Kekkei Genkai Name: Shizukera [Silence]

Kekkei Genkai Description: The special ability of the Yuurei is unlike that of most clans that tend to specialize in a certain element or ability. This ability, the Shizukera, is passive. It suppresses the user's chakra pool, making it so that he or she cannot be sensed. In other words, they have no chakra signature that can be picked up. However, the degree to which this is true depends on the rank of the shinobi in question:

• D-rank ninja: Can hide from C-rank chakra sensory.
  
• C-rank ninja: Can hide from B-rank chakra sensory.
  
• B-rank ninja: Can hide from A-rank chakra sensory.
  
• A-rank ninja: Can hide from S-rank chakra sensory.
  
• S-rank ninja: Can hide from SS-rank chakra sensory.
  
• SS-rank ninja: Cannot be detected by chakra sensory at all.
  

To add to this, the Yuurei are generally also soundless, appearing as if truly ghosts on a mortal realm.

• They emit no sound whatsoever unless they are speaking unless stated otherwise.
  
• Their movements are completely silent unless stated otherwise.
  
• Their weapons emit no sound through swings, e.g. from wind displacements, unless stated otherwise.
  
• They do not project a shadow when they walk, and leave no footprints as they step on the ground.
  

Lastly, the Yuurei mature very slowly and often look younger than their true age. Consequently, they can live up to 150 years of age.

Drawbacks: The Yuurei's ability arises from their ability to suppress their chakra pool, emphasising stealth, though this comes with a few drawbacks:

• Suppression of their chakra pool over the years has led to a permanent 40 point reduction to their chakra pool. Should Yuurei choose to take Senjutsu, they do not receive the +20 chakra until their Senjutsu is S-rank.
  
• The results of the experiments which born the Yuurei have shortened their stamina considerably. Therefore, they must take 'Fatigue' as a negative characteristic without being able to balance it with a positive one.
  
• Additionally, due to their familiarity in executing stealth techniques, they're poor at close-up fights. As such, they suffer a –1 tier to Strength.
