1 To much sand, NEXT! (Suna-Kiri) Wed Nov 16, 2016 1:32 pm

Even without spending more than a day in the city of sand he already hated the land of wind. The constant howling winds, sand getting into his sheathe and cloths, and even all the particles swirling around him just wore on him. To make matters worse he knew he was being constantly followed ever since entering the gate. While konoha and suna had rocky relations in the past, there were no recent conflicts and trade had long ago returned to normal. It's hardly likely that Lady Kenta would send a blind 12 as a spy on a stable friend, but if anything the unexpected spy is the best spy.
Ducking calmly into a nearby alleyway to slip the tail, he was doing a half ass job of keeping tabs on him anyways, he "watched" the man continue to walk past the opening without noticing. It was highly probable that his trail would be picked back up with a jutsu when it was finally noticed, hopefully at that point the city would be long behind him. Even if his parents were in this city he could come back when he could cover more ground and spend less time in the land of sand everywhere it doesn't belong.
Finding a couple heading out of the gate to follow behind the trip past the sun's gate was unremarkable thanks to his sword being sealed away. It had stayed that way ever since getting near village, to do otherwise would be risking the weapons confiscation and that was not an option at this moment in his life. Staying in the couples shadow for a few minutes to carry on the illusion he lacked a reference point as to when he was out of sight of the gate, eventually just picking up the pace to bypass the two and set out to the next village.
Few hours of walking and a great deal of contemplating resulted in uncertainty. Out of the three great villages remaining none fit very well with the description in his head. The closest that he knew of might be Kiri with the mists and sea life. The sea life could stay in the sea and they would get along fine, but the mists were an uncertainty. It might be like the sand and cause problems with his gear, getting it all wet instead of clogged or the water would slide off and be a minimal problem. At the very least if someone picked a fight in the mists he was already more than prepared for it, chuckling to himself, they would have more problems seeing than he did.
Counting his money as he hustled on the road he considered a ferry ride or just walk the entire way on foot. The first would cost coin but would be considerably less tiring than molding chakra the entire walk across the sea. Realizing the implications of a ninja just waltzing into their land already molding chakra the ferry seemed a lot more appealing, since he was wanting to make a good impression unlike in suna.
