Mission details:

You will see that passed a tree line,there is a grand courtyard, weathered and beaten with age. The cracked stones had grass overgrowing them, high enough to reach one’s own knees, and weeds spewed about. Multiple bodies in three burnt piles, caused pitch black scorch marks on the ground. The statues of gargoyles had lost in a battle with nature as most had been grown over or broken into pieces, scattered across the land in various places. One of them by a large fountain that gurgled a deep crimson color that was far too thick to allow the fountain to run properly. Clean it all up and restore the fountain to working condition.

Yasuo reread the mission details and decided to get started working. It seems now that Sero-sama had listened to their advice and called a cleaning crew in order to fix up the manor. However the manor had been left to shambles for two decades and required more than a little elbow grease to get it back into working order. Seeing as this would be a tremendous task to overtake, various construction companies were called to aide however as Sero’s reputation proceeds him, most were too fearful to take on the work that was needed. They feared for their lives once they saw where the work was needed, some even calling out to be a trap, that the dread lord was out to get them for they had spit on his name despite all he done for them. It was true Sero-sama was the picture boy of Kiri but not whom they wanted around personally. Perhaps that was why his manor was often raided and none were too keen on aiding him.

Thankfully Yasuo had the friends Sero did not and was able to coerce a few to work on this job with him, they needed the money anyway and typically didn’t care about the details of the work given to them. Hikari and Kuro, the Nana twins, were in town for now on a break from work and offered their aid as well to which Yasuo thanked them for. Seeing the girls again brought some warmth to their black heart as it had been quite some time since they had seen them. After accepting the job to work at the manor, Yasuo was faced with a dilemma. No longer could they travel as freely as before with the girls, as they were now a servant under the Osada giant but a member of Kirigakure’s own corps as well so they were forced to remain here, no longer doing as they pleased. Yasuo remembered when they told the girls of this, they were indeed very upset. Of course Kuro tried to play it off as well but despite her attitude Yasuo knew the news hit her quite hard. That was why whenever Yasuo had the chance they would spend as much time as possible with them, barring their usual arrangement for work.

For now however they could keep the scheming away and act as normal folk out on a job. Granted they weren’t doing as much of the job as others since Hikari was trying to impress Yasuo and win their favor by doing most of the work, at least the destructive part with her fists of fury, destroying the gargoyles and any debris before some workers piled them up onto a wagon to be later disposed. Kuro on the other hand was working with the plumbers on what was causing the back up in the pipes that was causing the overflow of blood in the fountain and trying to fix it thus they left the landscaping details to Yasuo. Disposing of the burnt piles as easy as only the scorch marks remain. No matter, it would all be cleaned up in a jiffy as Yasuo ordered some men to tear it down along with the overgrown shrubbery and replace it with new fawna that will make it glow. That’s at least part of the work load done.
