As they charged at each other it became apparent that the other man was immensly strong. If he wasn't the ground wouldn't indent at his passing. Getting caught by those hairy, clawed hands was a bad plan. He was confident in his own power but taking risks like that beyond the actual fight was not wise. Bleeding was never fun but even so, he wouldn't pull out his own weapons just yet. If anything it would look bad for him to attack with weapons to someone who from a distance looked unarmed. Those claws might be meat hooks to him but to others they were normal nails. However he was going to take him on directly all the same. Somewhat. His feint appeared to work as the man launched up full speed at him looking to perhaps tackle him when the feint went into effect. His kick to the back of the mans knee was semi effective but only to alter the mans momentum and put him into a slide. Suprisingly though the part of the leg he had hit was so firm it had pushed himself off of it more than he had impacted letting him land a couple extra feet away. The enemy sliding to a stop and turning to face him like nothing had happened. Kokai could only smile as he noted this fight wouldn't be so simple. He actually had to focus his hits to do any real damage. He marked the knee he hit and would see about targeting that more but for now....

The man smiled and suddenly took off his shoes. Oh man Kokai suddenly hoped he wasn't going to be scratched with yellow toe nails. Claws on the hands made sense in his mind but feet were just gross sweaty things. He stuck his tongue out a little making a face of disgust before he noted the opponents new position as he slid back into it. His back appeared to be exposed more than before but something seemed off. Such an obvious weakness had to be known to the stance user. He would need to get creative to get around it this time. A feint was only useful if the enemy didn't expect it which meant only good for a couple of attacks a fight. He had meant for it to be more effective with a leg attack and injuring his opponent. However it had done little to nothing. He had a plan to get around that though. His eyes took in the terrain as at this point he didn't even notice the onlookers or the bear leaving and just focused on the fight. To into it to be distracted. He had landed the first hit so he was setting the pace for now.

Kokai smirked and brushed a knuckle of his thumb against his chin as if to insinuate he was ready to see if Oki could land a blow there at any time before running forward. On either side of them four post tents and tables were erected and he would use that to his advantage. His arms were both brought up in a L position with open hands in a defensive readiness stance that was common in Krav Maga for deflecting the force of blow instead of taking it directly. However this time as they would of colided he jumped to the right and planted both boots on a pole, cracking it in half as he launched himself overhead and out of reach before flipping and crooking one leg while the other pointed straight down. Trying to fall into a drop kick into the mans same knee he had attacked before. Using height and weight this time plus speed to hopefully have some effect if his attack worked. The tent he had kicked off from was already collapsing.

Unhappy with being hit with such a feint the previous charge, Oki determined to not fall for a feint again.  He watched intently as the other made his gesture with the thumb. Oki’s grin spread, and he shook his head happily. Seems this guy was pretty confident. But, Oki wouldn’t allow himself to fall for a taunt like that, at least not now. If he tried to follow up on his foes dare, he would merely be predictable, constantly attacking for the chin. That wasn’t going to happen, both because doing so would mean he could be easily dodged, as well as also being an area that wasn’t within his fight style. The bear does not upper cut someone to the chin! He would maul and wrestle this guy down, like a true bear should!

He watches as his foe begins to run, running towards him once more, a lot slower than when he was on all fours. He was prepared for the feint this time, grinning as he was sure he’d be able to catch him with his feet, and work from there. He swung his arms out, preparing to attack when- The other guy did something that honestly, Oki couldn’t help but be impressed with. The poor tent that Kokai had jumped off collapsing, Oki one moment was rushing forward, and the next at a complete halt, the impact to his knee causing all of his momentum to go down, the leg hit going directly into the ground. Oki grunts at the sudden bruise that was sure to be below the hair on his leg, but beyond that, his smile stays. Not only because he was thoroughly enjoying this fight, but because his foe made a mistake by attacking from the air. Oki knew in this type of fight, his foe would get in the most hits. But now it was Oki’s turn, and he intended to make this one count.

As Kokai’s foot impacted Oki’s knee, the bear man swung his arms in a grapple, fastening his arms like a vice around the attacker’s leg. His arm hairs stood up on end and he finally noticed the chilly air that this guy gave off, but honestly, Oki was too far into the fight to give a monkeys bottom about that. He digs one of his claws into his own shoulder, blood dripping down his hand, just in case there was even a slither of a chance that he would be able to break free of the grip. For a moment he locked eyes with the cold foe, but not for long as he, still holding onto both the leg and himself, began swinging around, rising to his feet to further gain momentum and do this properly. Relying purely on brute strength, and his larger bulk than the other, Oki let go of himself first, then released his grip all at once, sending Kokai flying towards a small cabbage stall, the wooden structure breaking as the man-bear laughed, going back down to all fours. He made note that he was prioritising the knee, specifically the one hit during the initial feint. Oki knew he had to make sure to avoid getting hit there as much as possible, or this fight would quickly go to the favour of the other guy.

He kept still this time, deciding to not rush in and get hit unnecessarily. While he could take hits well, he didn’t want to overestimate himself when against someone who was so far looking to be a worthy opponent. He rolled his shoulder, patting at it to wipe away some of the blood. He had to prove that bears were meant to fight, that his boasts were true to every word! He could have dug his claws in to the other man’s leg, but that would not have been fair. So far his foe had not cheated and used a weapon, and while his hands are just a normal part of him, he refused to be the first to draw the blood of the other. This was a fight between brawlers, sharp objects are not needed here.

