D-rank
Ryo sighed as he walked through the village heading to one of the many parks that was in the village. He had just had a very long morning of collecting supplies, and items he needed for his next puppet. Now he was done with his shopping and gathering so all he wanted to do now was relax, or do something more interesting like training, or perhaps just having a fun game with kids. Ryo was used to being around children and was happy to play with them as he was an older brother himself, and his siblings were little ankle bitters and always looking to play with their older siblings. Reina wasn’t much for playing instead she tried to turn all forms of playtime into training.
These thoughts were roaming around in Ryo’s head being that he couldn’t stay focused on much for any extreme length of time. Well, unless it was related to puppets as puppetry was an art and great art takes time. He smiled as he pulled out the scroll looking at the designs for his next puppet he would call it Shiro. Looking the puppet over he knew that it wouldn’t be an easy project, but he would have to put it together whenever he had the time to work on it. Deciding that it was probably not the smartest thing in the world to waste time he decided it was time to train himself as he was lacking in some departments, but the most important of them was his physical strength. Moving off away from the rest of the crowd that had gathered he unrolled his scroll inside his special harness summoning up his one and only puppet.
Kuro was a big puppet, and while he didn’t weigh an incredible amount he would serve as a good dead weight. Picking the puppet up under his belly Ryo began to lift it above his head in steady fluid motions. Each time he counted and when he had five reps done he would flip his puppet onto it’s back to repeat the same process up to five. Doing this wasn’t impossible being that Kuro only weighed 65 pounds, but it provided the perfect weight for a constant workout. One day Ryo would have to either make Kuro heavier, or work on real weight lifting equipment. For now, he only had to make sure he could lift Kuro, and do so with relative ease. This would be the perfect work out for that purpose to say the least. He was content to spend his day like this but little did he know what this day would have in store for him.
