Nayoko
D-rank
Nayoko had woken up very early today. He dressed quickly, throwing on his jacket and wrapping his hands and waist thoroughly before running downstairs and scarfing down some breakfast. He was mid-meal when his sister ran down the stairs as well and joined him. “Good morning Nayoko! Big plans today?” She asked so sweetly, Nayoko could not help but smile. He then replied right before downing a glass of water, “You bet sis! I met a ninja last night, a Genin from Kiri, and he told me he wanted to train today! He has some crazy abilities involving water that I’m really excited to check out. It’s going to be a good day.” Kioko smiled at her older brother, and ran to the pantry, grabbing some snacks for Nayoko. She handed them to the twenty-two year old saying, “Take these, I’m sure you’ll work up a hunger before the morning is even over.” Nayoko smiled again, thanked his sister, and then headed out toward the training fields. He knew exactly which one he wanted to get to.
There was still dew on the grass as Nayoko was walking through the village toward the training fields. He waved to the people he saw around town, opening up shops or heading out for breakfast and to work. He was so excited. He could already feel adrenaline pumping through his veins as he thought about how in the world he could possibly outmaneuver Daiko, the young travelling ninja that had an affinity to Suiton just like Nayoko. Furthermore, Nayoko had seen that Daiko was fairly adept at Genjutsu as well, which had Nayoko a little worried. He did not know the first thing about Genjutsu, so he would have to remain wary if he wanted to outsmart the young ninja. Finally, Nayoko arrived at the training fields. He headed toward the fields and walked to one that had a small body of water running though it. Perfect, Nayoko thought. This is going to be interesting.
Nayoko began running around the field, warming up and preparing for the training that the day ahead would hold. He wanted to try executing some of his jutsu, but he also knew that Taijutsu may be the best bet against a man that would make his body become water. His breathing intensified as he sped up, trying to really prepare his body for whatever would happen. Nayoko was not sure what the rules of this spar would be, but he knew that if he could convince Daiko, they would be allowed to use their jutsu. He was fine with whatever they decided, but Nayoko wanted a real spar. One where he could show up the jutsu he had been practicing for weeks on end. It was powerful, and it could hurt the other ninja, but even so, Nayoko was confident they he could control himself and his power.
Nayoko glanced around and realized that he had arrived really early. Sighing, he walked over to one of the training dummies and started punching it, practicing ways for him to get past Daiko’s impressive abilities. Genjutsu, how do I avoid Genjutsu. He couldn’t keep is eyes closed indefinitely, nor could he trust himself to resist the young traveler's jutsu without issue. I’ll have to strike first if possible. I’m pretty fast, I’ll try to use that to my advantage. Nayoko continued to ponder this while he waited for his training partner to arrive at the fields, hoping that he would figure something out before it was too late.