Kokai felt the wood snap under his foot but could hardly care. His first blow hadn't done much but hitting the same knee would eventually do some damage. This launch drop was meant to be far more damaging then the previous leg sweep had a chance of doing. His combined weight with the height of the fall and impacting a previously tenderized spot that was considered a weak point to begin with. He would take this tall bastard out from the knee's up. His drop caught the charging bear of a man off guard by the look of it even though he seemed to be eager to react to another feint. His position had left him open to attack from above so Kokai had taken the risk of attacking from the air. He was aware of how risky it was when he went for it but damn if it didn't pay off as much as he hoped. He felt his heel dig into the mans knee and watched him drop to the ground hard enough to sound a cracking noise of knee hitting stone. He was going to win this fight. The big guy had no chance of keeping up. He couldn't even land a...

Suddenly Kokai was caught in a bear hug around his legs and it was alarmingly tight. His hands quickly went to press against the large arms but they seemed to be unusually attached to the mans shoulders. He could smell the sudden blood and wondered for a brief moment if it was somehow his own before he was suddenly spinning. His momentum keeping him from having any sense of control over his body and thus unable to effectively counter. The man was a grappler and he was making it obvious that getting caught in that grip had been a mistake. If Kokai had been more prepared he would of struck at the mans face instead of attempting to pry himself free but it had caught him off guard. Suddenly he was let loose and his momentum became single directional. His body was flying and he could only curl up and cross his arms over his head right before he crashed into a lettuce stand. The majority of the stand coming down as the shop owner dived to the side. Wood and lettuce rolling away before Kokai would rise to his feet and crack his neck. His crimson eyes looking to his opponent as he clenched and unclenched his fists.

His back and shoulders hurt now but nothing that would keep him out of this fight. Pieces of wood still stuck to his clothing as he rolled his shoulders. He wanted to see how the big man moved after that hit to his knee and now he had a plan that made his positioning key. He needed to instigate the man to charge him this time as him charging blindly hadn't worked the last time. He was going to win this fight and in order to do so he needed to use his head. So he would smirk and talk to the man across from him while shrugging off the pain from the impact of the stand.

"C'mon asshat. That all you got? Big talk for such a push over." Hopefully that would bring his opponent to him.

He watches with pride as his grapple and throw successfully works. The other man clearly had speed superiority over the bear man, so there was no point in trying to be the more aggressive of the two. This fight was his if he simply let his foe come to him. His ears twitch slightly at the light sound of Kokai whistling through the air, and he flexes his knuckles in case he was going to do some insane air manoeuvring technique. But no such incredible feat occurred, and with a satisfying clash, the impact was confirmed. Oki made a mental note to himself that he couldn’t charge recklessly at his foe. He had to let him come to him, like he had just then. Get hit once, hit back. That seemed like the best time to strike- When struck. After all, it would just be embarrassing to not learn while fighting a fighter who has been learning and adapting.

Chuckling heartily at his foe clattering into the stall, Oki then realised the stall owner was upset at this. Calling out to the old man whose stall was just destroyed, Oki called out “I am sure my clan will be okay with paying for that damage! My apologies stranger!” However, his attention wasn’t on the destroyed cabbage stand long as he surveyed his target getting up. From the clenching of the fists and rolling shoulders, it appeared his attack had an impact of its own. With a satisfied grin, he stretches out his slightly injured knee. It wasn’t yet injured enough to stop him from fighting, but every hit was going to hurt more. If nothing else, he had to avoid getting hit at the same point. Bruises everywhere was better than a single, severely injured point.

He moves to get in a completely defensive posture, but half way through the shift in stature, he hears his foes words, his taunt echoing through the air. "C'mon asshat. That all you got? Big talk for such a push over." Was this a taunt from his fool of a foe? He would make sure his foe learns that you do not poke the bear! His posture dropped immediately, and with a bit of hesitation about his knee, he charged again. He was visibly slowed, quite significantly, however part of this was because despite his charge, his priority was to protect his current weak spot. After all, a good defense is a good defense! What do you mean that’s not how the expression goes? Well, he did not care about expressions being correct! Or many things in fact, considering he ignored his own line of thought from before. Who needs to be careful when you can just get in the thick of the fight?! With a taunt of his own, he bellowed out mid charge “You’re not going to try to do something as predictable and pathetic as attack the same spot are you, coward?!” If his foe was going to fight to Oki’s anger, then Oki would play to his anger. Let anger fuel anger, and hit fuel hit!

