Information:

After a long period of peace and quiet following the last great war, where the hidden village of Konoha was able to stand on its own and avoided the fate of being swiped away by otherworldly foe, there was a long period of peace and resting for the hidden leaf. But as most of the veterans of the previous generation withdraw back to behind the curtain, and hidden away from the public view, with some disappearing into legends and others moving away to another village, for the time being, the position of combat units in Konoha seems to be filled by new Genin who are inexperienced in fights. With missions previously reserved for more experienced Ninjas now regularly going over to new Academy graduates, acting alone and without a team. The previous standard four people squad seems to be non-existent in Konoha for the moment, and it was okay since the village life in Konoha was peaceful and without any obvious publicly known threats for a very long period of time.

There are still conflicts happening around other parts of the world, but for the most part, the hidden leaf seems to be left out from the battles for the time being, and as the village of Konoha seems to be buzz with life once again, and with new Genins running around randomly taking on missions and training and exploring the outward land, like a great old tree, the hidden village of Konoha seems to be spreading out some new leafs on its branch, spreading out and starting to grow again.

But not everything was all rainbow and sunshine in Konoha, as it would have let people believed on the outside, rumor has it that something was happening behind the scene, that even caught some of the veterans' attention. With some of the previous legendary Ninjas returning back to Konoha after a long period of time of absences, and with some of the existing experienced Ninjas suddenly went missing or being send off to long term secret missions to another village, there was a little bit of uneasiness among some of the older Ninja population, who knows just a little bit more than the younger generation, but they are keeping it quiet for the sake of maintaining and reserving the blissfulness that Konoha currently has.

As far as new Genins are concerned, toady was a pretty good Saturday morning, with great weather, great sunshine and warm and comfortable wind.

Shihai has just finished sending off massive letters to the new Genins (copied off mailing address from a phone book, no doubt most of it will went straight to spam) by a way of message birds, sharing a rumor that she has overhead from one of the Ramen stands and asking for their help to capture a Sannin. Back up a bit, when Shihai was returning from her last mission, and got hungry and dashed into the market place for a bowl of ramen, she accidentally overheard the customers beside her talking about the appearance of a legendary Ninja goes by the name of Rippa or Rappa or something like that, stating that the last sighting of the white hair Ninja was somewhere around the Saints Compound very near the market place, and that something about the Sannin was thinking about taking in students? (it was a rumor) and that he would likely still hang around there from time to time.

Shihai's eyes lighten up at that, she knows that some of the legendary ninjas are starting to take on students now, first it was Kenta of the Inuzuka clan, then Amaya Uchiha, (read about them in reports here and there) some of her follow classmates are fortunate enough to find themselves a sensei already. Shihai had hopped to find this phantom Ninja in question and asked to be taken in as a student, but first she need to find him first. So she has spend a good part of last night writing up junk mail...I meant...extremely informative mails to other Genin, asking everybody to be on watch out for the phantom Ninja with white hair. Hopefully with so many people on watch out they could capture it...wait what...?

Anyway, she headed out to the Saint Compound as soon as she finished sending out the last of the message birds, and hopefully some of them didn't went to spam. Running fast, Shihai stopped in front of the iconic giant stone, of the Saint's Compound, but find that no one else was there yet, she seems to be the first one to get to this place. The phantom Ninja was also no where to be seen. Considering between shouted out to the sky on the off chance that he was here and she just hasn't seen him, and getting his attention this way, or hiding somewhere to watch for anyone coming over this way, she decided on the latter and hides in the shadows of one of the oak trees.

If later on someone else would come by, she would come out of hiding and attempts to convince them to go on this ghost hunt with her, or if the Phantom Ninja comes by, she could try to convince him to take on students.

Aisling

An official member of Konoha. Aisling wasn't entirely sure what kind of strings got pulled, or what favors got called in to make this happen seeing that the village's leadership seemed non-existent and had been for some time. But, she was glad nonetheless to have been presented with the Konoha village headband she now wore hanging around her neck quite proudly. To have an actual home again, a place to go back to at the end of the night where she could feel safe and secure... there were no words to describe that kind of feeling after the hell and torture the pink haired female had gone through nearly six years ago. Living with her cousin, Amaya Uchiha, was also a bonus because it meant she got to hear all about the rather disturbing and sometimes funny things that happened at the hospital - such as the man who had stuck his hand into a lions cage on a drunken bet and ended up getting it chewed off. Why anyone would do something like that drunk or sober was beyond her, but she had got a small bit of a chuckle out of it.

