Ryo smiled as he got his orders from the Jounin that had contacted him. He was told of a giant scorpion that was starting to terrorize a small bit of houses. They weren’t all that far from him, and it would be a relatively simple matter for him to get there and take care of the problem. The pay was nice, but really none of these reasons were why he took the mission. The real reason he took the mission was because of what the creature was. It was a large Scorpion and from the dimensions of the insect he was given it only made him all the more sure he needed this creature. He needed the tail in order to add it to his next puppet. Kuro needed a brother, and so he would be sure to cut off the creature’s tail and hold onto it to add to his next puppet. The trick would be how to disguise it as a wolf’s tail, but he was sure he could think of something. So with his goal in mind he headed straight towards his mission’s location where the scorpion was last seen.

The houses were on the outskirts of the village and thus were certainly an easy target for a large animal like this scorpion. As he walked to the houses he decided that he wouldn’t risk Kuro in this fight so he would be on his own in this fight. It didn’t matter to him all that much because he was perfectly ready to fight without the use of his puppet. Upon entering the area he could already hear the scuttling of claws on some of the stone walkways that were dotting the place. Instinctively, he reached for his scroll, but then remembered what he had decided and didn’t bother going for it. Instead he pulled out his Kunai knife ready just in case something weird happened. He didn’t have long to wait as no sooner had he passed a small house than the foundation shattered the arthropod emerging snapping his large claws at Ryo. Ryo was quick and he back peddled out of the way his hands coming up in the shape of guns he was quick to start focusing his chakra there in order to make sure he hit his target at the same time dropping his kunai.

From both hands emerged two bullet like projectiles of chakra slamming into the scorpion shocking it several times. A total of four shots hit the scorpion causing it to jerk upon each strike hitting it. It clearly wasn’t expecting to be damaged by such an attack and it reared its tail back lashing it at everything and anything smashing up more of the simple house it was near. This would be a blow for the people who owned the house, but it wasn’t something that Ryo could afford to worry about right now being that he had much more pressing and urgent matters on his mind and plate. The Scorpion recovered from his rude awakening with jolting electroshocks and charged at Ryo whom was the cause of them. As it charged its tail lashed out trying to pierce into Ryo. The Scoprion was fast, but as it neared to strike Ryo kept firing away with his hands like they were real guns firing as fast as he could form the chakra. Even as he backed away only narrowly avoiding the stinger he was firing. Now at seven shots, then at ten, and finally fifteen shots were sent towards the scorpion. Ten of the five were hits, but it wouldn’t be near enough to bring down the insect.

With another lash of his tail he managed to pin Ryo again the wall of another house. It was a hard hit and so Ryo was dazed from it. This made him slump against the wall which was the only thing that saved his life. As the tail lashed out again sinking right where his head would’ve been. This caused the arthropod to become stuck thrashing and wiggling trying to pull its tail free. Yet, the time it took to do so gave Ryo enough time to recover and activate his own attack. Bringing his hand to his mouth as if he were going to play a trumpet he expelled a great blast of water straight out swamping the scorpion straight in the face sending it skittering back with the water being forceful enough to break it free of the wall, and creating a gap between the two combatants. Ryo wouldn’t give the scorpion time to recover if he had anything to say about it, and he did. Weaving more hand seals he brought his hand up the water coming from the ground slicing through the ground and heading directly towards the arthropod.

The Scorpion didn’t know exactly what was going on, but he charged at Ryo only to have one of his legs be sliced into by the jet of water. It reeled back in shock from the pain looking to the water that was coming towards it. Being an unintelligent creature it tried to snap the water between its claws, for its trouble it only managed to get the water torrent slicing into its face causing it to scream in a sense. The sound was chilling, but the pain and loss of at least one eye was enough to make it try and flee from Ryo. He wasn’t going to allow it to do so however and he dove for his Kunai which he saw a few feet away. Snatching it up he turned on the scorpion as it retreated from the attacking water and from the pain. He rushed forward and leapt upon it’s back stabbing his blade into the back of its neck as slipping the blade between the armor and stabbing into the creatures head. The bug writhed and snapped its claws the tail went flying over Ryo’s head only narrowly missing him, but the water kept coming slicing into the scorpion again pulling another strange strangled cry from it.

The wounds it had taken finally became too much and it collapsed right under Ryo it’s body being continuously butchered by the stream of water. Only once it had suffered a few more attacks did Ryo release his jutsu and go to work. He wanted the tail of this beast, and he was going to get it. He used his Kunai to slice between the plate-like shell of the scorpion in question. The knife was sharp and it easily cut through the parts of the Scorpion that Ryo needed to cut free.
