"Turn around and only an aftermage remains withal..."
The plan was futile. More footsteps were being heard from the stairs. Mujin had to have an escape plan. This was his final departure. Time to say goodbye to Iwagakure. He cocked back his right arm and swung it forward, releasing a powerful haymaker with his Earth Release: Earth Knuckles being activated. The glass was shattered as the alarm went off in the Tsuchikage room. That alarm meant two things: Someone was breaking in, or someone was leaving the Tsuchikage room in a disturbing manner. He leaped from the window and grabbed the edge of the building where he made his way back to the roof. Looking at the moon, his Four Legs Technique took to it's effect for faster retreat.

The sound of landing in light footsteps was heard on the rooftops of the Land of Rock. The wait was already long enough. A shadow moved over the rooftops swiftly, making the move more quicker using his Four Legs Technique. The night was getting to its middle age as he headed to his direction, the Village Gates of Iwagakure. Its footsteps were heard, but not loud enough for the citizens to hear/ignore from their nightly routines. He eyed the crowds from the corner of his eyes, not paying much attention to them, wanting to make sure he leaves this village without being heard from anyone at that matter. Leaving for his good will of trying to kill the Tsuchikage, it was acceptional to leave at night time, meaning he can leave without sudden distraction from everyone else in the village. He wanted his departure to be quick, so no last visits were being made. He really did not have an initial plan to where he was going after he left the village, but knowing his actions of committing murder to his two best friends and trying to assassinate the Kage, he found a good place to start his devastation; Konohagakure. The center piece to all of other villages and home to the Dynamic Duo. It was only going to be for a short visit, then leaving to go to Sunagakure for a quick stay.
The great village gates got into his sights, drawing closer with each step that he took, slowly picking up the pace unconsciously. As soon as he reached the gates, he focused his chakra into his feet and ran up the gates as quickly as he could, making a big leap over the top and landing just outside the village hidden in Rocks. The sand got kicked up into the air as soon as both of his feet hit the surface of the ground below him. He took one glance back over his right shoulder, towards the Rock Village, before making a long dash and continued sprinting, until at least the village he was born and raised in was out of his vision. Perfect. Only a small sound was made, not being heard from any citizens/shinobi from the village. He took his running toward the tree branches, making short leaps off of each branch to his destination. Reverting back to ground level, he got onto all fours, similar to a canine because of his Four Legs Technique, and continued running.
His destination was the great Konohagakure; the village hidden in the Leaves. The center fold of where almost all events happened 100 years ago. History of the world's greatest shinobi resided in that one village, the village gaining alliance from many other villages. Without hesitation he moved himself into the direction of Konohagakure with great velocity, not showing any signs of stopping to take a break any time soon. He moved around the many trees that were located in the path he took and made his way through a thick, yet lively forest that was on the path towards Konohagakure. He moved himself through many weathers; rain, thunder and lightning, mist, hail and the burning sun above the clouds.
The journey was a long journey, but the Earth Shinobi was destined to make his way to Konohagakure to give them his condolences, then setting off to another village, then back to Iwagakure to settle the score with the Tsuchikage. At a given time during his travel, he ran up a tree and took a leap towards the top of the tree, enhancing the range of his sight. He wanted to see if he was running into the correct direction and to determine how much longer he would need to run. In the very distance, if he narrowed his eyes, he could see the beginning of the vast forest, with a surround wooden gate built around the perimeter of the village that led towards Konohagakure. He was glad to be close to his destination, although no facial expression entered inside him as no emotion was shown in him. He wanted to get this traveling over and done with, a sign of him being impatient during his travels. With the view being close to him now, he jumped down from the tree top and into the grassy plains, slowly walking into the direction of Konohagakure, this time slowing down the pace since he was almost there in sight.
The blades of the tiny grass got crushed by Mujin, animals running toward him because of his presence, or was it because of his smell? It was not important at the matter. His short, unkempt snow white hair moved back and forth with every step that he took, his turquoise eyes scanning the horizon the moment that he stepped out of the forest, into the light that emitted from the open field that he stepped into right now. His eyes shifted his gaze to all angles in every direction, knowing Konohagakure must've had ANBU parole since every village got intel of two missing-nin from that one village, but one died not too long ago. That was his first step upon the grassy plains, leading towards the village of his destination. He wondered what he could expect from Konohagakure, he was planning to observe the village first to gain intel on what goes on there. The wooden gate in the distance indicated that the village indeed wasn’t far from his current location.
Wearing his Iwagakure flak jacket, indicating that he was from the village hidden in the rocks, he stepped foot onto the surface of Konohagakure, feeling the breeze of the atmosphere that skidded across his nostrils. He felt good being in a different village, wondering what this village might bring to him. Probably much better then what Iwagakure had to offer because of him staying in that village for many years. This definitely interested him and decided to hang around in this village for a while, for an indefinite amount of time that is.
