When people describe beauty in nature, they usually describe something in nature. Whether it be volcanoes, forests, animals, there is always an eye for beauty in nature. However, it takes a different kind of person to see beauty in architecture. Whether it be buildings or roads, everything has a certain aura to it that can be described as beautiful. At a time like this, where the night time light glistens from the rain fall during the day on the roof tops of the city around the pedestrians, Kairyu was enjoying the sight. His life has become a lot more active recently, and it was welcomed when there was a bit of peace. Training, being active, just to get stronger takes the toll on the young body and soul of someone like Kairyu.

Kairyu was seen in his usual getup, a black cloak with his clan's symbol on the back. He also carried his katana on his back, the ceremonial katana that his family gave to him when he graduated. But, he was not looking to be fighting today. He just wanted to enjoy the night. It was a gorgeous night, as the rain fall just ended. It was almost romantic, if he had a significant other with him. But, he would rather enjoy the night by himself for now. If someone were to come, he wouldn't be angry about it.

The road itself was fairly private. There weren't that many people out at this time of night. It was really late. The only reason Kairyu was up was because he took a long nap earlier in the day. He was training pretty hard in the day, and due to the constant training, he just collapsed from exhaustion. But, after he woke up, he went home, took a longer nap, then finally woke up again feeling a lot better. His body still hurt, but he felt that it was healing up after that long sleep.

As he walked down the street, he suddenly stopped, and smelled the air around him. It was definitely a very sudden stop, but it was to appreciate everything around him. He closed his eyes, and smelled the dew around him, the smells of the city clashing with the smells that nature brings down upon Kirigakure with rain.It was truly a memorable experience, realizing that this was his city that he was protecting, and he would do everything he could to make sure he could smell the dew at night. It was a promise he made to his heart, and to his self.

He opened his eyes, more fire in them, and walked further along the path. Most stores were closed by now, but for once in his life, he wasn't looking to eat. He was just looking to enjoy the night, with himself and whomever else would like to come enjoy the night with him.

the bright stars twinkled against the black moon lit night sky. The rain had stopped recently, and she had come out to smell the fresh smell of the rain that still lingered in the air, and stare at the brisk night sky. She had left her house a bit earlier so that way she could sit up on a little over hang that looked out over most the village, using her ice techniques to freeze the rain before it hit her so she would remain dry, so she wouldn't be uncomfortable as she sat out in the cold and looked over the breath taking view of Kirigakure no sato's village lights that lit up the scenery before her. She found the view breath-taking, and she was rather quiet happy with it. Unlike most people, she was rather content at this night, not finding it particularly cold, where as most other people's breath was already visible, she was rather warm. This was probably due to the Aisu blood running through the Konuichi's veins that made sure she was colder than most people.

After soaking in the wonderful view, for a few more minutes, the young Konuichi sat up and let out a small breath, looking around. She was in her usual attire, for no reason other than the fact she simply liked it, although she had left her kunai and her headband at home, as she was taking personal time and didn't really feel the need for those things. Though if she was attacked she still had her jutsu to defend herself with. Though being a Genin that still really wasn't much. Either way, she couldn't really imagine something going wrong on such a wonderful and beautiful night. So she simply put those thoughts aside for now and took in the gorgeous view once more. The orange lights that radiated off the village, from streets and lanterns and rooms and houses. Some being shut off as people went to sleep, and shops closed up. Other lights turning on, to give the people of the night vision as they wandered through it's streets, or even specific shops that catered to the night life opening up their doors and turning on their lights for the first time today.

After a few more brief moments, Mikori decided that she no longer wanted to sit and simply gaze at the village and awe, and she wanted to go wander about inside of it, and see the night life up close and personal. So the shinobi pushed herself up to both of her feet, so she was standing before the edge of the cliff looking out over the view of the city. She then brushed her skirt off with both hands as a little bit of dirt had gotten on it, though not a lot, and it was easily cleared up when she brushed it off. She then simply stood there for a moment staring in awe at the village once more, before she slowly turned around, and headed down the small dirt path which had lead her up to the peak in the first place. It wasn't really any place special, and Mikori knew a few people knew about it, though she had never really seen anyone else there. But that said, it was still one of her favorite places in all of Kirigakure no Sato. The quiet and out of reach area, overlooking the city with one of the prettiest views Mikori had ever seen. especially on a night like tonight. There was no reason, it shouldn't be her favorite spot. And she had gotten wrapped up in the spot several times. Reading many books while propped up a against a tree. Or practicing a few Hyoton techniques while she was up there by herself and no one was watching. But, the reason she was there tonight was of no particular importance. She had simply decided that she wanted to go out and smell the rain, and look over Kirigakure no Sato, and so that's what she did. Her parents didn't even question her when she left. Though that much wasn't really a surprise as they relatively let her do whatever she wanted, as long as she met their expectations, she was free. And so, that lead her here. To the small relatively unknown road, which the small dirt path she had just taken branched out from.

From the small road, she headed into the village. being captivated by the pretty lights and just the general scenery as she walked along the road of the village that lead out towards where she had just come from. Her eyes wandered about. Finding delight in every little thing she gazed at. Mostly the paper lanterns that were hung off of pools to act as street lights, and the cherry blossoms that were illuminated by their orange warm glow. However it didn't take long for her wandering eyes to spot something she recognized. The messy back of the head of rather large man with a sword on his back. "Kairyu!" she shouted towards him, only being a few meters behind him. She quickened her pace to catch up to him, though not more than a small trot, waving if her would turn around to face her. she would then walk up next to him, and begin talking to him, walking up in front of him had he turned around to face her. "What are you doing out here this late at night?" she would ask smiling. It was always pleasant to see a familiar face, and while the two didn't know each other too well. The first time they met, which was also the last time, they had gotten along quite nicely. She would look over his face, searching for a reaction, or emotions, something on his face she could read. Her bright purple eyes, reflecting the orange glow of the lanterns starring up at him.