So yes, Aisling was quite happy with her new situation, even it meant that there now was a highly detailed file on her past and the horrible things that had happened to her not only sitting likely in some administrative office filing cabinet somewhere, but also within some hospital office due to the extensive damage that had been done to her for any high ranking medic or shinobi to take a look at at their leisure. She could only imagine the images the file held too, considering how well documented Amaya had ensured things were when she was taking care of her. But, Aisling wasn't going to dwell on that too hard.

For now Amaya was busy off with a squad or working a round in the hospital and Aisling had decided that sitting home bored simply wasn't something she had any interest in doing. So, she set out of the house and began to simply wander. She knew Konoha pretty well from when she had visited it on and off throughout the years so it wasn't like she needed to figure out where everythin was. She simply just liked to walk sometimes, and allow her feet to take her where they wished. At the moment that was near a compound she had never actually seen before and it caused her to pause in curiosity.

As she glanced around with golden colored eyes she would reach up her right hand and push a few stray strands of pink hair out of her face and behind her ears: her ponytail was loose again which was why they were falling out but she couldn't be bothered to fully fix it at that moment. Instead, she folded her arms across her rather generous chest and shifted her weight to one leg comfortably as she attempted to decide which way she wanted to go next - and also trying to guess whose compound she was in front of.

Rippa

Rippa was finally getting some much needed rest within the compound. He had been asleep for about five hours now before sunrise having had to go out on one of the many incursions the night before. Several forces moving along the border that didn't seem to belong to a major country but rather some larger bandit group. They lacked military organization or tactics but they had numbers and power. His role had been field commander and sniper for the entire day from morning to just after nightfall when his effectiveness as a sniper plummeted. They had resorted to using flares for an hour after sunset but the enemy had realized the flares provided an opening for the sniper and started taking cover whenever a flare went up. Having lost his effectiveness and being exhausted from fighting for an entire day he had left another more experienced man in command and retired with night attacks having subsided for the time. Those there were meant to monitor the situation and rouse him should the enemy begin moving again. He had taken down dozens but they kept pushing against the sword saints even though they were gaining little in the way of ground. Their enemy was not superior to them but certainly persistent. Still he had struggled to find sleep for a bit before finally he had rested his head on the pillow for a final time and faded away from this world to sleep. Even now his tired body was feeling rejuvinated.

However his peaceful sleep could not continue for long. Even if he had been aware of the genin outside the compound he wouldn't of had time to address them just yet. All was peaceful at the compound as the sun had risen and the air was still cold from the starry night. However all that seemed to shatter in an instant. Outside the front gate a whole group of people suddenly flashed in from seemingly out of no where and screaming erupted into the air. Already Rippa's eyes snapped open to the sound so distant from his chambers even before the alarm bell began to ring endlessly. It wasn't a war cry but rather the constant screaming of immense pain and suffering. Quickly he rose from his bed and slipped on a red robe over his black shorts and silver tank top. A samurai robe he kept around. He tied it quickly and ran out without even bothering with sandals as the big compound doors swung open. In rushed four people being carried on stretchers. The one in the lead the one screaming as half his face was burned to blackened and charred mess. Two behind him were stirring but had wounds from some large type of blade and the last one in the group. The one his blue eyes fell on with remorse was a younger member...his face was covered and most of the sheet covering him was stained red. He was already lost. Dead well before he could be brought home.

