Ah, this was going to be.... interesting, to say the least. He wasn't exactly sure how he felt about this whole situation; he was having to come to terms with his last living close relative outside of his kids being gone, and finding out that Amaya had... mostly moved on. She'd found herself a new companion anyway; whether or not the relationship would last long term or not wasn't even part of the conversation yet, it was all too new and all that jazz. He didn't blame her for moving on, if anything he was happy that she even could; it was just weird. He kept expecting to see Ashi appear at anytime and start lounging over the Uchiha, or vice versa; but that was never going to happen, and that made him sad. Still, he couldn't sit and stew over the loss forever; he had to move on himself, and it was... well, it was a given that he'd want to meet the man that might be the next member of his little pack. Amaya was as good as his sister, so he had a vested interest in making sure that he liked anyone that wanted to be with her. It wasn't like he hadn't always stalked the friends of his family to a small degree; although thankfully none of them were the most social, they prefered small families and smaller social circles.
From what Amaya had told him, and his own research gave him; the guy was decent enough. Nothing super special, but then again neither was he for the longest time. He didn't know much about the clan, something about being habitual drunkards due to their clan's chakra? They sold good booze, that much he knew; so that was already a point in favor for him... what was his name... Wukong? Yeah, something like that. Seemed like a good enough kid, and he could see them getting along after a while. Most people freaked the frick out when they met him, he was... painfully, famous as he'd been a Kage, the youngest in generations there for a while; possibly even still; so there was a weird sense of disconnect between him and other people often enough. Maybe the kid wouldn't care and they'd be instant friends. Or hate each other. Whatever happened, happened; he wasn't going to run the kid off unless he was given a good reason, and he was really kinda hoping he wouldn't have a reason to. He wanted to like the kid, for Amaya's sake if nothing else.
So with all of that in mind, he'd had Amaya pass a little note along to the younger male; no one outside of the family knew that Kenta was alive, let alone back in the village, and he was going to keep it that way for a bit longer if he could help it. There was plenty of deep woods that no one allowed into; clan lands and dangerous places that no one went too, and they'd be perfect for a little... meeting. No one to bother them, plenty of room to work. He wanted to test the younger some; see how he handled himself and all that. You had to be strong to survive in this family, better to be sure now, before a problem happened later.
"Come to the clearing in the Inuzuka's woods with the waterfall that always casts the rainbow. Amaya can tell you how to get there.

Simple. Very simple. An easy spot to get to; a large meadow that was still covered by the canopy of the old forest, with a small waterfall welling from a cold spring in the rocks; it was situated just right to have a permanent rainbow at the base, as the quartz rocks were a strange type that glowed from within and always casted a strong, but still soft in a way, light that allowed the phenomena of the rainbow to exist even in the dark shadows of the forest floor. It was a good place to meet without being bothered, and gave enough space for a spar and the like. Quiet. Out of the way.
This was going to be fun.
He was waiting already, hidden in the small pond at the base of the waterfall; he was using his special version of Hiding in Water that allowed him to become one with the water so that he couldn't be detected or bothered, but it didn't stop him from know what was going on around him. Useful, extremely so. Now to wait.