Kokai would watch with a smirk as his taunt appeared to have some effect. His opponent was visibly angered by his words and that was perfect. His plan of action would not of worked if he had to come at his opponent. Or if it did its effect would of been greatly lessened. However Kokai had begun to smile now. He was enjoying a fight with someone who could manage to do damage to him. He had landed two hits on the man for the one but truthfully, it seemed like they evened each other out. Two moderate hits for one heavy one. Even he had to admit they were fairly evenly matched. That was why he had to win this fight. To prove he was a strong advesary to anyone who tested him. To show he wasn't all talk and his fist held its weight. He actually kind of liked the big guy even as he distracted himself from the fight talking to someone Kokai hadn't even noticed. Some shop keeper that was angry but not willing to get between the two of them. It didn't matter to Kokai anyway. If the man wanted to be paid for damages let the Kuma clan pay for it. A whole clan could probably pay for some damages one of their members had started anyway. Two stands now were damaged on either side of the street of stands sitting side by side. People were getting angry and calling for a shinobi to stop the two but Kokai didn't care. His opponent was coming at him.

The mans posture had dropped again for the same charge as both times before. Once again he would be basically on all fours but he was growing accustomed to Kokai's movements. A feint had worked once but his training had showed doing that more than once increased the chance of getting captured in a counter all the more likely. Each time one used a feint the chances of it working dropped again. However his airial attack seemed to have a little impact. The man was running slower and barely favoring the knee but just enough to notice. Still his mouth opened and he shouted out again mid way to Kokai as if to anger him once more. Making Kokai grit his teeth and prepare to do some serious damage. “You’re not going to try to do something as predictable and pathetic as attack the same spot are you, coward?!” Pathetic? It was a legit tactic in a fight! Tenderize the knee and use it as a take down. How was using taijutsu skills a cowardly move? No...you know what...it was time to beat that smug face in some. And just to make a point he was going to hit that knee again if he could.

Kokai would wait and hold his posture as if ready to strike out as Oki drew near. Full charge and roaring towards him. At the last moment though Kokai's hand would slide behind him and suddenly the tarp covering from the stand would fly out over Oki. The large tarp attempting to cover him and blind him for a moment. Like a net trap just for him. It was underhanded but smart to distract and blind the opponent. If it worked for even a moment Kokai would step forward and grab Oki by the shoulders during the confusion and hold the tarp down over his arms and head and would swing his own head from the side for a cracking headbutt to Oki's facial region. If it worked his head would ring with pain but hopefully he broke the mans nose and threw him off center. Enough to release him and jump up with a spin to bring his knee around to the man's face to attempt to full force knock him off balance and into a jewelry stand to knock him over. He was moving quickly as he could so even as he landed he would try to get in one final hit as his foot would lift and he would try and curb stomp that same knee but backwards this time. Just to prove an effective tactic.

Oki’s grin was noticeable from anywhere as he barrelled forwards. Whether it was confidence or sheer enjoyment, this bear has no intentions of backing down from the fight. Pebbles and dirt scattered beneath his heavy steps, his dark leg hair highlighted by the dirt now dusted into it. But to the bear man this didn’t matter one bit, and he roared almost boastfully as he charged headfirst forward. When he felt he was getting close, he swung his right arm out in an attempt to bat his foe, keeping his left back to defend his knee. However, catching him off guard, Kokai threw a large cloth from nearby, covering the arms and head of the bear, like how one would catch an ostrich. Cheap tricks! Before he could process the trickery, Oki felt an impact to his head, dazing him slightly. It wasn’t massive pain, but it would have hurt a lot were he not such a mass of bulk and muscle. His nose was not broken, but that was simply because in his panicked reaction and flailing, the attack hit him directly on the forehead.

He simply flails as the next impact hits, a kick to the head sending the big man flying off to the side, tumbling in a mess of fabric and pain. He clatters into a nearby jewellery stand, small trinkets scattering on the ground. Dazed, he began climbing back onto his feet, but before fully recovering, another attack reached him, this time to the back of the knee. The bastard. Expletives aplenty left the angry Oki’s mouth, and he rolls with the impact of the blow to the knee. It didn’t lessen it as much as it could have, since he had to be hit before he could know he was getting hit, but he at least used as much of the momentum to move rather than merely take the hit. Not a large amount of distance between the two, at least to what the previous hit told him, Oki got an idea. Brandishing his claws, the first thing he did was tear through the tarp as if it were paper to scissors, the fabric falling to the ground in two and freeing Oki from his lack of vision. He didn’t say a word this time, no taunts, no comebacks. This time he was truly angry, as his foe was the first to fight dirty.

Cracking his right hand and stumbling slightly from his lack of balance, Oki swung around, grabbing the stall he’d recently smacked into with both hands without stopping. If his foe wanted to use surrounding things from the market as weapons, then Oki would show him how it was really done. He spun the stall around him twice, gathering momentum as he slowly went from dragging the wooden place to flat out lifting it in the air. He’d have struggled if he was simply lifting it and throwing it, however Oki was using the same tactic his mother always used to do when he was little. Rather than simply lift what it is you wish to spin, you gather momentum in place, and let it lift itself. Utilizing the same throwing technique as he had used on Kokai before, only this time the situation was reversed; instead of throwing Kokai into a stall, Oki intended to throw the stall at Kokai. And with the thoughts of anger in his mind, he let go of the already damaged jewellery stand, what little gems and trinkets that were left on it falling to the ground. But Oki wasn’t finished yet.

