Keiko
D-rank
A small bell rang softly as a petite figure pushed her way into the building, pupils dilating in order to adjust to the dimly lit restaurant, which was a stark contrast from the brightness of the outdoors. The first note that the woman made was that the establishment did indeed live up to its reputation of being fine dining. The interior was tastefully designed to appeal to the eye, and already, the fragrant scent of various spices lured new customers in by the nose. Keiko had heard of this restaurant since day one of being in Sunagakure. Most of the reviews raved about the flavours and appeal of the place, marking it as one of the best places for a fancy date. Perhaps it was the fact that she liked to reject anything that was too overly hyped that she had yet to give the restaurant a try. Or perhaps it was because she had no one to go with.
Regardless of her original setbacks, she now found herself at the very doorstep of Dragon's Tongue, ready to give it a try herself. "Welcome to Dragon's Tongue!" She was greeted with a lot of - too much, really - enthusiasm right at the door by a woman not much older than herself, with light brown hair and bright green eyes that beamed at the newest customer. "Table for... err, one?" Her bright tone faltered as her eyes moved to look behind Keiko, seeking further company. It was difficult to discern whether the server was feeling embarrassed because she had assumed there would be more than one person, or if she was silently judging that very fact. Either way, she would be met with a steely gaze that accompanied a nod from Keiko. Meekly, she grabbed a menu set and led the magenta-haired kunoichi to a small table with two seats. Slipping into the comfortable chair, Keiko took a while to look around. It was relatively quiet at this hour, which was surprising, considering the fact that it was now about 5 in the afternoon.
Eventually returning her attention to the menu in front of her, Keiko scanned the drink selection, deciding that she should first cool herself down before trying out their signature spicy curries. To be honest, she wasn't a fan of spicy foods - her spice tolerance was nothing to be proud of. But she could appreciate the flavours, and that was what she was here for. Eventually settling on an iced tea, she began idly flipping through the menu. So many choices. None that she was familiar with. Letting out a sigh, she ran her finger along the menu, scanning the ingredients of each dish in disinterest.
