would be a shallow amount of water, and when he looked around, he realized he was in a small clearing, one of which had a small body of water nearby, and he was standing right at the edge of it. As he would look around, wondering what the hell had just happened, he would feel something lightly bump into his feet, making him look down again to see a bucket hat float his way, stopping at his feet. This caused him to look up at the middle of the body of water, spotting the female there, and as he spotted her, the look on his face changed from neutral to shock.

"M-Misami?"

DOT DOT TRANSITION FOR DRAMA DOT

'Stupid boy, he accompanied the Saanin here..' Misami would think to herself as she stood in the middle of the body of water, her left hand resting on the sheathed handle of her weapon. She hoped he didn't come, that he instead made himself harder to find afterwards when she would have to seek him out, so capture or kill him. She didn't want or expect him to really come after Chu-Bu as well. This was a boy that had just recently escaped being in a cage, and now he was apparently a Chuunin of a Shinobi village, vital information she must keep secret for a while longer, as if he had received the help from that man, and they end up killing Chu-Bu, then perhaps there is hope Daiki will be next as well. Still, to place that sort of responsibility on him, to force him to have to face her, the first person that helped remind him that he's human, a small tear would begin to form out of her right eye. She would brush it away, however, and not say anything as she would move her messy black hair out of her way, allowing her to see him fully.

It was time to begin this, and so she will, and hopefully he has the sense to run away, because if he doesn't, he will surely die. Running forward, her right hand would grasp the handle of the blade, ready to draw it and slay this new enemy of Chu-Bu, and this old enemy of Daiki himself.

DOT DOT DOT PLEASE NO MORE

Aiden would be surprised at the very fact that Misami was here, not to mention that she is now a warrior, a bodyguard for Chu-Bu, and certainly faster than him. What surprised him most out of that wasn't that she became skilled, or even that she worked for Chu-Bu, but that her mouth was seemingly sewn shut, and she was now attacking him as if he were the enemy rather than greeting him as an old friend. Forming the Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog, and Snake hand signs, Aiden would take off his black jacket, tossing it three meters away right as she closed in on him. With a frightening slash of her blade, one of which he had trouble following initially, Aiden would disappear with a puff of smoke, and in his place would be his jacket, cut apart by Misami.

"Why are you doing this?!" The shocked Chuunin would ask, clearly not wishing to battle her. Aiden would only receive silence in return as Misami would break out of the smoke, rushing towards him again, her weapon sheathed once more as she would quickly close in on him. As she closed in, the Otter would continue casting hand seals, casting the dog, monkey, and hare hand seals successfully as she would close in. As she did once more, however, two Otters made of water would move past Aiden, jumping towards and catching Misami off guard, slamming into her and knocking her back a full meter, while two more would come. As one would be on stand-by, the other would dissolve into a puddle of water, one of which connected to the small body of water nearby. Quickly, he would run out into the water, a thin coat of chakra covering his feet as he did so. He could already feel his speed increasing as his tail had touching the water, waving lightly but quickly, helping him increase slightly more in speed and aid him in getting away more quickly than before.

When he reached the middle of the body of water, he would turn around, only to see her blade Alice through the remaining Otter, with she herself now charging towards him, weapon drawn. "You.. you give me no choice, Misami." As he spoke, he would cast the Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Ox, and Dog hand seals, causing a two meter long Otter to force its way out of his mouth, landing in the water and swiftly swimming towards Misami, whom of which would now be three meters away. As it neared, the water construct would curl up into a ball before erupting just above the water, releasing a small cloud of bubbles in a half-meter radius area around it, which in turn would erupt just as Misami was next to it, causing her legs to be caught in the ensuing blast of steam, leaving her right leg, which was nearly touching the otter, to have major second degree burns, while her left would only have minor burns, seemingly helping in slowing her down.

Her facial expression didn't change at all, to his surprise. The burns had already set in, and yet it was almost like she couldn't feel the pain of the attack, as if she wasn't capable of feeling what had just happened, only shrugging it off as a nuisance that only served to slow her down. Aiden would begin to back away, but it would be too late. Even when she's moving slowly, Misami moved quickly enough to keep up with him, and before he knew it, he ended up with the front of his pink shirt cut open, and a his chest already forming what appeared to be a cutting wound, one of which would already have begun to leak blood, leaving the warm liquid to begin to dribble down his torso. He would look towards Misami with a terrified look on his face and seemingly, to his surprise, despite going in to a second, more secure strike, she seemingly hesitated, allowing him to deactivate his supernatural walking practice, leaving him to fall into the water with a splash, submerging him entirely.

"Can you say "Misami, Little Otter?"

"Mi... Misamai?"

"No, but you're almost there. Mii-Saw-Mii"

"Mi... Misawmi."

"Yes, young one, Misami. You're talking, Little Otter, did you realize that?"