As soon as the stall was in the air, he returned to his four legged position, nearly tripping himself over from having just thrown something as large as the stall. He kept his injured leg in the air, avoiding putting pressure onto it, and running on three legs towards the right of where he threw the stall. From the way his foe was fighting, it seemed there was a good chance that he’d be able to dodge something as large as a stand. So Oki shadowed his makeshift weapon, and went the direction he was most likely to dodge towards; to Kokai’s right and Oki’s left were the rest of the stands, and even a couple of foolish onlookers. This would hopefully restrict Kokai’s choices for avoiding the stall, and lead him right into the bear. If he dodged into Oki, then Oki would grapple him, and slam him into the ground as hard as he could, then follow that up by slamming his entire body weight on top of the man. If he dodged towards the crowd, then Oki would simply follow up, as the close quarters meant less room for speed without putting strangers at risk. And if he dodged backwards, then Oki could simply continue pursuing, eventually catching up, as running backwards or changing facing was terrible for being fast, or well balanced. This location had become a fighting ring. Oki was about to take the stage.

Harichimo was just exiting the administration building from a meeting with the Tsuchikage. With two of his students not showing up to the squad orientation he had asked for some reorganizing of the roster and acquired a new student. One that was thought to show some promise. He would have Kokai the Karasu, a clan of past assassins that were good at what they did. And he new student Oki of the Kuma clan. A clan that prided themselves for bear like attributes. Rebound for their endurance and strength, they would make formidable allies in combat. He was just leaving the front door as he put the paperwork into an envelope and into his monolith robes. He was getting more accustomed to wearing them during formal events as the custom fitting robe was much nicer then his dingy purple robe he had worn since he was a genin. He was no farther then the gate the surround the building until an Anbu agent appeared before him. Harichimo would stop in his track's a little confused. "Can I help you agent?" The Anbu mask would only look him dead in the eyes as the agent spoke in a serious tone. "Not with me but with your students. Reports came in from concerned citizens that they are causing a ruckus in the bazaar, the Tsuchikage is worried about some damages and would like to see you reign them in before the guards have their way." Harichimo would give out a sigh, a little embarrrassed after just coming out of Karumo's office and meeting with him about the change in students. "Thank you agent, tell the Tsuchikage I will have it under control in a minute." The agent would nod and slide past Harichimo as he began to take off in a sprint towards the bazaar. It had to be something big for people to report them for going at it but what damage would two genin really be capable of. He wasn't going to chance it as he would leap up onto a roof top and continue to roof walk to cut some time out of the traveling.

He would finally reach the bazaar and he could see the crowd forming. He might have gotten their just in time. He would hop off the roof and keep his sprint towards the crowd and begin to push his way through. He had gotten through to the front in time to watch as Kokai had covered the man he assumed was Oki with a tarp and land a nasty headbutt. Not the smartest of moves to give you as well as your opponent possible concussions. Harichimo would reach and pluck some hair into his  with a poof of smoke a reflection clone would appear. Then the fight seemed to escalate as Oki had freed himself from the tarp and now a cart was flying, not only was that a danger to Kokai if he could not dodge it but a danger to the people around them if he did. Harichimo had to act now.

He gave a dead sprint sending his clone after Oki. He would reach into his pocket to grab his knuckle duster and with a jump he would put himself between Kokai and the cart. He gave a shout and with a punch stopped the cart in it's tracks and leaving a hole in the side from the punch. The reflection clone had the capabilities of a novice chunin but Harcihimo thought it would be enough to handle if Oki was in a rage. He would command the clone to stand in his muay thai stance in front of the genin as he would dig his fist from the side of the cart and look at Kokai with a look to try and make him stop in his tracks. To have a spar was one thing but in the middle of a crowded area with the possibility of a civilian getting caught in the crossfire was not the smartest move. He and the clone would both hold hands up to the genin before he would speak. "Both of you take it down a notch and get in line over there in front of the cart." He had to see how much control he would have over his current student as he pointed for them to stand in front of the cart and drop their fighting stances. He wasn't sure how well it would work for the two of them but he had to be ready for anything that came next.

Kokai watched his attacks land. His head hurt from the headbutt as he had managed to hit something harder than himself it would seem which surprised him but the other two attacks were the goal anyway. The headbutt was just a rapid move to disorient his opponent while he moved in for the harder hits. Was it a cheap move? There was nothing cheap in a full on fight. That knee was his target and he could feel it under his boot each time he hit it and knew just like the other times this was doing damage. He smirked as he laid down the pain on top the can of whoop ass. His back pain and head pain forgotten as he was winning. Even as he skipped back out of the reach of those dangerous claws he saw them rip through the tarp like fingers through wet paper. His opponent was watching him now. Taking him seriously and in an anger that suited a fight. Had they not been brawling each other Kokai might have liked him for pulling out that look in a fight. For now it was just defiance in the face of his power. Defiance and a will to fight on even with that knee hurt. It had to be hurt by now. Adrenaline was keeping this going though. It was best that way.

Still as he grabbed the cart Kokai expected him to break off a chunk of wood and use that to even the odds. However even he was put on guard as the cart began to spin. He couldn't be serious. There was no way he could chuck that big a projectile at him across any distance. However the first spin was where that thought stopped. He could see it on the second spin as it picked up momentum and height. He understood now the dynamics behind growing momentum and suddenly wished he was already moving. It was too late though. The cart was in the air and heading straight at him. He prepared to dodge as a young childs sob suddenly broke him from his attention behind him. Shit...He couldn't move now. There were innocent people behind him. People that didn't deserve to get hurt because of his anger breaking out again. He braced himself and clenched his fists. He wasn't capable of stopping the attack. He couldn't take a heavy cart like that safely. If only he had use of his chakra...he could take it down and then...