Rippa clicked his teeth in frustration before suddenly flash stepping in the middle of the group. Two men on each cart carrying them continued to Jog as Rippa seemed to move with them at a comfortable pace for him towards the medical barracks. Quickly his hands reached down to touch the warm blood of the two stirring. Two girls that focused in combination hook sword tactics. He remembered sparring them in a two on one in which he had been hard pressed to keep a hold of his own weapons. He sighed as he ignored the blood staining his hands and focused his chakra. Gradually a red chakra spread from his hands to the girls as the wounds on their body slowly stopped bleeding and closed just as they made it to the medical barracks. They would be stable for the time being. However he flash stepped this time to the screaming one as they laid him down on a bed and Rippa leaned over him holding him by the head as he focused the same red chakra into him with slower success. He knew this one too. Their squad leader which specialized in spears. He was a strong one. By the looks of it he had been the focus of a katon attack. Still as his burns faded his screams were replaced with sobs as the body of the final one...a young man who had used a katana was sent down to the morgue. His hand grabbed Rippa by the wrist as he sobbed and tried to speak.

"I got them killed Boss....they followed me on patrol and we were...ambushed....they killed him as I burned..a big man with an axe caught him in the chest.....I watched him die...my responsibility....and he died."

Rippa shushed him and brushed his hair back finishing up the medical jutsu before focusing another bit of chakra to draw the man into slumber. He would get a report later about what happened. For now he was going to take a moment of silence for the lost and know that this squad would never be the same. It would be a while before they could feel able to go into the field again. Damn that enemy for morning ambushes. They had to of known of the patrol routes. He nodded to one of the men who brought them in before moving to a table and grabbing a pen and a scroll. He scribbled down instructions to pull in all patrols and double patrol sizes and change up the routes and times. He handed it to the man before sending the messenger back without even time for a break to eat. He watched him run off dutifully through the gates left open and turned to walk across the yard. Over to a hand washing trough where he dipped his blood soaked fingers into the cool water and began to scrub off the blood. A hell of a way to wake up with one dead and a squad torn up.

What a beautiful morning. The chirping of the birds outside was accompanied by the warm, gentle beams of sunlight that slowly sneaked into Umeko's house - slowly, yet steadily, waking the teenager from their rest. The girl took a few more moments of rest within the covers of her bed, until she finally rose onto her feet - deciding its time to start her day.
Ah, mornings. She hated them. Waking up seemed like the worst process in the entire day for her - no matter how smoothly it went, it never felt good. She paced in her small house, traveling from her room to the living room several times; until she finally stopped, an idea abruptly coming into life within her mind. Truth to be told, this wasn't such a special idea, quite the ordinary one - going to train somewhere outside wasn't even close to being unique. She figured every other fresh genin would be doing this ; and those who aren't, were simply fools.

A deep breath has been gradually taken into her body, flowing through it as she aimed to walk out of the house. Her path comes to a short end, where she finally notices a letter just under the door she opened. "What the-- A letter..?" She asked aloud, unnoticeably speaking to herself. It's picked up calmly, opened shortly afterwards - her keen pair of eyes ready to skim through it.
"Huh.. Who could this phantom ninja be? Tsk." She wondered, the letter still held for her to look at; as if questioning it and its information. Training.. Or this. A task that could end up being, well, meaningless. In case that this wasn't right.
"Gotta delay my training now.. Tsk." She continued, the letter hastily stored within one of her pockets.

Now, with a new route in mind - she began her journey for today. To the saints compound. 'This better not be some joke..' The teenager thought to herself, one of her legs kicking dirt up ; evidently annoyed. The idea of it being a fake letter, some prank that was made to play with her...
She couldn't think of this. Umeko leisurely shook her head, in a sad attempt at trying to dismiss that thought away. The road wasn't that long, but she was still not close - so this time could be used for thinking too! Why is she even going? Even if she finds that shinobi, what could she tell him - or ask him? The female wasn't sure, but at the same time; testing something like this.. Sounded oddly enough - fun. That alone should have been a good enough of a reason.
For someone else, maybe. Not for Umeko.

It took her some time to arrive, and it was her dear time she was wasting currently - so this better pay off. She better find that person. Whoever they will be, they will be caught today!
Her bright cerulean-blue colored eyes gazed at the familiar statue that stood within the compound. It's examined languidly, as if she was expecting the shinobi to stood right there ; like he was supposed to replace this statue. "Tsk.." She hissed under her breath, a tad annoyed now. She decides to turn, her back softly laid against the statue - her eyes now used to scan through this area. She expected someone else to be here.
Other than her, there was only other person around - which couldn't be the phantom shinobi.. Right? This girl was even shorter than her! And she had pink hair! She definitely was no phantom ninja.

