1 I'm going to train abroad![Sunagakure to Kumogakure] Mon Feb 20, 2017 12:38 pm
Sun Bulate
D-rank
It was early morning when Sun decided to leave the bed. In fact, she had not slept at all. She was so excited about leaving Suna. She wanted to see all the new things that world could offer. What was Kumo going to be like? Great sights, wonders, ninjas, adventures awaited Sun. And because of that she just couldn't close her eyes. About 5:30 AM she got up, put on her kunoichi clothing and went downstairs.
In fact, her parents couldn't fall asleep either. The mom had prepared porridge for Sun to eat before leaving. Dad had brought some expensive strawberry jam to make the porridge taste the best. Sadly, Sun couldn't force herself to put more than a few spoons of the food in her mouth, she was just too excited and couldn't sit tightly. And neither could they parents - who could blame the Sun family for feeling like this the morning their daughter was to leave. It was for greater good, of course - they believed that Sun needed to receive the training from someone outside Bulate clan - but just as good medical-nin. They had set the goal that Sun would only return once she had reached special jounin ranking from an official. Then she would be strong enough to make a lasting change in Sunagaure.
After giving a warm and tight hug to her mother and father, Sun jumped in her shoes, took her medical bag and left. The mom was not hiding her tears, the dad however was trying not to cry, but he couldn't hold them all in and ocassionally let some slip by his cheeks. The two waved goodbye and watched until Sun disapperead in the streets of Suna in the warmth of the rising sun. Except she didn't actually disappear. The sight of her was just blocked by other buildings.
There was no problem getting through the gates for travelling was free whilst Kazekage was absent. Guards had heard hundred times about Sun's plans to visit Kumogakure, therefore they didn't check their belongings or passport. It wasn't like the girl of Bulate clan was now a spy for The Land of Clouds and was carrying vital information with her. They just urged her to return soon - it was good to know that a medical-nin like her was at village's disposal at any time.
Her travels were to last about 4 days. She took some energy bars with her just in case she doesn't find an inn, but she was very determined to get a bed to sleep in every night. Like a spoiled girl - she wanted comfort when she could afford it. B rank missions she did before leaving paid very well after all. She saved most of the money to spend in Kumo - for accomodation, food, souvenirs and maybe even some specialized training. But she was very keen on staying at expensive inns during her travels too - perhaps she just didn't recognize the value of money and how fast it can be spent.
The scenery was dull though. It was boring and repetitive. Sun soon got sick of it. Just sand.. sand.. sand. Maybe a cactus after a kilometer. Or a sand scorpion after another kilometer. But otherwise - just scorching sand. There were some landmarks, yeah - like canyon with huge drop in the middle (you wouldn't want to jump down there). There were also abandoned villages - you could only see roofs above the surface of sand. It was spooky sight to see just a fine village destroyed by the force of nature.
But soon she wouldn't need to face this. She was going to enter a new world. Her life is going to change, like after traversing a portal.
