Today, as Tadashi wore a military green jacket along with his everyday attire of a loose white shirt and black pants. He stood staring up at the monstrosity that was the administration building from a few feet away, mentally preparing for his meeting with the Tsuchikage that was scheduled to start in just a few minutes. It wasn't often Tadashi scheduled meetings like this. It was rare for Tadashi to interact with anyone at all, actually. Ever since his days in the academy, his social life had been ruined beyond repair. Only knowing the fists and feet of your fellow classmates for years doesn't do anything good to a person. This caused him to practically live in solitude, wandering the village as a ghost. He's done nothing since he became a Genin, he's practically the same as he was at his graduation. He was aware that he was a pathetic excuse for a shinobi, his only notable characteristic being his intelligence. It was about time that he joined a squad of some sort and started being like most genin with the quest of becoming stronger. That was what this meeting was to be about, as today was the day he would become something.
He quickly walked towards the administration building and through the door. Now he just had to go up to the receptionist's desk and tell them why he's there. He reviewed what he had to say multiple times, he couldn't possibly mess that up, could he? The receptionist at the front desk greeted him and asked who he was, and he quickly muttered his lines. "Uh, hey, my names Guanyin Tadashi? I think my meeting with the, er, Tsuchikage.. is supposed to start.. soon." Damn it. He somehow managed to let out his words as an unintelligible whisper. Either way, the receptionist nodded and sent him to the stairs that led to the Tsuchikage's office. As an attempt to boost his confidence, Tadashi took a deep breath before starting his climb up the stairs. Upon reaching the top, all that was left in between him and the Tsuchikage was a single door. He lifted his hand to knock, his hand freezing right before it made contact. If he ever wanted to go back to his miserable life, now was the time to decide. Did he want to go back to living as a nobody while calling himself a genin? No. Did he want to continue being weak and frail while everyone else around him were becoming stronger? No. He didn't want to do any of that. Knowing this, he lightly knocked on the door, making the first step on his path to greatness.
