The food that Gō had experienced in Suna was amazing, and he could still feel the slight hum from some the last dish he had from a highly accredited restaurant. That being said, he was low on money from his frivolous food purchases, and he desperately wanted to make more to maintain his appetite. Leaving Suna was rough for him though as he would miss the sunny days. As he crossed the borders, the young ninja felt a sense of dread as the growing cold that surrounded him made him begin to shiver slightly. A rhythmic clop was made on the hard stone surface from Gō walking on it with hard wooden shoes. Either unphased by the noise or accustomed to it, the Genin slightly read a hard covered book that he had obtained that recounted legends of the Seven Swordsman. While he had heard definitely heard of the group before, the stories in this book were entertaining recounts of some of their popularized stories. paying little attention to the path directly in front of him he took notes inside of his book on techniques the authors used and inspirational scenes that could have useful techniques inside of them. Most of the Techniques in the book had killing as their main goal, a goal that didn't align with his too strongly.

As the sun began to set and he neared closer to Kiri, the genin settle down by a small oasis placing the few objects of little value he owned at the pond's edge. He took a long, deep breath and began to walk upon the water for close to one hundred meters away from where he sat his bag and sat calmly down in the pond's center. He slowly would alter his chakra to match the waning and waxing of the water as the small waves rose and fell beneath him. Gō then closed his eyes and purely focused on the feelings the water gave off: the cold moisture on his legs, the soothing lifting and lowering it did to him, the subtle drops of water that flew onto his arms, and then the disturbances made when fish leaped feet out of the water. He began coming even closer to an understanding of what the water element around him was in its essence. His slow, purposeful breaths were visible every time his shoulders fell and his slightly quivering stomach pulled inwards. He did his best to seem more like a statue than a person as he focused on his chakra alone in the cold to meditate the night away.

As the rays of Suna's morning time rose on the meditating Aeko child, and he felt the warmth of morning vitalize his body, he slowly pulled himself out of meditation. He had cycled through different elements in his meditations, and as the night went by he began to design new useful jutsu in his mind after moving back to the sand to finish meditating once his chakra ran low. A small tortoise passed by, not paying any mind to the ronin with scratches and abrasions on his legs, but Go slowly opened his eyes as the animal passed by him. Without hesitation his arm snapped out and grasped the creature by its neck before twisting its body a full 360 in the same motion with his other hand, quickly killing it as painlessly as he could. "May the circle never be broken as Bahamut flows into me through you my friend." After Go mouthed his silent prayer before heading over to his bag and grabbing a few, white, glistening utensils from his bag as he prepared his recently captured meal.

After a few hours when the Suns heat began to warm the sand, Go made his departure towards the Village Hidden in the Mist. In side of the small pit where he had made his fire there was a small sculpture of a tortoise made from charred wood. It stood over the embers as if it was climbing out of them and reaching one of its forelegs towards a foothold that no one else could see. Its life had been no different though. If it would have never shown up in front of Go, it most likely would have went the rest of its life unnoticed. Go's token was in remembrance to this life, one that was forcefully taken, so for the meal he had received this was his tribute. He marched on though to the Mist and towards the Iron Falls Mercenaries.

After traveling another day and resting the night away, dawn arrives once again as the sun slowly emerges out of the Hanguri Gulf. Its warm orange filling the last moments of Go's time in the sand with its warm incandescent splendor, and symbolizing the emergence of new experiences to be had and enjoyed. Go pauses for a moment to let the sun warm his cold skin before started off in his geta, making contact with the water as if were land. Effortlessly he travels over the water for hours as the sun slowly migrates floats upwards reflecting its all to refreshing heat off of the gulf's surface.

Warm breezes continue to lick the surface of the water as filling Go's lungs with a warm air that combats his cold-natured body's ailment at least temporarily as he exerted sprinted to the next landmass. A few miles into his run he began to see boats as he ran past them he waved to the folks within as he began to feel the warmth for the exercise pump through his veins. Hours passed and eventually the was beaming over head, normally someone in Go's position might have started sweating, but he was no normal person. He could feel the symptoms of his sickness begin to kick in and a terrible chills fell over him as his body began to obey him less and less. He pushed on until dusk though when he had finally reached the Land of Water.
