Ryu Myugan
D-rank
Ryu had been chilling on the streets as usual with his possey hanging out around the block and checking up on enemy territories and gang movements. So far it seemed like no one was moving in on his territory but that wouldn't last too long. Still he reached into his inner coat pocket and pulled out a cigarette before flipping it the right way around and planting it in between his lips. Lighting it with a spark from his finger as he kept eyes down the street. He was not one to let his guard down but damn he needed to relax. He was leaned up against the wall with combat boots with the steel toe on the outside of the boot. Blue jeans tucked over the top to hide the laces with a black belt holding them up. Ever since that one kid pantsed him in a fight it seemed oddly necessary. Still he was wearing a white tank top and his usual black jean coat with the front open and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Each hand had gloves on with the fingers poorly cut off and black bandanas wrapped around his wrists to hide his prison numbers. His hair was tied back in a black wrap but a few long strands of blonde hair hung out anyway. His tanned skin and tribal tattoo's seemed to shine in the light a little but he didn't pay anyone noticing any mind. Over his right eye his eye patch sat where it always did. Hiding the abnormality which was his purple eye. He hated having it and hated anyone who knew he had it even more.
Still his attention was drawn to a couple of pretty girls obviously from outside the slums who were riding a bike through the street and giggling. One girl peddled while the other sat on the back and tossed out fliers as they flew by. Both of them wearing school girl uniforms to the school from the main part of Suna. So the hipsters and rich kids were doing something eh? As they flew by Ryu made eye contact with the one throwing out fliers and watched her as she winked at him and tossed a flier before they were gone in a cloud of dust. Idly he reached out and caught the piece of paper fluttering downwards before spinning it to read it. Inhaling on his smoke as the ember at the end slowly ate away at it. It appeared there was to be a party at the border of the slums closest to the main village. Probably a little saftey net for the good kids that had an easy life. Still inviting the slums peeps was a risk. Probably just wanting a huge turn out and a big party. However for him this meant a scam oppertunity. Rich kids always wanted to play all the drinking games. With his natural immunity to it he could drink a half dozen of them under the table before having to pretend to be to drunk to continue and heading off. After all if drunk, entitled kids thought hard enough and realized they were being scammed it could end in a fight. Drawing to much attention to himself. He needed money though.
Still he moved from his spot and began his walk towards the border of the slums. Tapping one of the bigger guys watching his block to let him know where Ryu was heading and to make sure at least one person remained there to keep an eye on the place. After being reassured it wouldn't burn down while he was gone Ryu nodded and was on his way. It was dusk when he finally reached the place and tossed his third smoke to the side letting it burn itself out in the sand. His eye scanning the place as dance music began to play with a heavy beat. Quickly he moved in and found the room off to the side where people were already taking bets on shots and who could out drink who and took a seat. He was handed tequila and for the first round it was easy. Four shots in the other bloke threw up. It seemed he was drinking tequila too fast. For Ryu though it was like foul water. He could handle that. Still the next song switched over and the speakers pounded as the next guy sat down with a confident smirk and put his money down. This was going to be profitable. That much he was sure of.