 - "Are you here to find that phantom-person too? Tsk." She questioned, almost fully pointing with her chin at Aisling. She felt like she was still wasting her time - but she's already here. She can't leave so soon.

Waiting behind a giant boulder is one way to spend your day, albeit not a very interesting way but it was still a way nonetheless. And damn it if Shihai is going to have to wait behind a giant rock during this entire time, then she will make it interesting even if it kills her! (metaphorically)

Clutching her fist as she crushed some grass with her hands, (why) she tries to recall all of the mental exercises that she read about in the "How to be an awesome Ninja in 30 days or less" a self help book written by The Great Leaf Eater.

Tip number one, an awesome Ninja is always on alert of their surroundings, try playing I spy with my little eyes game whenever you have the opportunity to do so, and try to do it in a way that does not endanger your fellow teammate, remember, friendly fire is only fun when double crossing and in battle sacrifices, and in no other situations.

Shihai narrowed her gaze seriously (really) and peer over the giant rock, trying to have a glance of the surroundings, all seems to be quiet and nothing was out of the ordinary.

Nodding to herself, Shihai was about to retreat back to her giant rock, when the corner of her vision caught a flash of white, black and red bolted by, speed across the mid air towards the outer village compound.

Shihai immediate came out from the giant rock, trying to get a better look at the figure, wearing an Anbu uniform and a mask, despite moving in a slightly unbalanced fashion as if injured somehow, the Anbu disappeared from the view in the blink of an eye. Just when Shihai was about to give it a chase, the Anbu reached across a roof top and disappeared from her visual field.

Shihai paused and blinks once, when she opened her eyes once again, her eyes turns burning golden, activating her GKK at once, she picked up multiple heat signatures. (Which is to be expected consider that she was standing inside one of the largest village of this world.)  Sighing in defeat, trying to pick up one particular heat signature amongst many others is still too difficult and too high leveled for her, despite being a Kimura, she doesn't even know how her own GKK works, mostly whenever her GKK worked it was due to luck than skills.

She was still concerned that she was able to spot an Anbu speed across the field like that. Contrary to myth, Anbu don't exclusively worked during night time, but they still try very hard to not to be seen most of the time while wearing the uniform (according to her brother, whose credibility is being called into question by Shihai since forever. ) Still, that's high level Ninja's business, and nothing a little Genin should be concerned about.

Taking in a large yum, she stretch out a little, feeling slightly sleepy having staying up all night writing and copy paste junk mail...useful information, and waking up early to mailed the junk...useful information. Shihai was about to return to her giant rock when she noticed two girls standing aside from her.

She doesn't recognize either of them, but both of them appear to be around her age so she thought that maybe they are also Genins who somehow overheard about the rumor and are here to investigate on the Phantom Ninja. Shihai nods, three pairs of eyes are better than one, and with more people on the watch out, we could surely capture this random Ninja faster!

Shihai approaches the other two girls. "Hey guys! You guys heard about the rumor too? Some kind of Ninja who was dragging blood everywhere and was maybe taking in students, but you have to spot and caught him first?" (rumor got exaggerated after circling for a few rounds)

Another female arrived, one whom she hadn't seen before, and spoke to her which startled Aisling slightly though she hid it well. She wasn't used to people coming out of the blue and asking questions or making assumptions like had just happened therefore it took her a second or two to form a response. "I'm... sorry? What?" Phantom person? Was there some sort of ghost floating around? If so, how did one go about capturing such a thing. Maybe Aisling was just taking things too literally, but she was quite out of the loop on what was going on.

Another individual, yet another female, made their presence known as well following this. She began to speak but Aisling's attention was pulled in the direction of several injured looking individuals who ran past and into the compound. Alarms then started going off, signaling that something was clearly wrong. Aisling, though new to being a Genin of Konoha - not a Genin in general, however - knew that those alarms meant trouble. Though, the injured individuals who had raced past had clearly made that obviously known already...