As it flew through the air at him he felt a pulse. It was as if the world turned grey. A black and white film in slow motion as a familiar smell came to him. He was so slow...the cart so slow to reach him. But fear entered his eyes as the pulse happened again and he gripped his right wrist with his left hand. He would not give in. The black flames shifted back and forth to life on his right hand as he grit his teeth as hard as he could and let out a roar. He was going to take the cart if only to keep what his chakra wanted to do from happening. He wasn't going to hurt innocent people like that again. His clans chakra could not force him to be an assassin. It could not make him a killer of the innocent. He was prepared to let the cart wipe him out and lose. He hated losing but he would not harm those behind him. His head bowed as he prepared for what was to come. His fate accepted.

Suddenly a flash of robes in front of him with a monolith name on it snapped him to. A crunch was all he heard as he looked up. Harichimo, his Sensei was there? Kokai looked in disbelief at the man before him. Not only had he stopped the cart he did so with a single strike and with one hand at that. He had stopped something Kokai had no hope of stopping and made it look so simple. For the first time he understood his sensei was strong. The shock of what he was seeing was enough to snap his black chakra back to normal and the flames faded. He sighed in relief until a hand was put in front of him and he looked to see his Sensei looking sternly at him. A clear order issued to cease fighting and line up in front of the cart. With a tch and a look to the side...almost guilty. Kokai avoided eye contact with the crowd and did as instructed. Moving to the front of the cart and casting a glare at his recent opponent. He sure better hold up his word and have his clan pay for damages because Kokai couldn't pay for shit. Still he wasn't ready to continue a fight anyway. His chakra snapping out like that had shook him. His shoulders didn't seem to hold as wide and Oki would still be able to smell the rotted flesh scent it had given off from Kokai's right hand.

A split second. That was all the time it seemed to take for the fight to take a completely different turn than he expected. The stall flew through the air just as planned, but before he could see if it would connect, a hole blasted through the side of it. In its place, standing an angry looking man. Well, angry probably wasn’t the correct term, but as an angry bear person, it was close enough from Oki’s point of view. Judging from the speed at which he appeared and stopped the projectile, a feat Oki would not be able to do, he was not someone to fight. Trying to stop his three legged sprint, the bear man tumbles, flipping head first onto his back before skidding to a halt. While on the ground, out of seemingly nowhere, face bruised and battered, the bear man began to laugh. An uproarious laugh, as if someone had just told a joke so bad that it was side splittingly hilarious. A laugh that was just as suddenly cut off by the reality of what was going on.

He takes his surroundings in once more, looking around at what was going on as he sat up. His eyes first look towards his foe, who seemed almost awestruck and obedient to this robed guy. Then, looking past him, he watches what was behind the other person. A child. A small, crying child. His expression grew dark. Was his foe about to take the hit to protect this child? With another look, this time in general, he realised the havoc the duo had caused. Of course, it wasn’t the big guy’s intentions. He was caught in a fight, granted one he absolutely had a hand in causing, but property damage happens when you’re large like that. However, people outside the fight were impacted by it, and that was bad. Like, tremendously bad. Getting up slowly, Oki begins to pat himself down, dusting himself off, carefully avoiding his injured knee. The adrenaline from the fight was dying down, replaced with the regret of putting civilians at risk. His mind thought of things that occurred during the fight, as if assessing himself. His foe… He probably shouldn’t refer to him as that now the battle was over, but he wasn’t really sure what else to refer to him as, so foe would do for now. He seemed to try calculate the more… Brutally efficient way of fighting. He aimed his strikes, and despite feeling cheated, Oki had to admit it was effective. Yet both he and Oki were too enthusiastic in their fight, the surroundings damaged, and people at temporary risk. With a resigned nod, he let the thought leave his mind.

Adrenaline no longer easing the pain, Oki begins to limp towards the cart, where this robed stranger had instructed. He avoids eye contact with the other guy for a moment, less out of anger and more because he was busy looking elsewhere. Scanning the person who had so effortlessly stopped the flying cart, and had a rather commanding tone about his voice. While Oki has and had no clue of who this man was, there was something about him he recognised. The robes of a Monolith. This alone caused Oki to become attentive. The Monoliths were everything Oki aspired to be; strong and respected, with legions of pride. And to be reprimanded by one caused the bear man a great degree of shame. He must really have left a bad impression with this display, right? His actions directly put a child at risk. Oki didn’t know until after the fact, but the fact that it happened was unforgivable besides. Having recognised the robes, Oki’s gaze turned to the ground. His mind went through the possible repercussions his actions would hold. In all likelihood, his clan would make him do chores for months for this. What this tough guy would do, Oki had no clue. But causing such a ruckus nonetheless, was in hindsight, a terrible idea. Thinking about it, what even caused such a large fight? Oh, right. The ice lolly song. So, not only was the situation dangerous, but the situation was caused by something stupid. Oki glanced to the other guy, thinking back on what his name was. Kokai was it? With a sigh, he straightened his posture, moving his right hand to his left, bleeding shoulder, as if in a salute, before announcing. “I am Oki of the Kuma clan! This fight is my fault and my fault alone, sir! Little Kokai here was simply annoyed at my actions and I take full responsibility!” Yeah. He was digging himself in a big hole here. But he had a newfound respect for this guy. He stood still in the face of a flying cart, willing to take the hit for a child that would otherwise be hit. Oki may have wanted to suplex him into the ground a moment ago, but now, he was willing to take the fall. He hated unfairness, and if he was unfair in his amount of respect for someone, he would hate himself as well.

