It's about that time..
Daisuke sat with his back against the wall, and his eyes slowly looked over his old, abandoned dojo. The roof was now filled with holes and there was evidence that the forest was starting to take back the building. Seeing his once magnificent dojo in this state filled Daisuke with a overwhelming sense of grief. His mind quickly went back to ten years before, with the site of fellow Akako members practicing in the dojo. The sound of kids running around outside, and the sound of two swords greeting each other. That time was no more, never since Daisuke made his choice to abandon his life as a shinobi of Kumogakure. Daisuke wouldn't ever see this place again. Because it was about that time. Time to leave.
Good bye..
Daisuke now stood outside, his only luggage being the rucksack thrown over his shoulder that held the 6 swords that weren't on his hip. He still wore the same old, black, dragon patterned kimono that he wore for the last year or so. On top of his greasy black hair sat a kasa that had it's fair share of holes in it. While facing the old dojo, Daisuke lit a match and quickly brought it the tobacco stuffed pipe that waited in his mouth. As he took puffs from the burning tobacco leafs, he gave the forgotten dojo one last look down before turning and walking away. Daisuke initially planned on having a valiant return to Kaminari no Kuni, the country he last saw when he destroyed the last of the Carlozo clan. He wanted to enter Kumogakure and greet his old friends, the clan he left behind, and possibly even the new Raikage. He wanted to show them how much he changed throughout the ten years that he's lived in isolation. However, none of that happened. Once Daisuke arrived, he was to scared to even attempt to enter the village or even approach the gates. He thought he was ready to everything he wanted to, but he was too much of a coward. All that he could manage to do is enter the Akako Dojo, and even that was greeted with hostility. Even then, he planned on getting back into shape after years of wandering and doing nothing. That didn't happen either, all he did was laze around and mope.
It's starting to boring..
To be entirely honest, this whole wandering around thing started to get boring. The life style you have to live to fight the constant fear of getting arrested or even killed just for being seen. Ten years have past since Daisuke started to living that life. Something started to change. Daisuke noticed that people didn't have much of a reaction when they saw him. Was it possible that they were actually starting to forget? Ten years is a long time, and Daisuke only just now started noticing this. People saw him more as a wandering samurai rather than a wanted murderer. Daisuke missed the shinobi life style. He missed being welcome in most villages. Could it actually be the time where he could settle back down somewhere? The main question is where would that be? The village hidden in the sand immediately came to his head. The village that treated him with hospitality even when they didn't need too. He's been there many times before, and he quickly decided that was place he needed to go. Although, Sunagakure was quite a distance away from Kumogakure, so Daisuke would have to stop somewhere on the way. The only only major village between him and Sunagakure would be Konohagakure, so he guessed he'd stop there. He shook himself out of his thoughts and took puffs from his pipe as he focused on his new adventure.
Konohagakure..
Several days of walking and hitching rides later, Daisuke stood at the great Konohagakure Gates. He's been here many time before during his ten years of wandering, but this visit would be different. During this visit, Daisuke will actually participate in social interaction. The fact that it's been ten years made him finally realize that he can stop blowing people off. Although, the fact still stood that Daisuke was a wanted fugitive, so he would still need to be careful. However, that thought sat far back in Daisuke's head. He didn't want to worry about stuff like that anymore. He wanted to talk to people. Daisuke started walking into the village, only thinking about what awaited him inside.