Instead of responding to the female who seemed to be speaking as if nothing strange had just happened Aisling took off in the direction that the injured had gone. She was a Genin, therefore it was her duty to try and help her village and the people within it to the best of her ability when dire situations occurred. This was one of those situations, therefore she pushed all thought of this phantom being out of her mind and focused on the here and now. She would arrive, given her much slower speed, in time to see a lot of blood and someone working on the injured with the skills that Aisling could recognize as belonging to a medic - she had spent enough time around Amaya to recognize it after all, let alone seen it first hand while Amaya was busy fixing her up after the incident a few years ago.

The blood caused a small shiver to run up her spine, not because blood sickened her or bothered her, but rather because of the flashbacks she had of her own injuries and being covered in her own blood. She pushed it back though, repressing it. Now was not the time to freak out, now was the time to offer some kind of help. "Is there anything I could do to help? I'm not a medic, but I could grab my cousin Amaya if needed.", she would speak up, her golden colored gaze focused on Rippa. Aisling waited a response, prepared to run off at a moments notice to grab her cousin Amaya if that was necessary: thankfully, she knew exactly where she was at that moment in time because she was doing rounds at the hospital today. Still, she wasn't going to jump the gun: she would wait to see what this individual said first - it looked after all like he had things under control, even if Aisling had no medical expertise to back up such an assumption.

Rippa sighed as he leaned against the water tray and took a moment to wake up. His hands were still a little dyed red from the blood he had touched when he healed the individuals now resting in the other room. The division was not known for its medical and while they accepted help from the medical division when it was offered it was not offered often. Most of the time they just stated they had a high ranking medic in the division and to rely on him. It was as if the two divisions were sour towards each other which he could understand a little. The medical division was a heavily profitable sanction of the ANBU that didn't really suffer any casualties often. Most of their work was within the safety of the village and their ratings were high while their costs needs met it. However a portion of the funds were diverted towards supporting the sword saints division which was making only a little profit with it's blacksmiths and people willing to train with the blade. The money for that was barely enough to keep the compound running and certainly not enough for all the rations and materials needed for battle. Along with that the village had to pay each shinobi when they went into battle and the sword saints went into battle a lot. So the medical divisions high profits were being dumped into a cash hole that irritated them when they asked for physical support as well.

He was so lost in thinking about the social and political ethics of the village that he hadn't noticed a girl approaching and certainly not the two bickering outside the gate. When she spoke he twitched with a start and looked at her with shining blue eyes as he was surprised. It wasn't good letting someone who wasn't even trying to sneak approach him unnoticed. He certainly had grown relaxed since his uncles assassinations attempts had stopped. He was concerned with the sudden dissappearance of that man as soon as Rippa became captain but over time it had become a side note in the back of his mind. Still he recognized her from the time she had hugged who he now knew was Kenta inuzuka. With that in mind he highly doubted she was there to kill him. Still he smiled as his shoulders visibly relaxed as she spoke. It wasn't often someone had offered to help outside of the compound but still it was a nice gesture. His eyes met hers and being near him when he was smiling made the air seem warm and relaxed. Still he relaxed his chakra a little and suddenly the faint red stains on his hands seemed to absorb into his skin. His blood chakra was eating away the blood on the outside and absorbing it. A subtle thing but watching the red fade to a normal skin tone on its own might be a surprise. Still he leaned back against the trough and rested his hands on either side of him. He seemed tired but kind. When he spoke his voice was warm and relaxing like a practiced doctors bedside.

"While kind of you, I have done all a medic nin can do for now. No need to fetch your cousin from her other patience or slumber if she is still asleep. Perhaps though I could learn your name? Of course as manners dictate I will introduce myself first. Captain Chi Rippa at your service. Though if you know Amaya she might know be better as Dr. Chi . Her profession usually doesn't care for the title captain."

