Darkness crept upon the genin as she walked outside the front door."Most people are in Kumo currently so I should have no issue with an ANBU...hopefully,"Hiro said running off into the main village.As she arrived towards the gate she saw no one person there."If Reiko comes out of nowhere I won't go easy like our last spar,"She said stepping closer and closer to the border.

"One more step and this Hyuga's gone...I can live with that Iwa here I come,"She said walking away."A kid like me can get away with running away anyway,"Her feet ran through the woods quickly not letting up for a second.Step.Step.Trip.The old rotten branch broke under the girls weight and she found herself swinging from her jacket off another tree,her backpack on the forest floor.

"Grrrr...I will get stronger and stuff like this won't bother me!"She growled swinging her body slowly to a nearby tree.It finally hit her fingers and she grabbed onto it tightly."My stuff is down there if I try to break this branch only the world will know what will happen,"She took a deep breath before unlatching her jacket from the tree and falling meters towards the ground.

A tree trunk hit her back hard and she from the sudden pain.She barely got her body up as she went onto her knees and took deep hard breaths."Well that was unexpected...but better than landing directly onto the ground,"She slightly whimpered rubbing her back.She slowly rose and looked around her surroundings naturally.

"Let's go ya bloody blokey,"She thought jumping down onto the grass and getting a sharp shock in the back.Within seconds she was up and walking again with the occasional pain and aching off her body."I can do this pain or not,"She thought as the endless pain ate at her.She had to get to Iwa before an ANBU found her and made this progress wasted.

Finally the border of Konoha was within her grasp."If a dang ANBU pops up then i'm not letting them even touch me!"Hiro yelled accidentally."Crap!"Hiro put a hand over her mouth and stood extremely quiet.When no obvious noises were heard she quickly ran across the border and quickly ran as fast as possible.

"I need to run fast!I can't afford to get caught now!"She thought jumping from the trees with a reckless amount of attention.Finally she stopped and placed her hand on a tree.Pain shot up through her hand as it retracted and tensed.When she looked it was a simple sebon with blood covering over it."Bloody insecure ninja's!"She thought looking at her hand.

Finally she was a few meters from the Iwa border but sleep pestered her."Just...a few more...steps,"She said finally fainting. Hiro never took too much care of her own body and rarely healed herself so the pain still rung on during the tired genin's half slumber.She only hoped for no ANBU's to come and take her back to Konoha.

Would the ANBU even take her home at all or would they straight up kill her?What if someone found out about her real village and killed her?!"No..no more questions...its just doing now...reckless or not,"She thought as her mind blanked out slowly."...Reiko...i'm sorry if I do die,"She whimpered as sleep took over her body.

Rippa had been rather fine with minding his own since he had been named Sannin of the hidden leaf. Hell, he had accomplished more goals then he had ever intended. The only way left to go was Kage and he didn't want that job anyway. Too many politics. His position as captain of the sword saints already demanded most of his time and he wasn't willing to give that up anyway. He had no qualms with Sousetsu anyway even if the man seemed incredibly lax when it came to how the village ran. Still he had never been in such a position. It was true that his division ran like clockwork and was strict when it came to honor and training, but it was only a part of Konoha. Perhaps the old Senju knew what he was doing after all. Truth be told Rippa didn't care to question the mans judgement on anything really. If he did and people began to see it, they might expect more or begin to question Rippa's position as Sannin or even captain. People were fickle anyway. That was the majority of the reason he was out so late running the border for exercise. Common place these days for him. He had started earlier in the day after all.

Still he had been warned to stop going outside without his equipment. A swordsman without his sword was like moving without a leg. You were vulnerable and in being so you were weak. Or so some of the more grizzled and older swordsmen kept reminding him. That and the reminder that his uncle was still out there, wanting Rippa dead. He couldn't prove it but the attacks had happened. Even if he had been an upstanding man and influential in the medical and political arts he still had faded away after Enaka had been captured...or was it killed? Rippa didn't know for sure as he hadn't been kept in the loop on that. Not that he minded. Too many dangerous people. Now he moved at fairly high speeds wearing the usual. A pair of combat boots with black pants on. Strapped down his legs was an odd sword on either leg. Cain and Abel both loaded and ready when drawn. The swords were also clipped to his belt which held eight more prayers along the front of his waist sheathed there and clipped in. A thick vest with a zipper on the front and a raised collar was zipped most of the way up to his chest and left open around the neck. Lastly was a red long coat with a Konoha headband stitched into either shoulder and the symbols for Sword saint captain in bold letters on the back.

