Mission Details:

Yuna typically spent her free time either training or at the hospital, but she had seen a post on a board from the Academy. The post stated they needed extra help to supervise the students during their fieldtrip to the pool. That morning Yuna did her usual morning rituals of feeding the birds that nested nearby, tending her garden and brewing a fresh pot of tea to bring with her as well as a pot of rice. She believed you should never be without tea and she always brought rice for a kind man named Henry that had fallen upon hard times and lived on the streets of Konoha.

Once she was done she set out to the Academy to meet with the teachers and the students she would be taking to the pool. The weather was beautiful and put her in good spirits. She hadn’t felt this good in a long time. All her worries seemed to blow away with the gentle breeze that brought a slight crispness to the warm summer air. It was a fair distance from her home just outside of Konoha to the Academy, but Yuna enjoyed a good walk. She had left slightly earlier to make up for it though as the students would be arriving at the Academy earlier than usual and she still wanted to visit Henry on her way. She got to Henry’s usual spot, but he was nowhere to be found. She waited for ten minutes, but could not wait any longer and left the rice there hoping he would find it. She was worried that something may have happened, but pushed it to the back of her mind as she had to hurry now to get to the Academy on time.
She was in such a rush that she didn’t notice a man pulling a cart rushing towards her. A man standing by noticed she was in danger and dove to push her out of the way. Yuna was safe, but her tea pot had flown from her bag and spilled all over the ground. She stared at the ground covered in spilt tea, mortified. The man took her hand and offered to help her up. He quickly noticed she was upset, but she wasn’t listening when he asked if she was okay. To her the perfect day was now ruined, how could you possibly have a good wholesome day without tea?! The man said “It’s just tea, I can get you some more if it is that much of a trouble.” Yuna held back her temper at his words, ‘It’s just tea’. Her father had always taught her that peace was worth the struggle and anger would only lead to tragedy. She smiled at him and graciously accepted his offer of tea. The man helped her up and led her to his house nearby. He filled her pot with an awful smelling tea that she was sure must be very low quality, but nonetheless the man meant well. He introduced himself as Saki. “I am Yuna, Yuna Masamoto”, she said. “Would you like to stay for a bit while you recover from your fall?” Saki said. “I can’t.” Yuna said while looking at the time. She was late and she was never late. She rushed out of Saki’s home and down the street to the academy. Saki was perplexed as she had sprinted out of his house without so much as a goodbye. He hoped he would see her again.

Yuna finally made it to the Academy only to find that the students had just departed to the pool. Apparently they were so rowdy that the teacher could not keep their excitement tamed any longer. The teacher had left a note for Yuna saying to meet her at the pool. Yuna wondered if the day could get any worse. No tea, late and rambunctious children that she had to keep under wraps.

Yuna got to the pool and the teacher chastised her for being late, but still thanked her for coming. The students were currently changing into there swimming attire. Their shouts of glee ringing through the warm summer air. She took that moment to have a sip of tea. She immediately cringed as the tea struck her tongue with a taste of vile swamp water. She held back the urge to spit it out, but couldn’t bring herself to waste even the worst of teas.

The students were out and ready. The teacher introduced Yuna, letting them know that she had just as much authority as herself. Yuna smiled and greeted them and said “Hi, everyone we are going to have a great day today. We just need to make sure everyone stays safe and we respect the pools facilities.” The students listened, but not very intently. Understandable as they just wanted to be in the water. Yuna led them to the pool. One of the students started sprinting to the pool and began to slip. Yuna managed to catch him and used this as an example to the rest of them that fun didn’t have to be dangerous. The students seemed to settle down realizing that if Yuna had not caught him, all their fun may have been over.  Surprisingly after the disastrous morning she had, the day went well. The students were well behaved and no one was injured. The pool and its amenities were not damaged. Everyone got changed and they lined up to go home. The teacher took attendance and Yuna realized that the day was not over as one of the students was missing.

The teacher was hysteric and couldn’t figure out how anyone could have left without her noticing. Yuna promised to go find the missing student. The student was a 11-year-old girl named Vera and didn’t have a history of being mischievous.  She was however overly curious and if something had caught her attention it may have led her astray.
Yuna searched all over and was at a loss until she heard Vera cry out as she walked down an alleyway. She also heard deep male voices laughing. Yuna didn’t know what to do as she could not fight anyone. She thought back to the man named Saki that had helped her that morning. He was tall and well built, he could likely fend off the men she had heard. She rushed to his house and upon finding him quickly explained her situation. He agreed without hesitation and the two of them rushed back to the alley she had heard them. While they listened, they heard the men talking about her being a fine specimen and that she would fetch a good price. Saki lost his temper and rushed in knocking the men to the ground. Yuna grabbed Vera and ran out of the building. Ten minutes later Saki emerged, covered in bruises and blood with a cold look in his eyes. Yuna asked him if he was okay, but he said he didn’t want to talk about it right now. He told her to bring Vera back to the teacher and they would talk about it later.

Yuna returned Vera to the teacher and explained what had taken place. The teacher told her that they would heighten security until they knew it was safe again. She also told Yuna to go home and that she had done more than enough and thanked her profusely. Yuna headed home thinking about Saki and that she would visit him the next day.