The two young fighters seemed to both understand how serious Harichimo was with his order and would drop all signs of combat either realizing the situation or coming down from the adrenaline highs. Once they had taken spots in front of the cart next to each other Harichimo would loosen his grasp on his weapon before dropping it back into his pocket. He would close his eyes and take some deep breaths as he had to bring himself back down as well. After a couple of breaths the reflection clone would dissipate and Harichimo would look around now at the crowd around them. Some looking with fear and others with awe of what had just happened. Harichimo thought nothing of it then him more as saving his student from a lose-lose situation. He would pace around the cart and then stand in front of his two students and look them over. Both seemed none the worse for wear. He had to admire the sight of his newest student that was built like a bear if it had taken a human form and even beat him in height by a couple inches.

As he stood before them silent, Kokai seemed to harbor some emotions but Oki would be the first to speak and placing the blame onto himself and away from Kokai. But both would have to listen in what he had to say. "I appreciate the humbleness Oki, but the both of you should have known better then to carry on a full brawl in the middle of a crowded spot. Hold on. Harichimo would turn away and face the crowd that had gathered around them and raise his hands into the air to get the attention of everyone. Alright everyone the show is over. Go about your lives and we will be out of here as quick as we can." Some people seemed to get the message as a majority of the crowd had dispersed so Harichimo could talk to the two without a bunch of spectators. "Now one by one here. Kokai I want to commend you on what I did see. Your ingenuity and ability to think on the fly are somethings that are showing of promise. We still need to work to hone your body as a weapon but that comes in time. And now you Oki. Your resourcefulness had almost won you that fight. Your clan is famed for their endurance and you seemed to carry yourself fine after taking the damage I had seen. But you seem to have been to caught up in the moment and acted completely on instinct which isn't bad in itself except when it can lead to collateral damage." Harichimo would walk towards the two men and pat them on their shoulders. "Don't be ashamed of what you two did but next time pick a better spot to deal with problems and disagreements. Now go ahead and bow to each other and give your new squad mates some respect for a good fight."

Harichimo would let the news sink in before pulling out the paperwork from earlier. He would hand over a page to Oki before he would continue to speak. "Welcome to squad three Oki." Harichimo would step back and let the two get some of their confidence back from his previous words and see how they would take in the news.

Kokai would watch his recent opponent limp over and look away from him with something of a mix of pride and guilt. He had done some damage to that leg after all and yet now that he looked back at why this had begun he did more damage than the situation may have called for. Hopefully Harichimo would heal the leg so that it didn't have any permanent damage. He was having fun with the fight and refused to lose but didn't need to end a shinobi's career over singing badly. Still he admitted he would of been far more on the defense had the man taken him on with a bear companion. Still Harichimo circling them and the cart made him nervous. However when Oki spoke up and tried to take all the blame Kokai would growl ever so slightly under his breath. He hadn't asked anyone to take the blame for him nor did he need him too. Still it was too late to say something in front of his sensei. He hated that someone was trying to claim responsibility for his actions but could not stop him for now. He would make it clear where he stood later. Somewhere less populated.

Harichimo began to speak and luckily scolded them both anyway. It was good that he wasn't indebted to Oki in his mind. He didn't want to have to pay up later. Instead he accepted the lecture and watched the ground in front of him while Harichimo dismissed the individuals watching. Obviously the shopkeepers would make their complaints to the admin office to be reimbursed. Likely he would be fined for damages. Hell, he would just bring that bill to Oki so the wealthy and proud Kuma could pay it off. He was just a poor kid anyway. Shouldn't expect shit from him. Still as Harichimo turned back to them he praised each of them in turn and explained what they needed to work on. A different location most of all. Still he approached them both and patted their shoulders before telling them to bow to each other and give some respect to his new squad mate. New Squad mate? He had to be kidding. Still he handed the papers to Oki and Kokai would feel his eye twitch at the concept. He was going to be stuck with this guy? They had a fight to finish and it was not going to be pretty. The idea of having him as a new squad mate was....well honestly it wasn't bad. He doubted he would need to watch his back and the guy had power for sure. Still he would Hesitate before turning and bowing to Oki. Looking him in the eye with the crimson eyes.

"Don't go thinking you won this fight just now. I landed more hits and I can still walk. Still...You got a pair for sure. Next time you and I have a match. Imma properly knock you out. Doubt me and see. Welcome to my squad Oki."