Still he paused as he saw someone laying there on the ground along the border of Iwagakure and Konoha. There were lands in between but in all likelihood that was the direction the person was going. His bright green eyes scanned the area as he came to a halt several meters away. They took in everything for a moment before deciding that it was either a fabulously concealed trap with expert individuals or someone really did just pass out away from any road. Sane people didn't run towards a border through the woods at night. Not unless they could handle anything that came their way. Still Rippa approached cautiously. He wasn't entirely sure of the situation but none the less he would assist a person in need. He could ask questions to them some time after the individual, a woman or girl now that he got close enough to tell, was in a better condition. Still Rippa would kneel next to the fainted girl and gently search her for wounds before rolling her onto her back. He removed his coat and rolled it under her head to support it while she slept only stopping long enough to remove his scroll from its inner pocket. He would then open the scroll and focus a tiny amount of chakra into it to unseal its contents. With a puff of thin smoke a small box appeared. He opened it before setting to work. He was a medic before he wielded a sword. The wound on her hand was minimal and wouldn't need stitches...still he cleaned it with some bottled water and wiped it with a sterilization wipe. Then he pulled out a small bandage and wrapped her hand before setting the medical box to the side. He had not interest in resealing it for the moment. Instead he collected a couple of branches and some rocks and made a fire pit near her. Careful to make no noise. He would then light the logs on fire with a flash of raiton and enjoy the fire while he waited for the girl to his right to awaken.

"I feel....warm?"Hiro said gently opening her eyes.There sat a tall man sitting near a fire-pit.Though her reaction was slow she realized he wasn't a regular ninja.Without wasting another second she got to her two feet and raised her fists in an aggressive form.She backed up slowly not losing the posture before grabbing her bag and running away."ANBU or not he isn't gonna send me back,"She thought.

"AHHH!"She screamed as her back stilll managed to hurt her."...why does it still hurt?!Bloody hell!"She took a pause and gathered herself before looking back."If he chases me i'm screwed no matter what!"She thought as her back hurt even more.She jumped down from the trees and took several deep breaths before hiding inside a small bush."All I need is some mutt tracking me down and it's all over,"

"I swear if I do end up in Konoha again I need to train my Byakugan...I can't see two much espically when I just woke up like a minute ago...it's so quiet I bet he's right behind me..."She thought turning back.She looked ahead again as her heartbeat faster than anything."I can change this escape to Kumo...it's not too far from here...and it will more than likely throw him off my trail for a while...it's a high risk but at least i'll get out Konoha,"She thought getting up and running towards Kumo's border instead.It would take a few hours but she would hopefully get there without getting paused by Rippa.

Rippa quietly sat there and watched as the young girl stirred. His head tilted and his white hair swayed as the young girl appeared to be waking up. She must have been exhausted to have fallen as she did. He wondered what had her in such a rush to get out of the country quietly to himself. He dug into his pocket and pulled out an apple he had collected on his run earlier. He had kept it in his pants but the red apple still had plenty of shine to it and no bruises. Reaching behind himself he pulled a kunai that had been hidden in the small of his back and held the apple in one hand while slicing it with the kunai and eating a slice. As she opened her eyes he raised his eyebrows and smiled as he chewed on the apple slice. So that was probably a big part of all the secrecy. A hyuga girl. They always seemed to be a little to feisty and quick to action for their own good. He simply sat there and blinked as she jumped to her feet and put up her hands as if prepared to fight him. She was certainly lively for someone who just woke up. He wondered if she was thirsty...or hungry for that matter. He had some rations in his coat to share he supposed.

However his eyes rolled and he sighed as she grabbed her pack and made a run for it. For one she was slow and the other part was she was running from him of all people. They had never met as far as he knew but he was kinda famous. He wondered just how much she thought that through as he tossed the kunai up in the air and lifted his hand to hold his palm up. In the center of his palm a small ball of crimson liquid formed in the air and shifted to his side before rapidly expanding as it shot after the girl. Rapidly taking human shape before it gained the features and normal appearance of Rippa. A blood clone should be enough to ask a question or two. With that made and in pursuit he reached up and caught the Kunai as it fell before continuing to cut a second slice into the apple and putting his feet up as he chewed on it. Enjoying his meal as his clone raced full speed to overtake the girl.

