Clan History:
Art is what they live for, their body is a canvas.
Tattoos are old rituals, as old as anyone can remember. Tattoos have always been there, so it is logical that a clan made it their specialty. It began way back when it was meant to give spirit to the ones who need it. The children got marked by their name. The warriors got many for a victory. It had become a usual sight among the people of the Iresumi. Not only that, they believed that mixing the blood and ink together it would give them more fortune during bad times. It was said to have special power when one had been tattooed with that ink, it made them stronger. Yet this was nothing more than a myth. The special mixed ink did not work that way. It did have his effects later on. The blood made it possible to feel connected to the tattoo quite literally. After a while it had an effect no one would think of. The tattoos started coming to life. There was more to it. Yurin Iresumi saw this as a chance to take tests and experiment. He came to the conclusion that with the blood, the tattoos could come to life on demand by the owner. They called it ‘Ikite iru inku’ Living ink. Since the ink mixed with the blood had a chemical reaction that could change bits in one’s DNA soon offspring were born with the trait of Ikite iru inku. Meaning, they had a natural talent for summoning. Even better, they were able to control the tattoos on their bodies better than the other generations. From there it started, ever since then every Irusumi is born with the living ink.
It is natural for them to use this kekkei genkai as a way in battle. Without the usage of scrolls or handsigns, they could summon something from their own body. Something they always had with them. Something that was part of them. It was a surprise to their opponents, but soon their secrets weren’t so secret anymore. The word of this ability went fast and far.
To this day there have been people that think the Iresumi are masochists for the summoning hurts the skin. It feels as if the tattoo gets ripped out every time they summon it. However, they just endure the pain and live through it. They accepted the drawbacks of their abilities and thought it was a fair price to pay for such power.
To this day the Iresumi are also know for their travels. A clan that can’t keep still and the idea of freedom is quite important to them.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
Ikite iru inku – the ability to use the tattoos on one’s body. Only the tattoos that are made with the special Iresumi mixure.
When a tattoo is summoned it does not require hand signs or scrolls.
The artwork of the tattoo disappears when it is in use, but a trail of light cuts is left behind on the skin.
When the tattoo gets summoned it feels like getting the tattoo all over again, but the whole frame hurts at once like the ink got ripped out of the skin. Due to the wounds they are very used to pain and they can easily bite away pain.
The summon rules also apply to the tattoo summons. To get a new tattoo you have to fill in the same form as normal summons.

Description: The summoner summons all their tattoos out at once. This means all the tattoos will have light cuts and there is a high chance on bleeding from them because it is such a large amount of summons at once. This is meant as last resort, for the pain and bleeding is quite unbearable while fighting full on. After this the user faints and needs to be cured.