Oki listened intently as the Monolith began, Oki now feeling sheepish for his attempt to take the blame. Probably wasn’t the best idea, clearly wasn’t the best idea, but he tried. Meanwhile, just as assertively as the stranger had begun his talk, he paused, turning to dismiss the crowd with an authority that seemed to bellow respect without demanding it. It was a sight to see, the audience that had gathered parting and scattering as if it was never there to begin with. To Oki, it seemed that as soon as the crowd had dispersed, the Monolith was content to turn back and continue to talk. His speech began with priorities, the first of which being Kokai. Looking back, begrudgingly, Oki would have to agree that he did pretty much direct the way the fight went, attacking in a way to control where he hit Oki nearly flawlessly. The pain in his leg would also begrudgingly agree. After having his words directed to Kokai, the Monolith turned to Oki. Surprisingly to the bear ninja, he was commended on his strength, and for even throwing the cart. Or at least, maybe for throwing the cart. As expected, he was however, told off for the location in which they were fighting. To be expected. Oki simply nodded at the Monolith’s words.

Next, the Monolith would step forward and pat them on the shoulders, causing a flinch from the bear ninja as the hand taps his bleeding shoulder. Ouch. What came next surprised and confused Oki. Bow to your squad mate. Squad mate? He looked from the Monolith to Kokai, then back to the Monolith in confusion. Oki’s eyes focused on the papers the man passed to him, scanning them, slowly due to his struggle with tasks like reading. Oki was a member of squad 3 now, and apparently Kokai was a member of the same squad. Funny how these things seemed to work. Holding the paper firmly in his hand, he looked from who would apparently be his new sensei, to who would apparently be his new squad mate. With a nod, he bowed, quite sincere in the act. He wasn’t usually one to hold a grudge. He found interesting how his squad mate was also a taijutsu fighter, and even the fact that his sensei was a Monolith! Well, less interesting for the latter fact, more awesome. To be taught by one you respect? It’s a pretty nice feeling. As for his new squad mate, it’d be interesting. One thing he noticed for certain is that straight off the bat, it seemed to him that they’d be very good as a brawl team. He didn’t care to think about the weakness, that hurdle could be reached when it occurred. With a nod, he concluded that he looked forward to throwing Kokai, not as a fight, but throwing him towards an enemy. Sure, he’d need to agree to it, probably, but if he could convince his new ally to it, oh how great it’d be!

Kokai would be the first of the two to speak up. It seemed from his tone that perhaps he was unhappy with how the fight had gone. “Don’t go thinking you won this fight just now. I landed more hits and I can still walk. Still… You got a pair for sure. Next time you and I have a match, I’mma properly knock you out. Doubt me and see. Welcome to my squad Oki.” The bear man couldn’t help but chuckle slightly, nodding. “I won’t doubt you for a second! We shall train, new squad mate! And once we have trained, we shall spar for sure! You tell me to not doubt you, well now I warn you, don’t underestimate me!” with a hearty laugh, he added at the end. “May our missions together be prosperous!” Content that he had said all that needed to be said to Kokai, Oki proceeded to turn back to his new sensei, nodding. “Sensei, I may have given off a bad impression! Once more, I am Oki Kuma! I look forward to working together, sir!” His voice bellowed, loud and proud, Oki leaning all of his weight onto his right leg, left injured enough that he didn’t feel like putting pressure on it.

Harichimo was proud to see his students accepting their new found brotherhood. They bowed to each other and shared their words in a show of unity. Harichimo would take back the paper and fold it back up to put it in his robe's pocket. Now that introductions were over he still had to give information to his newer student. "Alright Oki. Kokai alrady knows so it is only fit for you as well. I will be responsible for helping you to grow into a competant and well rounded shinobi of the village, so if something arises or if you need someone to talk with then you can find me at my family's clinic where I spend most of my time. Speaking of which." Harichimo would take notice of Oki favoring one of his legs and thinking to himself. Looks like they may have done actual damage to each other or Oki pulled a muscle throwing the cart. Well that's why you are the medic of the village Harichimo. Work your magic medicine man. Harichimo would kneel down and look back up to the two before he would continue to speak.

"Now I can't have the both of you walking away without some sort of medical examination. Oki this is going to sting a bit as I have to put my hand on top of the leg for this to work properly so you will feel a shot fo pain for only a second sound good? And Kokai here just touch my other hand here and this will be a sort of lesson for you." Harichimo would put his hands together and focus to bring forth a strong green aura known as the Longevity technique. Once the aura was brought forth he would reach out and rest his hand on the leg to let the jutsu work it's magic. As his hand made contact he would reach his other hand out to Kokai in order to let the chakra jump onto his body if he would take the opportunity to heal himself of any injury he might have sustained. "This is a more powerful medical technique that allows me to pour my chakra into it and the person receiving the healing can command the chakra to go to where it is most needed. And it works at a much faster pace then most other techniques."

Harichimo would stay in this position until both of his students had taken their fill of his healing. When they would finish Harichimo would bring his hands back together to dissipate the technique. He would return to a standing position and wipe the dirt from his knee. "Now both of you do whatever it is you have to and hope that the Tsuchikage is still in as good a mood as I left him in when he hears about this all. For now I must head back to my duties at the clinic. I hope you both enjoy your days and be ready in a few days time I will have a mission or two lined up for the both of you to take on. That is all for now squad three." Harichimo would wave to his two students as he turned back the direction he had come from. The few people left standing around the trio would split apart for him to get through. This moment was definitely something he hadn't planned on to happen but it saved him the trouble of organizing the two for a meeting even with the unfortunate circumstances that be. He would make a running leap to jump up and onto the rooftop he had when he first arrived to look back once more at the bazaar and all the people that had just been witness to what his students were capable of even in their genin stages.

