Yuki is Kenta's first and 'true' partner, in the sense that she is the dog that he first bonded with as a child. She is not fully of the Inuzuka dog packs, being a member of the wolf-dog packs that his father's clan raises in the plains far out in the Land of Grass. She is a rather large specimen for her species, as her mixed heritage means that she isn't fully wolf, nor fully of the specific breed of wolf-dog the Ookamizuka raise. Her mother was impregnated by a passing stray wolf of another subspecies, a welp of the Land of Grass' native massive forest wolf breeds, which has given Yuki a rather large body as well, standing roughly 40in (1.01m) at the shoulder. She weighs 115 lbs (52.16kg) Her fur is a silver-white color, with very thin patches of grey at her tips, paws, and in streaks through her fur. Her eyes are a golden-red that turned to amber in the right light. She normally wears a thin braided leather band around her neck in lieu of a traditional collar, on which the required tags and identification markers hang. Given her half-wolf heritage, Yuki's claws and jaw structure are more akin to those of her wilder cousins than a domestic dog; with long, sturdy claws that are easily able to dig into flesh and leave behind 3in deep gashes and crack smaller bones (digits and other bones of hands and feet, thin skeletal bones such as the floating ribs) and a mouth that is far rougher and solid than that of even other dog breeds tailor bred to be attack oriented. Her canines are large and slightly oversized even for larger proportions, and the muscles of her jaw are extremely strong; as such she is able to bite with extreme force, and can easily break most bones of the body without much effort. Her teeth leave puncture wounds that are 2in deep, and she can crush all but the toughest bones with little to no effort.
Personality: Yuki is a rather... intense beast; she has explosive emotions and even more explosive temper most of the time. She is perfectly loyal to Kenta, and would do anything and everything he told her to do; so long as the commands don't place him in direct or indirect danger, as she has dedicated her life to protecting him after the incident when they where children. She would rather die herself than be separated from him once more in that manner, and she fights tooth and nail to keep him safe specifically so that they would never have to go through that experience again. Otherwise, she is a fairly typical canine, with canine wants and needs and likes and all that jazz. Her mate is Aki, which makes working with Kenta and Aki an easy task, as they are her favorite people in the world; outside of Michi and the kids.

A massive beast, Aki is the child of of the Inuzuka packs in bloodline and training, however you would never believe this due to his massive size and strange coloration. A solid dusty red color more akin to that of the red wolf than anything seen in dog breeds; Aki stands nearly 60 inches (1.52m) tall at the shoulder, and weights nearly 300lbs (136.07kg). His fur is a fairly even dusty red, however there are darker patches across his body, and the tips of his ears and paws are a dark red-black color. His  eyes are the typical golden of the current generations of Inuzuka ninken.  Aki's particular breed line gives him advantages over many of the more common mutts most Inuzuka use in battle; he is a (rather rare for the clan) 'pure-breed' who's lineage is new to the Inuzuka dogs, a product of trading dogs with a pack of the clan that lives far in the north of the world. His body structure reflects this, as he has overall smaller claws which are meant to grip the dirt and give him traction in snow and mud more so than to attack with. They are still able to easily deal 2in deep gashes and break smaller bones (digits and other bones of the hands and feet, smaller skeletal bones such as the floating ribs, etc) on contact. His mouth is large, but his fangs are smaller, as his particular breed is tailored for running and therefore their mouths are made to be open and clear; however even with this evolutionary quirk, he can bite and crush with the best of them, and his teeth leave 2in deep puncture wounds as well as being able to crush even the strongest of bones with ease.
Personality: A lackadaisical beast, Aki is lazy and easily bored and rarely looks farther than his next meal, really. That isn't to say he isn't a hard worker, the massive brute can get massive amounts of work done in a tiny amount of time, with the right motivation. He is supremely dedicated to his family, however, and while he is technically Michizuka's partner, he works as effectively with Kenta as if he was primarily bonded to him. Given he is mated with Yuki, it it easy for the three of them to work together effectively, as they are constantly working and spending time together.
