Kashizudoto
S-rank
Damn, this young chuunin was impatient as hell for the Hokage and friends to get their butts over to Iwagakure; by his poor standards of keeping time, they were at least a day or two later than he'd expected them to be! Though it should be noted that he did come here earlier than expected; there was very little on his way to the village and he had departed as soon as he got the message, so obviously the group that was behind him wouldn't catch up immediately. He was aware that there was a genin in the group, and he secretly held the belief that this guy was slowing down the group massively. Still, he couldn't be too harsh on the guy. After all, Kashizudoto was a genin back when he accepted this mission, although his skill set was certainly much more than that.
He used this delay in the arrival of the others as an opportunity to get ahead as a shinobi: he'd adventured all around in Iwagakure, training everywhere he went, and had even done four short term missions here, which were probably the most difficult that he'd ever faced in his shinobi career. Oh ya, and he had ended up joining a secret order of shinobi recently: the Order of the White Lotus. He was rushing from one place to the next, undertaking huge tasks with very little rest. Who could blame the guy: he was an impatient kid who wanted to explore the world and become so much greater than he was currently. Obviously, the rush was taking a huge toll on him. Although he had physically and mentally gotten so much stronger due to his rapid adventures where he had learned so much, he had become extremely fatigued. A brief visit to the hot springs a little earlier helped with his problem a tiny bit; however, his eyelids were still basically half shut. And what did Kashizudoto decide to do to wake himself up? Go on another frickin' dangerous mission, of course! At least he'd get some adrenaline pumping in him again.
Apparently some suspicious figures were seen lurking near a fortress that composed part of Iwagakure's wall: Bastion Adamantine. Did Kashizudoto ever express his hatred of walls? The idealistic chuunin felt that they only served to divide people, just like those damn things known as "borders". Of course, that's the reason why he joined the Order of the White Lotus in the first place. It was a group of shinobi who worked to ensure global peace by transcending national boundaries. The young chuunin was truly grateful to find people who shared his globally focused ideals, which most found at least a little crazy but these people seemed to appreciate.
However, his mission was to protect this section of the wall, which was at this time very poorly guarded, from anything that might occur. He was to kill anyone who threatened the security of the village of Iwa. Well, as long as he could get a reward from it, Kashizudoto was alright with the basic premise of this mission. It's not like he had to do anything too egregious, although he had a preference not to outright kill criminals. However, almost any criminal in Iwagakure would end up getting summarily executed anyway as far as Kashizudoto could see, although Kiri was by far the worst in its treatment of those who went even slightly against the Mizukage's commands.