The clone barely had to move very fast before it nearly passed as little more then a blur passed the girl hiding in a bush. His eyes taking her in as she was little more then ten meters from the fire and the real Rippa. When she got up to try running again she would turn to see a Rippa about five meters ahead leaned back against a tree with his arms and heels crossed yawning. When he looked back at her he smiled warmly. It was almost odd how calm he was. No sense of danger seemed to radiate from him but a sort of warmth. A calm settling into the night. When he spoke his voice was cheerful and warm. A practiced bedside manner of a medic. One he had perfected well before he perfected the sword. Even his eyes seemed to reflect the smile as the moonlight seem to make the green in them shine a little.

"Now now, calm down. We don't want to strain your injuries more then needed. I assume that wasn't a scream of passion and vigor as you charged off into the brush. I would really rather you came back to the fire and had a bite to eat and something to drink. All I want is a talk and then I will heal you. Sound good kiddo?"

She had run fast enough to pass him right?Without wasting another second she walked out of the bush and yet again saw the now familiar white haired man."How the bloody hell did that happen?!"She thought taking a fighting stance again.He was ahead of her but how?She had paid as much attention as possible."Stupid Byakugan can't do nothing for me!"She thought staring at him with her lavender eyes."Now now, calm down. We don't want to strain your injuries more then needed. I assume that wasn't a scream of passion and vigor as you charged off into the brush. Running wasn't an option due to her poor hiding skills and speed.Fighting wasn't as well speaking he had easily outrun her.She needed a lie and a good one to make him back off.But instead she froze before saying something random."I wouldn't mess with me if I were you,"She lied backing up."Why would I say that of all things!"She thought sweating a bit.The morning sun started raising.Had she spent the whole night getting here to this one spot!?At this point she was stuck hurting whoever the hell this guy was."Come on name one move you can do nicely...zero...well fine hand to hand combat it is until I decide to buy shuriken!"She thought cracking her knuckles.

She ran up to the much taller man and could barely muscle out a soft punch as she aimed for him."He can't be a simple genin what am I doing!Being an idiot but this is just purely stupid!"Crack!The branch underneath her gave a loud cracking sound and Hiro retracted her hand at the last minute and jumped back down from the trees in fear of getting hurt yet again."Wait wheres my left sandal?!"Hiro thought as she landed back onto the ground.She lifted her head and the leftover sandal smacked her in the face causing her to close her eyes and fall forward."Fine i'm visiting Kumo for the exams....now help me up will ya,"Hiro said rubbing her face.

This man couldn't possibly be an idiot but then again she was going for the exams in a way.Then she was gonna go to Iwa at one point so was she really lying?The Hyuga groaned as her head  burned with pain."Now to just get away with it and i'm gone scott free,"She thought running her head harder."Maybe i'll see Reiko there?Thats it i'll just say I lost track of her while going to the exams,"Hiro stopped rubbing her head and stared at the sandal before growling."Stupid shoe...I need to get smaller ones in Kumo or something,"

Back at camp~

Rippa himself sat at the fire chewing on his apple and contemplated how it might of tasted roasted. If anything he figured it would be weird. He had eaten baked apple before and instead of being crispy like every thing else that burned he found it had become softer. He really didn't like the texture of it. His green eyes blinked as he was broken away from the thought process by the sound of a branch cracking in the distance. His clone was still up and about but that was about the limit of the connection he had to it. That and telling how far within his range it was. He doubted the girl could do much to him but she was a hyuga. Besides if she had beaten his clone he would of received the memories by now. It was always a slight head ache remembering everything the clone had experienced including the feel of whatever had dispersed them. He sighed as he waited for it to be over. He really didn't know why these hyuga girls were always so ticked off. Both the females of that clan he had met thus far were ready to square up against him right off the bat. He hoped this one was more reasonable though.

The clone and the girl~

The clone of Rippa watched with a raised brow as the girl charged him. That punch of hers seemed slow and lacked the typical taijutsu power he had grown accustomed to witnessing. For a moment he wondered if she was really a Hyuga or if her eyes just gave off that appearance. Still he was familiar enough with what the soft palm could do to a person and their chakra system. He wasn't sure but perhaps she didn't need to hit very hard in order to get the technique off. His hand rose up swiftly like a blur to try and catch her wrist but stopped halfway as the branch under her foot snapped. He watched her launch back in fear from dropping again and blinked before sighing and letting his hand fall to his side. He listened as she explained her intent to go to Kumo and shook his head. He wasn't fond of lies and this one was a bad one or she was an idiot when it came to directions. He very much doubted her story just as he doubted anyone around him. She didn't look like a complete idiot. He knew people had demons within them if one only looked deep enough. Still when he spoke it sounded mildly annoyed as he held up his hands in a sort of mock surrender. His eyes watching her.

