This defensive measure was meant to lead into his next attack, but he watched as the smoke moved which meant the smaller puppet that attacked him was moving back, and he did not see any other movements in the smoke as his goggles proved useful in keeping his eyes from being affected. The sudden pull back meant his opponent did not have a clear sight of him and that shot down the option of his opponent having a sensory technique. If his opponent did have a sensory he would have dived his puppets into the hole and fallen for his trap, however his opponent was helping clear the scenarios he needed for his winning vision. The vision of him standing proud as the strongest genin that year, which people might think is nothing but achievements are achievements and he mainly was doing it for himself rather then Sakumi since he already avenged her in defeating Fukai. It was now time to defeat the puppet master Kikisu, but his opponent would not be that simple in the scheme of things.
He took a deep breath as a small aura of chakra would be focused through his right bracelet in order to give him a better vision of the battle field, at least within a short distance. There was a crash and the hole began to shake as his plan to attack would once again be interrupted by another attack as
he did not get any queues from his aura he at the very least knew it was not a puppet and was clearly not ninjutsu either as the earth it seems crashed into the one end of the hole as the smoke was probably being a hindrance to his opponent. It dislodged his sword from its location as he cought it while the slab of earth it seams fell inside the hole scattering somewhat as he used his Kusarigama as a grappling hook to pull him up as the dust of the dirt and raw earth rose up masking his presence as the smoke also began to give way. It did not fill up the hole but it did disrupt his train of thought as it was a clear sign his opponent would not give him much time to make a plan.
He heard a voice shout out as the dust then settled revealing him unscathed as he stood where the attack went as if to say he had a defence for that
. He was very dirty right now and he had used his forehead protector to cover his mouth a bit. It slid back down to his neck as the two puppets and his opponent were in front of him but the pit was still in the way and the two puppets sat on the edge.
The hole itself would not be too clearly visible so if his opponent rushed the puppet from behind it would possible delay itself against the ditch that was now behind him.
He noticed the missing puppet and only gave a light glance seeing the other puppet had changed positions as he finally knew what he had to do, his opponent gave him some valuable information as he finally realised that his opponent was much like him. His strength was never in his techniques, but in the mastery of his weapons. In this case it was the use of puppets versus his mastery of weapons.
However at a time like this you could not afford to have any weaknesses as he was expecting his opponent to at the very least give him a moment so that he could make use of a less direct plan. It was so clear now that trying to pass the puppets would just waste time as he was ready to begin his attack with the puppets all a good distance from him. However something deep down inside told him he should not give up too soon as his wakizashi lay hidden inside the hole behind him as if hanging by a thread. The puppet behind him was not a bad idea and had he not activated his combat sensory he would not even notice it, what was more interesting was the fact that his opponent could use all three puppets to begin with.
He was sweating some what as his muscles had finally received a good warm up, his previous opponents while strong would give up before getting into the mood to fight. Right now even his opponent might feel fatigue, but the fatigue from a few exchanges and that of an intense battle were far different from this. Had it been one puppet focused he might have had more trouble but in terms of weaponry he just had more available so a one on one fight did not favour his opponent or the puppets.
It was also clear now that either the large puppet was really strong able to toss a huge slab of earth at him, or his opponent has some form of taijutsu or even fuuinjutsu itself. He thought that maybe his opponent only had the basic sealing technique that all shinobi knew so he had one more thing to think about. If his opponent knew taijutsu then he would have to go all in on a close encounter, however that was no longer possible since if his opponent had that option he would have been attacking with the puppets not using them to wear him down.
He held confidence in his original strategy and it would be up to his opponent to take action as he knew that if he could not pass the puppets, he would break them. When a wall stands before you, go around it. If the wall never ends, jump and rise above it. If the wall reaches into the heavens then there is only one option left. Break the walls down or rise above the heavens themselves.
The kusarigama was still rooted into the earth as well it seems as he was using a completely different stance from before. He was finally ready to go into battle mode so his opponent would have to find an opening before it was too late as the boy had his hands together in the form of a tiger seal ready to launch his next attack.

Canon/Custom: Custom

Type: Supplementary
Element: None
Range: Item
Specialty: Bukijutsu
Duration: Maintainable (pay 5 chakra every other post)
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: The user channels minimal chakra to an item releasing a faint aura that helps detect any movement from within a three meter radius of the item as the aura is felt by the user with disruptions in the chakra's area indicating the location through the displacement of chakra. The way in which this technique works is that when a dense mass of chakra, in particular a person or shinobi enters the chakra in their body displaces the chakra in this area which then presses against the user who through intensive training is able to determine the weight, general size and the location of the opponent.
If the opponent were to enter with just their arm the displacement will indicate it with its initial movement towards the user being over a smaller area while a full body attack would displace over a large area and would be felt nearly over the entire body.
Due to the low range of the technique it is frowned upon and also ridiculed for not being useful other than for extreme close range confrontations.
OOC: Let it crumble since its not quite going to become completely sand from crashing not to mention it would signal for me to jump and get out. Activated close combat sensory in order to deal with all the puppets without having to look at them all the time. Oh and I was going to attack this turn but that earth just disrupts my character and became a problem since I had to make sure to get out of the hole first instead of me being able to just jump out when I want to. Hope you enjoying this fight as much as I am. Oh and yes I could have just said no need for sensory but that would be wrong, the reason for it was set in stone and I would have used close combat sensory for the second fight too if given the chance
