1 Stopping the Silver Saboteur [Mission C-Rank] Fri Nov 09, 2012 7:29 pm
Akimitsu Nekonote
D-rank
Akimitsu loved his dad. He really did. The way his dad would sign Aki up for random missions? Not... so much. Aki sighed as he slipped on a pair of jeans. He was looking forward to reading a little bit. Maybe a normal story, or new Yo-Yo tricks, or even about the moon. He didn't think he'd have time for that though. Not with this mission. He slipped a blue T-shirt over his body followed by his button up. He never buttoned it though. If there was a bright side to this, it was a C-rank mission. From what his dad had also said it was the max amount of money a C-rank could get you. That suited Aki just fine. He needed Ryo to get a sword. Or two. Or however many he wanted. He had so many big things to train in the up coming months of his life. If he wanted to. And was awake for it. He grabbed his Yo-Yo and took one last glance at the mission paper. Someone named Takashi wanted help catching a (Wasn't this rather clever) Silver Saboteur. Something about weapons not being strong and other not important stuff. His father had read it to him what he was supposed to do. Find the ruined area, catch the guy in the act, and bring him to the man. Aki had waited till close to night time to head out. No one would ruin something in the middle of day would they? Not likely. With that thought Aki headed out of his room and into the town.
Aki came to the building around the time the sun was setting. He saw a man waiting in front of the building. From common sense, it was Takashi. He walked up to the man, making sure his head band showed that he was a ninja. The man looked taken back that a 14 year old was a ninja. "Kid, you know stealing is wrong right?" He said, obviously not thinking Akimitsu was a ninja. The doubt was removed though when Aki started doing some hand signs. The man had stopped him quickly frantically saying that Aki was a ninja. He wouldn't have hurt the man, just show him a harmless jutsu. Whatever got the point across though. The man explained everything to Aki. He almost said everything on the paper word for word. During the talk, Aki had to take out his Yo-Yo. Having heard this already, he would have fallen asleep. Soon the man was done explaining. [color=darkred=]"So. Find the guy, find where and what part he has ruined, and bring the man back to you. Simple enough." Aki soon parted from the man and started to look around the building for anything suspicious.
It wasn't long after looking that he saw a figure dash across a window from inside. Aki quickly looked around, and saw a window slightly ajar. There seemed no way up until he looked at the building with a little more detail. He could see grooves and cracks with a few bricks sticking out. Putting two and two together, he found that the man had climbed up using the buildings poor outside state to his advantage. Akimitsu gave a bit of credit to the man. Being able to do this and not even being trained. As far as he knew anyway. Akimitsu had been trained, so getting into the building was no trouble at all. He landed in side the building and got hit with the smell of metal. Only natural. This was where they had silver ready to be made into weapons. Still, he wasn't ready for the potency of it at all. He ignored it the best he could though. He started to walk around. Every step was carefully taken so he didn't make any noise on the concrete floor. Nothing to tell the Saboteur he was there. He walked from room to room and notice much of it was the same in each room. Parts here and there, a huge tub of silver, some brown and black mixed in with some silver... Wait. Akimitsu took a closer look at the tub. Silver, and some brown in it. He perked up his senses suddenly. This was the place, and from the looks of his surroundings, the Saboteur would be back. Why wait for the man to come to him though? It would be so much more fun to chase then to wait. This was a special case in which he could enjoy that. He closed his eyes for a moment, and opened them once more. The only thing different? His eyes were now like a cats eyes. He could sense any chakra he wanted, though couldn't place who was what. Yet. Higher ranks could do so much more. Thankfully he wouldn't need to be a high rank for this. Sure there was a few chakra signatures from rodents and bugs, but only one that Aki could clearly see as a human. Ping His mind went. He now was tracking the man. He let his upper body go limp for a moment and the tracking ability moved him towards the direction of the man. The hunt was on.
Much to Aki's displeasure, the hunt didn't last long. Soon he was sitting in a concealed area above the view of the Saboteur. From what Aki could see the mans hands where covered in silver and blotches of brown. The evidence was already there. Now to go about taking the man in. One swift jump and he landed right behind the man, kunai aimed at his neck. "What do we have here?" Aki said slowly, almost drawing out the moment in a sense. "You wouldn't happen to be messing with the silver now would you? What is there to possibly gain from that?" He could see the man almost shaking. Truth be told, it made Aki smile a bit. The man slowly turned his head, but not to look at Aki like Akimitsu thought. The man brought his other foot up and caught Aki off guard. Akimitsu really didn't think the man would fight back. He blocked the kick and went for a punch of his own to the mans gut. The man blocked his punch though. It was obvious that this man had some kind of training. Martial arts maybe? Aki didn't have time to think because a punch to the side interrupted the thought. After that came a knife that sliced across his cheek. The man then started to run. Aki stood still, frozen in place. Mostly of shock. He slowly touched the bleeding wound and looked at his bloody figure tips. Something then clicked in Akimitsu. More then likely it was his assassin instinct. Still having his Buyougan active, he quickly found the man. The man tried to throw another punch, but since Aki was prepared, he blocked it and pushed himself off the man. Some quick hand signs followed up and him shouting, " Kanashibari no Jutsu!" He could see the man start to struggle, then ceasing to move. Sure, he could hear the mans groan, but the man couldn't move at all. Aki then smiled a rather... evil smile and went up to the man. From his eyes Akimitsu could see the saboteur's scared expression, and the regret he must have had. Aki relished every second. "So you like to mix other things in with the silver do you?" He held his kunai up and started to twirl it. "Then perhaps, some of your blood will ruin it just like you want." Akimitsu made a quick slash on the mans hand, and blood started to slowly drip out of it. Sadly, Akimitsu knew he couldn't do more to hurt the man. He had to get his Ryo after all. He went behind the man and grabbed the back of his shirt. He started to drag the man across the ground, and talked to him while doing it. "Next time you attack someone, be ready for the results. Next time, I might not be so forgiving." The rather evil smile then left Aki's face, and it came back to his normal, half tired look.
He walked out of the building, and Takashi was waiting for him. Aki set the man on the ground, and helped Takashi tie up the foes hands. Quick words were exchanged about his cut on his face, and the cut on the mans arm. Takashi gave the pay to Akimitsu after a job well done. Akimitsu bowed in respect and started his walk home. He would have loved to give the man just a few more slashes, but knew that wouldn't look well. Besides, Akimitsu had a few more things to worry about. Who knows what was on that mans knife. He didn't want an infection, that was for sure. As Aki walked, he started to feel rather dizzy. He had forgotten he had his Dojutsu active, and finally shut it off. He figured he had wasted quite a bit of chakra. Some wound cleaning and rest was in order. With that, Aki walked into his clan building.