Hiro's stomach growled and made her a bit madder."I got to think...give up and go back to Konoha...or go with him and make him take me to Kumo,"Hiro thought rasing her head towards the Chi male."Take me to Kumo and i'll be out your hair forever...and if you don't then i'll be forced to attempt to retreat yet again,"Hiro said locking her eyes onto him."Deal?"Hiro silently cracked her knuckles before sitting up and sitting upon her knees.She pulled her jacket's hoodie over her head and stuffed her hands into her pockets.

Hiro just waited.He could be a robber stealing her stuff but she didn't care.Long as he took her to Kumo she was fine.But if he didn't he had another thing coming for sure.Fighting popped into her mind in case he did have the nerve to attack her in this position.'Basic punches should at least startle him...if not then a few kicks and retreating will be the best plan,'Hiro thought slightly smirking.She gritted her teeth while staring at her fallen sandal.'Traitorous sandal...looks like everything can betray you these days...so can i trust this guy?'Hiro looked down to the ground below her then raised it slightly again."I need to see my cousin...please i'm not lying this time,"Hiro said as polite as possible."She...I worry about her a lot and I need to know shes alright in Kumo...spectating or not,"Hiro growled slightly while trying to be nice.It was extremely painful speaking she had a naturally more aggressive personality.It was taking all her strength to not run or attack him.But which was worse?Mental pain or physical?'Both are bad enough...but mental takes the cake,'Hiro thought sighing slightly.

Rippa or rather clone Rippa watched her with white eyebrows raised and an amused smile. This whole scenario had him feeling deja vu. Such hot headed young women were the common thing to be found amongst females in Konoha in his experience. Especially in the Hyuga clan. He wondered just what had made them so hard. After all he was just offering her food and healing and she was tossing him an ultimatum as if she was in some position of power in this negotiation. His hand rose to his chin as he rubbed the stubble there as he contemplated the situation. She was being fairly up front about wanting to leave and kept dropping hints about never being around again. However it was usually expected to bring back foolish run aways. He wasn't exactly normal but it was better him then some ANBU hunter that intended to erase her. After all a dojutsu had some value and they couldn't just have Hyuga running around on their own at genin. On the other hand he wasn't much of one to stand between someone and their goals. That aside the Hokage had just allowed someone to defect legally. It had been odd and caused a great deal of debate but it might be the future of freedom for some. Why she didn't try and leave legally he might never know. Either way he should leave it up to the main body to decide.

The clone would sigh audibly before shaking his head and right in front of her would turn red and burst into a puddle of blood. To anyone who didn't know about the chi clan it might look like something had just liquefied the man in front of her. Still back at camp Rippa suddenly sat up as memories flooded into his mind. The clone had released himself and with his chakra returning so did the memories of the clone. With a chuckle and a shake of his head Rippa rose to his feet and kicked dirt over the fire. He grabbed his coat and resealed the medical box before slipping into the coat and placing the scroll into his inner pocket next to the other one. He let his green gaze shift through the dark forest before he stepped twice and in those two bounds was next to her again. He smiled and nodded to her before he spoke up.

"Well then. Off to Kumo we go. I do hope you might come back and visit me in time though. With the exams underway your absence might not be noticed but afterwards you can bet a roll call will happen. Do try and come back eventually of your own volition. I doubt most ANBU are as kind as me. Oh I nearly forgot."

Without even worrying about if she would lash out at him he calmly places his right hand on her shoulder. It would feel like a warm and soothing presence filled her. In that split second every single wound or injury she had managed to cause herself was healed. He had simply touched her and all the pain was gone and she was at the peak of health. Still he grinned as he began to hike towards the main road. He tossed an MRE over his shoulder to her as he walked and talked.

"Grab your sandal and eat while we walk. You are about two clicks from one of the main roads to Kumo. Once we hit the road I have some slightly faster and more comfortable mode of transportation for us. Keep up kiddo."

