Nozomi had to admit. She was incredibly excited to train under her old sensei again. Even though she was a Special Jounin now, and no longer required a sensei, Nozomi still had much to learn. And what she really wanted to learn was Bukijutsu. As a Himitsu, her taijutsu skills were superb. However, she tended to fight using her tanto's and other items, so learning the chakra flow of Bukijutsu would be more of a boon to her, as it would allow her to create more specialized combat jutsu. And what better person could Nozomi think of to teach her that, than Gin Kuroka, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, her former Sensei, and what Nozomi thought to be a close friend and confidant. Besides which she was Nozomi's girlfriend's sensei's girlfriend.

Beyond that though, was the excitement of seeing Gin. She hadn't actually seen Gin all that much lately, having had her own squad to train up during the Chuunin Exams, although it wasn't all that long of a training season for her, considering it was shortly before the Chuunin exams, and the rank ups had been fast achieved.

Nozomi had arrived to the training grounds early, ecstatic that Gin had agreed to train her. Donning her usual Kirigakure shinobi uniform, and her Flak Jacket, the one that she'd commissioned after making Special Jounin. It was of a higher quality than the one that Gin had given her upon making Chuunin. For the best too, considering her missions would be more deadly now, and protection was a must when going into those sort of situations. Also with her were her three tanto's, the matched set that Gin had bought half of, and the one she'd received from that strange shinobi after having killed him in defense of herself. His was superior to her set, but she couldn't find it in herself to replace the matched set she had just yet. The matched set were strapped to the small of her back in horizontal fashion, so she could easily pull them out of their sheathes without any problem, while the other blade was fashioned just behind her left shoulder, for easy access by her right hand. She also had on her headband, signifying her a Kunoichi of Kirigakure, if the flak jacket hadn't given that away already. Most of the people that would see her already knew her affiliations, but she was on extended leave to stay in Kumo for a while.

It made sense for Nozomi to be using her tanto's to learn Bukijutsu. After all, she didn't have any other weapons that she was skilled in, besides the basic projectile ones. But learning could be applied to multiple weapons if she learned on the tanto's. After all, that would open up very little change for a wakizashi, a katana, an odachi, or a nodachi. It wouldn't be too hard to transfer styles to a longer range, but up close and personal was always more comfortable, given her taijutsu background.

Waiting eagerly with a silly grin on her face, Nozomi passed her time by practicing her taijutsu forms and striking at an invisible opponent, keeping her form well used and not rusty.
