- Seek Out the Blacksmith:
Mission name: Seek Out the Blacksmith
Mission rank: C
Objective: Locate the Blacksmith's Residence
Location: The Dense Forest
Reward: 110 ryo
Mission description: Due to your constant nagging about wanting a katana, the administration has sent you to seek out a retired shinobi known as the Blacksmith in order to forge your own sword. He lives in the deep parts of the forest, so you may encounter some missing ninja on the way. Once you arrive at his abode, the Blacksmith will assign you missions from there in order to help you forge your blade.
Mission details: On your way there, you will encounter two D-rank missing-nin with D-0 stats who both specialize in ninjutsu. One knows Raiton and has access to all D-rank Raiton library jutsu, and one knows Suiton and has access to all D-rank Suiton library jutsu. When you arrive at the Blacksmith's abode, he will challenge you to a duel and you must accept, leading into the next mission.
- Making an Impression:
Mission name: Making an Impression
Mission rank: C
Objective: Duel the Blacksmith with enough vigor to impress him.
Location: The Dense Forest
Reward: 110 ryo
Mission description: In order to see if you are worth his time, the Blacksmith has challenged you to a duel. You must show enough passion to become his student! You both are to use C-rank katanas from his large collection of blades in order to make it a fair fight.
Mission details: He is an extremely powerful ninja, and you will lose for certain! However, in the end, if he is happy with how you dueled and sees potential, he will take you in under his wing.
- Space Sword?:
Mission name: Space Sword?
Mission rank: C
Objective: Collect a sack full of rocks from the meteorite to forge a blade.
Location: The Dense Forest
Reward: 110 ryo
Mission description: A fallen meteor said to be older than chakra itself is located within the Dense Forest. It is your job to retrieve enough rock from there to forge a blade from the space rock itself. Unfortunately, a hive of criminals have made this their new home, making the retrieval of this space rock unusually tricky - so the Blacksmith has lended you a C-rank katana for this mission.
Mission details: There will be six criminals scattered around the site with D-0 stats. They are armed with E-rank knives and can use basic Taijutsu strikes. You do not have to confront these guys, as long as you can collect the rocks without them noticing you.
- A Final Test:
Mission name: A Final Test
Mission rank: C
Objective: Have one last duel with the Blacksmith.
Location: The Dense Forest
Reward: 110 ryo
Mission description: Now that you have forged your own blade out of a meteorite, you are to duel the Blacksmith, who will wield a C-rank katana while you wield your new blade, for the last time before returning back home. Make sure to impress him!
Mission details: [Before beginning this mission, you must already have the Tentetsutou in your inventory.] You will lose again, but you should make sure to perform better than you did the last time you dueled him!
