The sun shone past the clouds, a grey, soft light spreading across the grounds of Iwagakure no Sato. The mountains and hills surrounding and making up the land of stone’s hidden ninja village were clear in contrast, the looming threat of a storm showing more details than perhaps are fitting. Birds sang their morning songs, and people went out and about to gather items needed before the lunch rush, or perhaps to grab themselves a breakfast. The diluted light gave a comforting chill, not too cold, yet cool enough that one would imagine there would be increased potential of a precipice. Ice nipped on the windows and the ground, grass frosting up from the remnants of the winter past.
Bare feet crunching on the ground, a large, hulking behemoth of a chuunin walked with a spring in his step. Hairy feet and legs led up to, fortunately, shorts of a dark grey hue, and a white vest top covered by a black jacket. A chain of a silvery metal hung loose around his neck and shoulders, akin to how one would expect a scarf to be worn, and around the thick neck of the figure, the forehead protector of the stone village was tied, like a collar on a dog. On the person’s hands, long, claw like nails could be found, and the masculine facial feature showed clearly the muscular definition, a large toothy grin upon his face. Sat on his chin was a sharp, pointed black goatee, and his hair was one like the man had been electrocuted. At the man’s side was an also large life, a caramel furred brown bear with a white streak on its snout, and down its stomach length. Around the neck of the bear was a forehead protector, like the one the man wore, and the creature just plodded along, seemingly disinterested in the world, or at the very least what it was doing. Olive eyes on the large guy scanned the area of gathering morning crowds, his breath misting as he continued to smile, nodding to himself as he stroked the bear on the head. Oki Kuma and Debu, the bear duo of Iwagakure.
The duo walked to the main square of the living quarter, looking around curiously as the large bear chuunin hummed, stroking slowly at his goatee with a nod. He crouched down next to his bear, smiling as he rubbed the animal on the head a bit more. “Okay my friend! We have to do the groceries today, but before that, is there anywhere you would like to go? We wrestled yesterday, so, what we do today is your choice my friend! So! What will it be little Debu?!” he declared, his voice like a roar that, if anyone was sleeping near by, they were not for long – there was no such thing as sleep with a loud mouth like Oki around. The response of the bear? To just lie down, and roll around a bit, huffing lazily. Humf.