Harichimo would smile to himself at the thought of keeping the two in line and hopefully bringing them into chunin status as soon as he could. He would turn back and continue back home with a brisk pace as he would disappear from sight behind the rooftop he once stood and leaving almost no trace he had even been there.

Kokai glanced at the larger boy as he began his hearty laughter as if he had truly enjoyed the fight. He himself had to fight the urge to smile and shoved his hands into his pockets to avoid any fidgeting on his part. It had been a fun fight but he wasn't really sure who would have won if there had been no surroundings and no civilians. He had some tunnel vision so it had taken him some time to consider them anyway but in his mind the fight could have gone on for some time without them. Pests they were. People who knew little of the outside world or the forces the shinobi contended with. Truthfully Kokai wished to have a rematch right then with Oki but that was not an acceptable ideal at the current moment. Still the guy was easy to follow mentally which made him sort of likable. Even though they had instantly gotten into a brawl during their first encounter and a small set of bruises was forming scattered along his back he paid that little mind. Someone that could fight him seriously and enjoy it like he did and not hold a grudge after was alright. Especially since he apologized. The idea of more prosperous missions though was nice. He had to admit that. For now he would keep playing the part of too tough to like anyone and click his tongue against his teeth and look away as if bored.

Still Harichimo collected the document again and spoke of his families clinic. He wondered if it could contain both the men without suffering damage. After all the two of them obviously wouldn't be great together shoulder to shoulder. Likely they would end up in another scrap unless Harichimo stopped them. Still he watched Harichimo take note of his opponents leg and he hid a slight smirk of pride. Thats right...he accomplished somethin. Go team Kokai. Still his crimson eyes blinked as Harichimo spoke of a lesson for him to learn and began to gather medical chakra. Speaking to oki about a slight sting before reaching down and touching the knee lighting up the big bear man like a green lantern. He rose an eye brow not wanting to show he had been injured as he could hide it. Idly he went to tap the hand away from himself only to surprisingly catch the green aura in that instant. He immediately felt the pain in his back fade and saw light coming off of himself before he sighed. Careful not to let it feed on any of his chakra as he spoke while looking to the side.

"I didn't need that. I was fine. Anyway I have places to be. See you around newbie."

With that he turned and walked away as the light faded and it didn't attach and leech from his chakra. His hands still shoved in his pockets as he went off in search of a milk shake. The newbie was a reference to Kokai being in the squad first. But if Oki had no context he didn't care. He needed to go and hit something....like a punching bag a lot. Milk shake and then striking practice. He was going to build up his speed and his strength so that next time they fought, next time he would dominate the big bugger. Even if he brought his bear Kokai intended to be far to intense to handle. Hell he would even try and one up the guy on this mystery mission. See if he couldn't get more points or something. He just needed to observe and play along with the battles yet to come.

Oki watched as his new sensei took the paper back, stuffing it away as one could expect.  He nodded, listening as the new sensei informed him of where he could be found, and some other information regarding the squad. At that, the man crouched in front of the large bear, seemingly focused on his injured knee. He began speaking of medical examination, seemingly more so about Oki than Kokai. Oki had to admit, he had taken more damage. Although he could have easily done more damage. He did, after all, stab himself. Deciding to take the monolith’s warning, Oki closed his eyes, preparing for a bit of pain to his knee, more than there currently was. As expected, it hurt. He couldn’t see what the man was doing, and honestly, he preferred not to know. But it was uncomfortable, painful. Not severely so, but enough to make him flinch a bit. After all, a fracture was suddenly fixing itself. However you looked it, that wasn’t natural, wasn’t what is supposed to happen to bones.

Once Harichimo was sure his healing was done, he got up, Oki opening his eyes and watching. With a hum, he stretched his injured leg out, quite pleased to find the pain significantly gone. He grinned, giving his sensei a thumbs up for repairing the damage his new squad mate had dealt. Content that his work was done, or at least it seemed that way to Oki, Harichimo dismissed the duo, turning and walking away, the crowd that had gathered departing like butter to a knife where he walked. Oki hummed once more, smirking. So, the sensei was already preparing for a mission for the squad? Awesome.

The next to depart was Kokai, who spoke almost to the side rather than to anyone in particular, leaving just as Harichimo did. He didn’t quite say as many words as the monolith, but from what he understood of his new team mate, he was a grumpy sod, so, that is to be expected. Oki meanwhile, didn’t straight away walk home. Instead, he just stood there, mind thinking through the events once more. Then, as suddenly and obnoxiously as he always was, he laughed. An uproarious laugh. To him, this was not only a learning experience, meeting his new squad and learning that there were good fights out there, but it was just funny and stupid to him how everything started. With a sigh, contently filled of his laughter, he turned to walk off as well. The only thing in his mind now, was where did his bloody bear walk off to?