OOC:

She barely managed to get a semi-greeting in before something happened. There were more Ninjas coming out from the inner walls and rushing towards the outer part of the village, presumably acting as reinforcement along with the first Anbu that she spotted. Lifting her head up in alert and watching the direction of where the other Ninjas were going, she could faintly heard some commotions going on up ahead in that general direction, and it was so obvious that she didn't even need some fancy Jutsu or a bloodline GKK to realize that something was wrong. Frowning, Shihai wonders what was happening, that part of the area should still belongs to the hidden leaf, why was there a commotion so big inside of Konoha that requires multiple Ninjas as reinforcement, even if it was the outer part, just what is going on here?! Just when Shihai was thinking about that, and stopping whatever she was going to say mid-sentence, the other girls seems to have run into the same concern. The mood for conversation was dispelled in a moment's notice, no one talked, people are standing in alert and watching what was going on in the distance.

The pink hair girl turns to run towards the outer wall first. Shihai blinks, what?! She's going there towards the commotion?! Isn't that kind of dangerous?! We are all just Genins here. "Wait! At least bring back up!" Shihai says urgently and on instinct she chased after the pink hair girl, running a few paces behind her, worrying about the girl's safety, but Shihai's voice was quiet due to being surprise by what seems like an attack within the village, and that there were so many other noises around them, Shihai doesn't think that the girl actually heard her.

At first it was alright, but then, as the civilians are coming out to the street in a chaotic effort to vacate the area, forcing Shihai to slow down and circle around, switching route to the rooftop instead, otherwise she might bump into people. She got a few blank shots of warning from the Anbu far ahead instead. Losing sight of the pink hair girl at that time.

"......." Shihai ignores the Anbu and in favour of searching the street below for the pink hair girl, which at least in theory should have been easy, since she had pink hair! As she was scanning the area below she came to a shocking conclusion...where is the other black hair girl?! She didn't follow?....Well, yeah, that's smart, wait in the safe area and maybe get more help is a lot better than charging in towards an unknown situation as a Genin, but I don't have that option, I need to find her before it was too late, this is way too dangerous for a newbie to handle alone, I have to back her up.

All of what was going on down the street was severally interfering with her field of vision, and it was really hard to keep track of what was what, and it took her a while but she finally picked up on a flash of pink. Shihai nods and dropped down, running along the walls and speed across, she finally reached within ear shot of the pink hair girl and finds that she was not alone.

There was someone else there with hair, it was a tall man with short white hair. Shihai blinks in surprise. "Ri...Rippa...? Right?" At least she thinks that was who it was, having only briefly met the older Ninja once before in a park, she recalled that this was someone much higher leveled then they are...wait a minute....

Phantom Ninja....white hair....looking for student....?
Shihai narrowed her eyes at him, could this be who the rumors was circling about? She just need to catch him right? Does spotting him count? "So are you looking to form a squad? If so I volunteer!...wait..."

Wait!! Now is not the time for that, sure, with a higher level Ninja on the field now and supposingly that means safety, however, I still don't think we should be here at the moment, there's so many stuff going on around here, are we interfering with the battle? "Sorry, but I think we should evacuate this area..."

But before she could even finished her sentence (interrupted again), a masked Ninja in Anbu uniform dropped down near her.

The Anbu one knee kneel to the ground and says in a solemn voice. "My apologies Captain Chi, but I have to ask you and your companies to evacuate this area, we are about to perform a B-16 swipe to contain the situation, and my squad leader has asked that anyone not part of the Jutsu forming team to leave the area immediately, before we start. I do apologies for my rudeness."

.oO(OOC: Alright, since it's been two days I guess I too will skip Umeko. Apologize for the delay, I've been busy working 9+ hour shifts the past few days so I've had little time to be on the computer and write.)

Aisling''s attention had been so focused on Rippa, on seeing if she could offer any sort of aide or assistance, that she nearly jumped in a startled manner when she realized that one of the female's from before had followed her. It made sense though: Genin ran toward danger even if some of them wanted to be running away from it. Aisling wouldn't - run away that is - because it was a promise she had made to herself. Rippa was responding, so she held off on focusing on anyone else but him for the moment: he didn't need help, nor for her to fetch her cousin Amaya - that there was no point in taking her away from her slumber or whoever she might be helping at that moment. He inquired as to her name and then took the moment to introduce himself properly as Captain Chi Rippa. Aisling, choosing to be as respectful as she could - something that was more ingrained in her, rather than something that had to be thought about - she bowed politely to Rippa before straightening up. "My name is Aisling, I'm a member of the Nara clan. I have heard her mention your name from time to time; she rather likes telling me stories about her job as I wish to one day follow in her footsteps and become a medic myself."