The young child would look at the smiling woman's face through the bars of his cage, seeing her express these odd feelings toward him, acting in a sort of way he hasn't seen towards him. He was eight at the time, and his half-naked form would be on all fours within the cage, looking up at her with his head tilted. She was acting.. nice, that was the word, yeah? She was a nice person, someone he had felt something towards, a feeling he hadn't felt in a long while, and now, he can pronounce her name, and the look on her face when he did so, that smile, it was a look he could never forget. Now though, as this short flashback had clouded his vision for a half-second, he was looking up at her from under the water, his own little cage, and he could've sworn that, at that moment, he had seen a smile on her face once more.

'Misami..' He would think regretfully to himself as he flipped over, his stomach facing to the bottom of the body of water while he himself would begin to swim away, his tail now kicking into full-gear and helping him make a faster getaway than before. Suddenly, the sharp gleam of a blade would appear before his face, causing him to force himself to make a sharp turn, attempting to swim away from it. Another one would drop down, and another turn would occur, and another, and another, until Aiden was close to land. He had to get out before he was skewered, he had to-

He would cry out in pain underwater as the back of his wet, pink shirt would be cut, and another wound would be left behind, the blood leaking into the water, making it look like a small red mist formulating underneath it. Shortly afterwards, he would nearly fly out of the shore and onto land, crawling his way out of the water, gasping for breath and laying on his right side, trying to recover himself. He would look upwards as a shadow came over him, seeing the face of Misami once more, though now her face was that of remorse, and he didn't know if it was the water from the battle or something else, but he could have sworn he had just seen a tear drop from her right eye.

"Y-you don't have to do this, Misami! Please, just go away! Drop your weapon and leave!" He would plead with her, though as he laid there, seemingly cowering, he would already have formed the Tiger seal, his secretly cast jutsu having come into play. Misami, however, would raise her weapon, and Aiden at this point would be releasing a vapor from his mouth, which already had begun to form into little, baseball-sized water globules. Just as the female warrior would bring her blade downwards upon him, the tip clearly aiming for his throat, she would be taken by surprise when a pair of arms would wrap underneath her own, twisting around and locking the hands behind her neck, forming a headlock and stopping the attempting kill. "I'm sorry.." would be all Otter would say as the globules would erupt, creating a large froth of seafoam, covering Otter, Misami, and his clone. After that, the injured Chuunin would begin to struggle through the foam, crawling out first before he would be able to get on all fours, which then he would make a break for it, attempting the reach the clearing.

Running through the forested area once more, Aiden would stop for a short moment, running his left hand gently over his wound on his chest before checking the one on his back. From what he could tell, the chest wound was only about an inch deep, while the one on his back was a little over an inch and a half. Overall, he thinks he can get out of this pretty okay, overall, he just needed to try to lose Misami in this place, try to make her get lost or something and give up, going back to wherever she came from. As he was nearing the clearing, however, he would feel a sudden, sharp pain in the back of his left leg, causing him to yelp and tumble over, pretty much skidding along the grass and leaving him just before the clearing. Looking down at his injured left calf, he would see what looked like a broken piece of a sword sticking out of it, having pierced into his leg by around two inches, and seemingly he could see the distant figure of Misami creeping towards him, broken sword in her right hand as she would stumble near, being around six meters away.

"Shit!" He would exclaim as he turned around and got on his right leg, using it and his arms to help him try his best to limp into the clearing, where he would enter it, falling down to his side just before it. It would be there that he would see the burned figure of Misami appear out of the trees as well, nearing the clearing, but as she got closer and closer, her grey eyes watching Otter, she would seemingly stop. He would catch her looking away from him for a few moments. This was his chance! Inhaling and forming the horse hand seal, Aiden would suddenly begin exhaling what seemed to be smoke out of his mouth, the smoke itself moving forward like a quickly moving fog, aiming to overtake Misami and some of the forested area. When it did, he would remain at the edge, though suddenly, his tail would catch flame, the oils generally kept on it to help him traverse the water used as an ignition source.

"Get the hell away from me!" The Otter would yell as he would swipe this flaming tail through the smoke just once before lunging out of range of the ensuing blast by around three meters, saving him from being burnt to a crisp. He would land fully into the clearing, the shard of the sword still being stuck in his left leg, watching the ensuing explosion with fearful eyes as he kept trying to calm himself down. The forested area would catch flame, and seemingly coming out of the sky and piercing the ground a meter away from Aiden himself would be the other portion of the blade, still partially red hot from the heat of the blast. It was finally over, he was safe, and he was victorious. Looking further into the clearing, he would see if the same can be said for his Saanin friend.

It would be there that he would see the headless corpse that he could only assume was Chu-Bu, whose body was rotted beyond recognition, and the meat paste that was his body guard would be fairly nearby as well. 'What the hell..' he would think to himself as he would reach for the shard embedded within his left leg, pulling it out of it with a loud yelp before looking back as this disgusting sight. Black goo was seemingly falling off of this man, and all that would be left would be Nanashi, whom of which already came over to him and began healing his wounds. This was actually over, and all Otter could feel from this was a conflict in his emotions, and a regret to what he had to do to his own enemy, his own lifelong friend. Having been healed, Otter would pick up the broken blade by the handle, bringing it with him as he followed Nanashi back to Iwagakure, deciding that Daiki has yet another thing to pay for.