From her spot on the ground a large puddle of blood formed.Instant regret of anything ever hit her.All the fighting...all the detention...just total regret.A pair of footsteps approached her and quickly spoke."Well then. Kumo.Just the possibility made her excited to see the new village.Maybe she'd meet someone new?Someone who acts like her.And Reiko,just the thought made her happy to see the older Hyuga female.Wait a minute.Why was she so unnaturally excited?Reiko?A new village to see?Meeting new people?Hiro looked upon the food she was eating and paused for a minute."I'm gonna be sick by the time I reach Kumo,"Hiro thought before eating the coffee cake presented to her.Coffee...not her favorite...but cake...what the hell were you doing Rippa?"Your tearing me apart with this stuff...Reiko were getting something to eat first thing when I reach Kumo,"Hiro thought again before realizing she hadn't said a single thing to Rippa except for saying he was nice."......so...were almost there huh?...and what is on your mind about this transportation?...some kind of secret?"Hiro asked forcing herself to eat another bit of coffee cake."By the way i'm not a girl...i'm a boy..."Hiro blushed at the lie.It was a lie. Rippa would probably know that.But as much as it was a lie she felt it was mostly true.Hiro wondered for a minute.Who was he really?Chi Rippa of the sword saints?But what the heck is a Chi?!"The blood thing...Chi means blood..."Hiro thought almost dropping her box of food."Blood is disgusting...you can't live with it and can't live without it...like most woman typically...though it's the men afraid of blood surprisingly enough...maybe hanging out with this guy may make me learn more about blood,"Hiro thought."Hey...what do you know about blood?"Hiro asked taking in a scoop of something other than the disgustingly tasty treat.

Rippa enjoyed the quiet walk for a time. It was rather a pleasant experience to the informed one was a nice individual. He knew it already and yet he felt a little warmth in his chest at being told so. Perhaps positive reinforcement was truly a strengthening part of life. Some considered that only what nearly killed you made you stronger but Rippa found that it was typically the small things that increased ones inner strength far more often. Still the walk was quiet for a moment as she continued to chew on what rations he had provided her. Truthfully he wished he had something at least slightly more edible to feed her but he had what he had. He kept his strides to a reasonable length as he was taller then her just out of practice as he was taller then a lot of the people he met. He had been lanky as a kid but now his body matched his height. Even walking behind him Hiroyuki would be able to easily tell this person was at a height of physical level beyond anything normal. Not perfection but his muscles seemed not only strong but flexible. His shoulders were wide as well. Truth was this person was physically, mentally and spiritually strong. If not a little naive.

Rippa almost chuckled out loud as the individual following him inquired about the transportation after some silence. Instead he just smiled as he continued towards the road. His warm voice calling over his shoulder "A bit of a surprise. Just faster and more comfortable for the both of us. Well...perhaps not faster than me but I don't really care to move at full pace all the way to the border anyway." Still as the individual commented on their gender Rippa blinked and turned to look at her behind him. Then he shrugged and smiled as he seemed to continue moving while avoiding any obstacles ahead without having to look. When he spoke he sounded cheerful enough. "Hey, Whatever pronoun you prefer. That is your business. As for knowing about blood. I would claim to probably be one of the most knowledgeable people in the village when it came to that. My clan doesn't tap into suiton like others can. Instead we tap into blood chakra. Similar in almost every way but one....it is blood that we create, the look, the smell and the feel. However the branch of the clan I am head of has a connection with our blood that allows us to heal with it. Like back in the woods. Do not fret, I didn't get blood on you. At my level I can do it through my skin. Oh hey the road!"

With that he stopped at the road and looked both ways before pulling out a grey scroll and clasping it in one hand and making a release seal with the other. Then he held it by one end and tossed the other out over the road before a puff of smoke filled the area. As it cleared it revealed a motorcycle with an animal like skull over the front wheel and large human like skulls on the sides of the wheels. Rippa chuckled before sitting on the forward seat and gripping the handles. He would wait for her to be situated on the back seat and belted in before he would grin sheepishly. "A phase of mine I guess. I like how it looked." With that said he started it up with a roar as the headlights came to life and they took off at A rank speed down the road. All the way to the border where Rippa would drop her off as he didn't intend to go any further. "Travel safe now. And come back in one piece."

The words rung through the girls ears and gave her a new piece of knowledge she'd never know had it not been for him.Suddenly he shouted the word road and Hiro dropped her food to run towards it.He took out a few items and messed around with them and suddenly summoned a motorcycle.A motorcycle."Holy crap!"Hiro yelled poking at the cool and interesting looking motorcycle.She couldn't help but squee when Rippa sat on it and got ready to drive off.She sat on it with no hesitation and smiled as the ride was about to start.It took off with amazing speed and she half-screamed in fear as it rode off.The screams were replaced with cheers and happy yelling as it roared loud unlike anything she'd every heard before.Even rivaling her rude obnoxious yelling at certain times.Trees passed by like a blur and were replaced by rocks and small mounds of dirt for a few seconds before being replaced by trees again.A few bumps caused her to go back and forth between the seat in front and behind at certain times even making her hit her jaw on Rippa's back at one point.Through all this, she kept her head high and ignored the pain."This bike is awesome!"Hiro screamed loudly.It was covered through the loud noises and she wished the older white haired male heard her.