It was then, with proper introductions done, that she would notice something rather strange occuring: the blood which had been on Rippa seemed to be... disappearing? Or perhaps being absorbed? Never in her life had she saw or heard of something like that occurring, but she forced herself to look away, not wanting to seem rude or disrespectful.

Her golden colored gaze would shift over toward the female who had followed her, curiosity showing in her gaze at both what she had saw the blood doing and why the other female was there. Who was she, and why had she followed Aisling here? Aisling picked up no sort of threat from her stature or voice, so she highly doubted this female had anything to do with those who were injured. In fact, as Aisling listened she seemed to inquire about joining Rippa's squad, though she seemed to quickly realize that this was not exactly the time or place for such an inquiry. Either way, Aisling eyes grew wide in shock at the question, and she glanced at Rippa wondering what sort of reaction he would have to such a question at such a time as this. Would he grant her such a request? Was he even taking students to begin with? So many unknown questions, but perhaps her answers would reveal themselves fairly soon.

Either way, for the moment Aisling became silent and even bit her bottom lip lightly. She didn't want to interrupt whatever dialog the pair were about to have, as such a thing would have been considered rude to most. So, instead she would simply wait in silence until it was once again her turn to speak - or at least until someone spoke to her again.

Rippa paused in his thoughts as he glanced passed Aisling towards some commotion. She held some interest for him but it appeared his alarm bell had set off some panic. It was just to mobilize the sword saints to get who they could save safely inside. It had worked to summon him but some politician nearby apparently got freaked out by it. Waking up and thinking the swords saints compound was under attack might be a little alarming but there was no signs of battle and they were doing a fine job at keeping the villages enemies at bay for the time being. It was a shame that such cowardly individuals held control over shinobi but they would take their orders and preform as they were paid to do. Still it was a bother that they would shove around their weight for fear with no filter or reason. Likely they were shoving valuables into a cart as they spoke. Poor ass hat was likely going to try and make a break for the border and actually run into some bandits. He would have to follow him and attend to making sure that didn't happen. For now though he would excuse himself from the conversation and....

His gaze was directed to a second girl approaching as Aisling finished speaking. Her inspiration to become a medic was understandable. Amaya Uchiha was a someone that people could aspire to. Still he wasn't entirely sure if he would be much help as he was more of a fighter than a med nin. He respected the shit out of them but it was hardly something he could limit himself to. Working in a hospital day in and day out and being away from the battle field just seemed like it would cause him stress beyond what he currently felt. He needed to be a part of something making a difference. Amaya was intending to do so as well but for now Rippa needed to be a part of the action. Still as the girl came to a full stop in front of him he rose an eyebrow as she spoke. She knew of him and could clearly see the commotion going on but still she chose now to speak of such things? Energetic and driven but her taste and timing were terrible. She would make a decent ninja if she learned to read a situation before it evolved around her. Still Rippa would reply to them both after the other shinobi spoke to him.

"I have little time for a squad. Please pick your moments better. For now I must excuse myself as someone has obviously panicked. Aisling, it was a pleasure but I must be off. Do come back and visit when there are less alarms going off. And give Dr. Amaya my good wishes please. If you will excuse me for now."

With that Rippa turned and was gone in a single step from vision. He was a fast as his title suggested. Already he was in his barracks and grabbing his twin blades and ammo. His ears twitched as a cart loudly went tearing passed the compound and he sighed impatiently. Someone was making a break for it after all as he had predicted. Securing their own assets by the sound of the weight of that cart. He strapped on his weapons and turned to leap out of the compound and follow via the roof tops. A wealthy man drawing so much attention to himself without a guard was foolish but he likely assumed they would stay behind and die defending him. At least rippa would see him to the border or his safe house safely.
